    Compact size

Stanley durability in compact, light weight package. Heats up quickly and cleans up easy enough. Perfect size for cooking small meals and easy to transport.

Great packable cook set for the fish house

I thought this would make a great Christmas gift for my husband as he loves to cook in the fish house and while camping. We have a portable pop-up fish house that they carry out on the ice to set up and make a day of ice fishing. With all of the other gear they need to take with them, this cook set has everything they made need all stacked into one small package.

A MOST AWESOME COOKSET FOR ANY USE

bought this for our family of 4 emergency grab and go packs and is perfect for it – and it is so awesome it has become my go to daily cookware – the pot is a fairly heavy stainless steel and should last a lifetime of use, super quality as is most stanley products – the skillet is incredible, very heavy bottom for even heating but not so heavy as to be easily packable in our emergency gear – bowls and plates are good quality plastic and heavy enough to last a long time with care – the plates fit perfectly on bowls to act as a cover for leftovers – some say paltes are too small but they are perfectly sized to fit in the pot, they work quite well – sporks are best design i have ever used, if you like sporks any way – the drying rack also acts as a good insulator to keep hot pots off of tabletop – the big spoon and spatula fit together very securely but i am guessing over time they will loosen up but probably not enough to come apart in use – love the addition of a little cutting board and for camping picnincing use its serves very welloverall this is a perfect set sized for a family of four, very compact and light for its use (not a backpacking weight) – i highly recommend it not just for camping but everyday use (an inexpensive complete set of cookware for 4) and store all in the pot for space saving

I’ve decided to edit my review

This item is made very well and durable, but it’s only practical if you’re an Oompa Loompa From Willie Wonka And The Chocolate Factory… Lol.. I reckon I’ll be going back for 2nd helping. Ok Update.. After using it for cooking 2 meals I am now satisfied. Although I do wish that the plates were a little bit bigger because they have plenty of room for it.. But I really do like it now..

    This cook set is awesome

This cook set is by far one of the best I have used. It is definitely for car camping but a great set. The only complaint I have read about this kit is that the plates are not big enough. My solution, eat smaller portions, put smaller portions on plate and go back for seconds or thirds, and finally pack some paper plates if it bothers you that much. The kit fits all in the large pot and is self contained, find something else to complain about this kit is great.

    Great camp set

What I hate about most camping products is they are too lightweight. They just don’t hold up to real use. This set does not have that issue. This is not a ultra lightweight set you will have to throw out in a year. It is exactly what I expect from Stanley. Quality construction and built for a lifetime of use. If you are looking for quality over saving a few grams, this is the set.

Good medium weight camping cook set

Packs up neatly. Good size to feed 4 people. If you want any lighter you will need to look into titanium but they don’t come this big. I store mine in a collapsible cleaning bucket. Lost the retaining bungee on first camping trip.

Compact and cooks good. Bottom of pot and skillet are thick and heat well.

Very nice set up. Very compact and cooking is easy in this set up. I chose this due to the compact set up and multi use of the items included.

    great set

Bought this to replace an older pan set. It’s the perfect size for me and husband to take on a weekend camping trip. The plates are a tad small, but I expected that. Love that i don’t have to pack paper plates and disposable silverware anymore. Would definitely recommend

    Organized wonderfully!

Great materials were used in the construction of this set and meant to last for many outdoor activities. The organization, once packed, is unlike any other product I have seen. The only thing missing is a knife but otherwise every piece makes any adventure great.

    Good quality

Good quality stainless steel camp cook set.One thing I didn’t like was that, when I opened the box I noticed underneath the rolled lip there is weird grease/ gunk stuck there. Also because of the metal pan goes inside of the metal bowl, scratch is inevitable but not a big deal. All and all I am happy with the purchase.

    Great middle ground set.

This is a great set for the price. The utensils and dishes seem to be pretty durable. The pot and pan works well with the Biolite Camp2 Stove. I will though likely upgrade later to the even heat set. As always you can trust Stanley.

