Really simple. Small packets that you just throw into your fire and you will have a bunch of colored flames that last for a few minutes and then random flickers for even longer. Be sure to use AFTER you do the marshmellows! 🙂 Got some great pics. Surprised by how small the packets are but they do the job, especially for a fire pit in the backyard.

Very easy to use. Just toss the color packet into the fire and wait for it to burst and spread. Be sure to put it on the top in the middle of your fire so it spreads and doesn’t get stuck somewhere off to the side where it won’t burn. We had a blast with this.

I love camping, this adds an extra bit of fun to the campfire. I don’t do every time because I don’t use this when I roast marshmallows, but if we are just gathered around for fun or after the smores are done, I throw one of these in and the smiles on everyone’s faces get wider as we watch the colors.

It took 4 packs to color a small fire.Once we had the 4 packs IN THE FLAMES… any that land outside of flames do not work.. we did enjoy a beautiful, colorful fire.I purchased a large box and look forward to our next fire.I’ll buy these again.Are they a good deal for the price? Idk. Anything you pay for to literally throw in a fire is money spent in a silly way. Lol. So it depends on if you enjoy sitting by the fire. If you do… they aren’t that expensive to have something different and enjoyable.Let me help you tho… make SURE the pack goes directly in the flame. If it doesn’t… you are literally throwing money in your fire and burning it.

I’ve used Magical Flames several times and find each packet lasts 45 minutes to an hour. It is an interesting effect with an array of colors. Something to keep in mind is that the packet material does give off an order. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to note. Living in California, I tend to burn Oak or Almond. Both kinds of wood produce their own distinct smell when burning. When using Magical Flames, the burning wood smell is effectively replaced with that of the packet contents. Final note: per the instructions, don’t cook over wood that has been burned with Magical Flames. Enjoy the color show, but save the smores for another night.

This was beyond what I expected. It was the first time trying them and what a way to spend a ladies night in! The pictures simply cannot do it justice. It was a beautiful swirling, whirling dance of rainbow flames. Blue was the most prevalent, green next, then purples and pinks. You will not be disappointed!!Since it was the first time trying them I used 6 packs as I also was testing out some features on my Sony A6000 to prep for a photoshoot. It was jam packed with color!! It lasted for about an hour and forty-five minutes. We spaced out the six quite a bit and this was a good sized fire.We retired inside before the colors even stopped. It was a great experience and just bought 50 more!! If you have any doubt, don’t, just buy them!!

We enjoyed this product and it does work well, as long as it’s put DIRECTLY in the flames. If it lands anywhere outside of the flames… the pack is wasted.We added one, as the directions say.. but the effect was very little for our desired taste. It took 4 packs to color a small fire.Once we had the 4 packs IN THE FLAMES… any that land outside of flames do not work.. we did enjoy a beautiful, colorful fire.I purchased a large box and look forward to our next fire.I’ll buy these again.Are they a good deal for the price? Idk. Anything you pay for to literally throw in a fire is money spent in a silly way. Lol. So it depends on if you enjoy sitting by the fire. If you do… they aren’t that expensive to have something different and enjoyable.Let me help you tho… make SURE the pack goes directly in the flame. If it doesn’t… you are literally throwing money in your fire and burning it.

We use these all the time in our campfire but definitely use them after you’re done making your s’mores don’t want to cook over them but the colors are very bright long lasting works great

use 2 packages for more effect. young kids will enjoy papas “magic” skill in making the fire change color. colors are not super vibrant, but you will notice some difference in flame color. per instructions, do not cook over fire once you have added this to your fire.

You definitely get some nice color in your fire with just one packet, but adding 2 makes for a more dazzling display as each packet gives off a different set of colors.Just remember to use these *after* you’ve had your s’mores or anything you’re cooking over a fire as the chemicals are not good for you to inject.

Get all your cooking/roasting done before you use these because they last a long time in your fire. When we put our fire out for the night it was still colorful. For an amazing effect, throw three or four into your fire at diferent spots.

It kinda works- but you need a huge flaming fire before you put this on, and I needed 5 packs added over about 15 minutes to have a noticeable effect. I starting a fire, and when I had some nice big flames, I added 3 packs- hoping for wothing interesting- after about 2 miites I starting filming, nothing hapening… I added two more half way through the video and still nothing. About 3 minutes later, some blue and green highlights started lasted a good 10 more minutes- however, the aged oak I was burning did not – and the colors are only at the base of the flame – as you add additional wood, you only see the plain vanilla orange flames coming over the top- so plan accordingly, unless you use your fireplace tools to turn every log upside down or get your eyeballs real close to look under the new logs, which I don’t think anyone recommends- certainly not me. I attempted t upload video of the time that I did get color flame but amazon will only allow one video and I thought nearly 7 minutes of nothing (from the time I put the first 3 on this raging fire, then two more was enough.I bought these as a christmas gift for a friend who burns in his fireplace every morning after he leaves his night job because watching the fire helps him unwind. I would feel embarassed giving this to him without a warning a 50 pack is worth about 10 times 15 minutes of colored fire, but don’t expect much.I would highly recommend a 12 pack for fun at a big party with a huge fire- 4th of july beach bondfire? Labor day picknick with a good sized in-ground wood burning fire pit, then yes, spend the $ for a small pack nd put all of it on! – its a fun “party trick” for conversation.but If you burn regularly at home- bleh… save the money and buy good fireworks for 4th of July. Im debating returning them, or handing them out in sets of 5 in a burnable paper bag as a stocking stuffer with other dollar store junk, sale socks, encouraging 2022 calendar and breath mints just to fill out what would otherwise be- Heres your cash card that I feel obligated to send but I didn’t put any thought into your merry blanking christmas…

Absolutely mesmerizing when relaxing. My nephew loves it too. Will be buying a box so his parents can throw the little package it comes in into the fire so he can enjoy it. He’ll be 4 years old. Watching him enjoy this is worth every penny and it lasts for a while.

Used in our our fireplace and the colors were beautiful. Enjoyed them so much. The next day I bought more so we wouldn’t run out anytime soon. Colors last about 20 – 30 minutes depending on the flames in your fire.

My daughter really love throwing these in the fire pit. It is very colorful. She throws about three at a time. It last about 10 minutes.
