Hummingbird Hollow Outdoors

Hummingbird Hollow Outdoors Farm Sanctuary, is a small non-profit farm animal refuge where you may interact with the animals, stay overnight, and take your children to appreciate nature and the outdoors.

Hummingbird Hollow Outdoors is a 501c3 farm animal sanctuary with now 86 calm individuals in it, and they are fundraising to expand our enclosed area for pigs, goats, sheep, and donkeys as well as to ensure that everyone is spayed.

They adore company, and you will too! The proceeds of which assist in keeping everyone well-fed! Hummingbird Hollow Outdoors has a piece of heaven with a 27-acre slice where you may tent camp and enjoy the wilderness. Day visitors are also welcome; we don’t charge anything but appreciate a $15 or $20 contribution.

Campers have the freedom to select their own camping location, whether it’s in a field or along the edge of the woods. Campers may pitch their tent anywhere they choose. The campsites are all located in fields near the animals! You’ll be out of sight of any civilization if you pick a good site.

You may have the custom fire pit(s) and firewood delivered to your site of choice.

The newest accommodation, a fully furnished yurt/tree house with a wood stove for year-round warmth, has just been added.

Get your family outdoors and away from their gadgets and phones! There are several paths that have been cleared for hiking, as well as entirely untouched ecosystems to explore. You’ll see several types of birds while out there, perhaps even a deer or two. Pets on a leash are welcome.

Open all year, and you can experience a variety of Missouri’s weather conditions throughout the year. We’ve experienced all four seasons in one week on at least one occasion!