Of all Outdoor Pan Sets This Is The most Durable & Rugged I have purchased. But Not Perfect.

The quality of this set is above any mid grade household pan set available for double the money. However it is stainless steal so items can stick without a little oil and an experience cook that uses stainless pans. My tri-ply stainless sets at home I have of a well know premium brand sticks too so I use some oil on the bottom before cooking.Only negative of this set is that they cold of made the kitchen plates larger as there is room. I realize this may cause difficulty in nesting in the large pot but would be worth the trouble. For an idea of how big it is, just think of the salad plate you use at home. The bowls on the other hand are in some cases larger then the ones at home.I got this on a Amazon prime day and got one heck of a deal as I also preordered elsewhere a GSI Pinnacle camp cookware set that I haven’t received yet but I din’t have to as this set would of also worked out just as good an alot more durable then the GSI but the GSI set has a non-stick coating which is a benefit and a curse because the non stick pan will not last but a few years where as this stanley set could last generations.Buy it as it is of high quality and is smaller in reality then the pictures and online videos shown as why I got the GSI instead but I didn’t have to. As this unit will also fit for my purpose.

    Very Well Thought-Out Kit

I paid $80.00 for this set in June of 2017.Very robust, and ideal for car camping. Can be used over a woodfire because it’s stainless steel. The bottoms of the two pots are thick and provide a uniform heating function.Contains 4 sets of dishes/utensils.The handles on the big pot are rounded and will not scratch your hands. The lid is designed to sit on either pot. The smaller pot is essentially a frying pan, and has a folding-out handle.

The quality is even better than I expected

I have been wanting this set to add to my camping gear collection for a while. The quality is even better than I expected! Can’t wait to use on our upcoming camping trip to the mountains. I also bought the Stanley two pot cook set and plan on combining the two into one (minus a few pieces) for other adventures when it’s just two of us and we don’t need everything. Lots of options, perfect size!

Nothing like field use to tell you what you are missing.

During the last hurricane we had an extended power outage which enabled me to put my bug-out supplies through a practical field test. I was able to identify several deficiencies for sustained subsistence. and this kits fills several of those needs well. Nicely contained and light enough to find a place in my duffel.

    Great cook set

Very well made and sturdy. The pots are a great size. I love how everything breaks down and is stored within itself. The bowls and plates are really small but worked perfectly for my family of two. For four people the plates would be ridiculous (one plate holds one hamburger with no room for anything else).

    You’ll own this for years.

I know some people are crazy about “ULTRALIGHT”. But there are some things that are just worth the weight. When I camp/hike I camp with kids (10 and 7). I’ve tried both GSR and MSR frying pans and they just aren’t durable enough.I generally have camp with a base camp so I bring more kitchen gear for that. And it’s nice to have a large and heavy duty set of pots to cook larger more traditional meals. It basically gives me a compact version of modern kitchen conveniences.I have no complaints about this product. I love Stanley gear and weight aside I’d put this up against any leading brand cookware on the market.

    Great for family camping

Perfect for family camping. Place settings for 4 people. The pot is large enough to cook a box of pasta. Very compact and has everything needed so you use less paper. This would be heavy for backpacking however.

    Very pleased

Took these on a camping trip and really enjoyed it. I would agree with others that if the plates had taller lips they would hold much more. But apart from that I wouldn’t change much. The frying pan and pot are very thick, however I think I might buy a small non-stick pan just for ease of cleaning up.

    Family cookset

Very nice cookset for prolonged family camping trips. It has eveything and plus for a good lunch or dinner. The fring pan has a heat diffuser so you can use it without burning your foods but the big pot hasn’t got any. So you need either to cook juicy meals or use a separate heat diffuser under it (highly advisable when cooking rice or potatoes for example). I find plate’s drying base useless, you may easly and quickly dry everything with a cotton tissue. Since the pot is big and heavy when fulled, it is better to use it on a very stable stove having 4 arms. Flat stoves operating with aerosol cans are very practical when used in summer vacations.

