I bought this volleyball for my 13 year old daughter for her birthday and she and her friends just had a blast using it at our lakeside BBQ. The light up quality was even better than I expected. Very easy to charge too. I just offered it to our neighbor for a gathering she’s planning this weekend. Highly recommend for summer parties or as a gift for kids or adults!

Honest review.. bought the softball to try to extend practice when losing sunlight sooner..Glow lasted about 10 min.. ball was much harder then a regular 12in fast pitch ball.. not ideal for pitching as the lacing hurt my pitchers fingers.. other then that it was great for playing a quick game of catch with my daughter at nighttime.

Hello have this as a gift to my son and that afternoon we tried to charge football and pack wouldn’t work. Tried a battery pack for cell and works fine. Can someone contact me to replace as seems not possible to buy currently

It was costly at first but worth it. We do a Futsal league and do back out night to stayed lighten the entire game we would charge it during half time and between all 3 game it was a good night

When the ball is removed from the charging case it is very bright. Within a few minutes it becomes much duller and gives off much less of a glow…It can still be seen in the dark for about another 45 minutes but it’s not nearly as bright as I expected it to be.I would return if not for the fact it was a gift for a 7 yr old and he loves it.Also I believe it’s way too expensive for what it is.

I don’t doubt this ball would be super fun to play with in the dark BUT it is smaller and significantly heavier than a normal volleyball. Due to the smaller size and heavier weight it doesn’t feel like real volleyball when you are using it.With a house full of daughters who play volleyball at school and in the office season this doesn’t work for us.

The only reason for the 4 star review is the light bag has some issues.First the battery pack’s charge level indicator is always at 2 of 4 bars. Even after charging overnight.Second the bag can only get the ball at what looks like 75% of the ball’s brightness. I just carry a led flashlight with me and recharge the ball during nighttime catch session. The flashlight gets the ball super bright.Bottom line 100% buy this ball if you like hanging out with you kids/friends and playing catch while talking about life.

I rarely write reviews but having just received my charge softball feel compelled to do so on this occasion. I have only had the ball for a day but immediately noticed the following:1. Ball seems good quality – very solid look and feel2. It does ‘charge’ up in the case as quickly as advertised3. I don’t think it probably holds the bright charge as long as stated, but when it is so quick and easy to pop it in the case and ‘re-charge’ it, it doesn’t matterI think so often the opportunity to throw the ball around is when it is starting to get dark. This ball is just perfect for those ocassions.

My son liked this ball it charged up quickly and looked great at night.But it exploded for no reason in the closet 3 months after purchase.And there was no help to be got from the company. They said it is not our problem and I should contact amazon. But I could not find a person to talk to about it at amazon.

This ball is awesome! My kids have been playing with it nightly in our back yard! I really love how quickly and easily it charges, just pop it in the bag for a few minutes and it’s good to go. We’ve had other glue in the dark b as pls, but you can’t even compare them to the strength of the Chargeball. I think we might need the football next for our 4th of July weekend.

I didn’t realize that this is simply a glow in the dark ball. I was thinking it would have an internal lighting mechanism of some type but my 9 YO thinks its cool

Happy with the concept. I actually use this to charge glow Chuck-its for the dog at night. Works very well WITH MY OWN BATTERY CHARGE SOURCE. the USB from the bag will plug into any battery charger. It does charge the glow ball within 2.0 seconds. Much easier than holding a flashlight against the chuck-it.But as stated, the battery source provided with product failed on day one. Would NOT recharge.

Works amazing. Kids call it the magic football. It lasts closer to 30min (looking fully charged) then it starts to fade. But with a 1 minute charge, you’re back in action. The case alone is worth it. So cool

Im in love with it! I meann… what else do you need to play baseball all day and NIGHT! Perfect upgrade to “Just a day” sport!And I am not going to complain about the amount it cost, y?? Because theirs nothing else out their that can do this! I was really looking forward to this but was really disappointed in the quality of the football. It was mis-shaped and appeared to be stitched together incorrectly. I let it sit a few days after inflation to see if it would stretch out but it could never get to the proper shape.

Was impressed. We played 2 hrs of night baseball on a astroturf field. Players ranging from 10-15 years old. Held up will so far. Ball would stay bright for to go through 3-4 and recharge in between changing fielders. Will worth it, the players, parents and even the adult softball league enjoyed watching the players have fun during our world series