    Sturdy high quality camp cookware

The Stanley cookware set is as high quality as expected from this company. We fried eggs (with enough oil) without an issue, bacon turned out great. We also made sirloin steaks however the pan is a touch too small to cook for 4 people. We cleaned them without a problem. This is definitely a car camping kit since it has some heft to it. It stacks nicely and doesn’t take up much room in our camp box.

    Can’t wait to use

Unboxed and was surprised at the quality. That doesn’t often happen, I feel like I do enough research to usually have a very good picture in my head of what I’m about to buy online. This Stanley kit is stout! I wasn’t expecting a cheap set by any means, but they definitely exceeded my expectations.

    I’m happy, so far

I just took this kit out for a 5 day trip. The pot and pan seem well made. The spatula and large spoon came in handy. The bowls and plates are sturdy but very small. I am happy overall with my purchase

I have an RV with an outdoor kitchen –

But am sick to death of dragging the inside pots to the outside. This little space saving set is easy to heat up sides while the main course is in the camp stove or grill – and can then be washed and put away. Yes, the plates and bowls are small, but they are serviceable, so I’m fine with that.

Smaller than expected but works great

This bad boy makes me feel like an outdoor chef. They have all the things you need. The pan is a little smaller than I expected but I started to bring a cast iron with me to make the bigger things. It’s nice if you don’t want to bring a bunch of cooking utensils and only have 4 people.

    Metanoia

    Very suprised

Purchased this set to upgrade an older camping kitchen. It wasn’t my first choice for new cookware but the previous reviews sold me on it and I figured for the price I could just test it out and then part ways if it doesn’t hold up. Well, Used it for a week while camping (6/17-6/21/19) and was very impressed. So size: it’s a small set, but the pot is great! we made a multitude of chili/soups/pasta w/sauce and steamed veggies. It heats up quick and evenly and cleaned super easy with mild soap and warm water every time. The lid acts as a strainer and could use a bit more drain holes but other than that it held up just fine. The handles however did get hot while on our Coleman Stove but workable. The skillet is very tiny so we brought a larger one and used the one with the set for reheating smaller portions for our 3 yr old. The plates are not designed for adults but work great for a toddler. We used the bowls just about exclusively, those are a great addition to the set. We didn’t use the trivet/drain rack or cutting board and just left those home. The sporks worked well. The part of the set that blew me away was the spoon and spatula specifically since they break apart for storing. Those items are very sturdy and held up real well. I was expecting something cheap but again, surprised by the well they held up after a weeks worth of use.I have no regrets about buying this set and would recommend it to any person/family looking to upgrade their car camping kitchen set.

    Great little pack!

This is my go to for camp cooking. The pan is a little small, but really holds its own. I mainly use it on a Coleman stove, but I’ve used it on open flame too.Every part of the kit is well made, but the sporks are a little week. We do not use those.

I should definitely do a video review of these. I am super impressed with the nesting of this cook set as well as the quality that Stanley puts out. At about 5 pounds, you wouldn’t want to backpack with this, but for car camping, it’s perfect. I’ll do a video review when I use it for the first time at the campsite.

This is a great set for a family of 4 that want to downsize

We have recently downsized our camping vehicle. This allows us to have everything we really need to cook on without taking up lots of space. I would recommend that you purchase stainless or titanium sporks as you will probably need to augment this system with other things that will fit inside. We lost a spork rite off the bat.

The Car Camping Weekend Staple Cookset

It’s really everything you need to cook and feed a crew of 4 out at the campsite. It’s a bit heavy for the backpacking type, but if you basecamp/car camp, it’s awesome! And it’s Stanley, so it’s durable, easy to clean, well designed and will last you a long time. I’ve had a couple of sets of these over time, because you will eventually lose some of the smaller pieces, but the pot, the skillet, the pates and the combo spoon/forks will stay with you. It’s great that it nests into itself, too. It’s a real space saver and super convenient when you’re packing in and out for the weekend. Highly recommend this and other Stanley products! The price and performance is second to none!

    Great Quality and Space Saver

Bought this set about a year ago. I’ve used it about 6 times for camping and it is such a great space saver. Everything packs so nicely into the Pot. It’s easy to clean and the stainless steel is good quality. I think I lucked out because I bought it for 50, it was a sale to good to let slip. The bowls are great, I’m ok with their size. It’s the plates that are a little to small. I’ve attached pictures as a reference. The sporks are so convenient, as well as the spatula. They are not heat resistant, so I would be careful leaving them in direct heat. The frying pan is a decent size, I can fry 2 eggs at a time no worries. The one thing about it, is it does not come with a mesh or any cover for traveling. I like to take care of my stuff as much as I can, so not having a mesh was a slight bummer. So I sewed covers for all my Stanley sets when I put them away. They also stack up well in my portable camp kitchen. Overall, this Stanley set deserves 5 stars for me!

Purchase, delivery and item have all met my expectations.

After searching thd entire web I could not find a mess kit that was both practicle and durable as this set and I love it! I’ve watched and read every review before buying it and after trying it I can say that it’s well worth the money. I freaked out when I couldn’t remove dark and brown burn stains but after using a magic sponge, the one topped with a gentle sand paper it was again sparkly clean! Don’t waste time cleaning it any other way…

    Solid bit slightly damaged

Only 1 complaint, 2 small dents in the bottom of the pot. Otherwise a very well built product, we will see how the silverware and spatulas hold up but the product is solid and seems well built. I will write a review once I have used for a while. If they will contact me and replace the pot that would be greatly appreciated. If not I won’t take the initiative to send it back it because I want to use it in the upcoming days. Thanks.

    Great, but not perfect.

This is a great kit for car camping. Solid for 2 or 3 people. Supplement the kit with another skillet or cast iron pan as i have and it can make some solid meals. Plates: yeah they are small. bowls: also small. Sporks: useful in a pinch but just a fork would have been better. Skillet: perfect. Pot: great. Drying rack: really is a nice touch but kind of not necessary. All in all; replace the sporks with forks, toss the shock cord for some real cordage and a cinch buckle. And you’ve got yourself a nice bit of kit.

This set has it all and it’s non-toxic!

It’s difficult to find a good cooking set on the market that is made from good, sturdy materials that are also safe. I used to have the GSI cooking set. It was pretty and nested well….but it was coasted with Teflon (that material just scares me). This is set legit. The entire set packs into one bowl. It’s p lightweight for the number of materials and made from quality stainless steel. I brough it to Burning Man and thought it might not fare well there because the conditions are so harsh, but it worked out so well and magically I had no issues with food sticking to the bottom.

    Nice nesting cook set

This kit is perfect to reduce space and contain the essentials to cook and eat for 2 people. I say two people because it only has 2 sparks. So pick up two more and you have a 4 person cook set. There is room in the pack to add a few things but everything nests nicely.

AWESOME set for family camping and our boy/girl scout trips

To start I had all the needed camping gear to keep a family off the grid for a couple nuclear half lives. The problem is it looked like it has survived at least one of those half-lives already and my wife is more of a clamping person so to get her out of the hotel was going to take some doing. My family is slowly becoming outdoor enthusiasts. As a kid, my family went camping, snow/water skiing probably 3 of 4 weekends all year long. The beauty of living in SoCal. Since then I have had kids and all that slowed quite a bit. I still go on my target shooting and camping trips. Well, my twin 9-year-olds (1 boy 1 girl) and both are in scouts now that has got them off the iPad and outdoors FINALLY!!! We also do other after-school activities. That being said it makes for endless Amazon shopping and trips to local stores as well. The boy and girl scout packs they are in are VERY busy with outdoor activities with my son meeting up 2-3x a month and my daughter’s girl scouts 1-2x a month. So out with the old and in with the new.The Good:1. NOT lightweight. Why is this good? BEcause it will last. The pot and pan are plenty heavy duty while the rest of the stuff is modern plastic so it makes a nice balance for the set.2. This is a CAMPING set, not backpacking set. I have stuff for backpacking, I wanted a family camping set and this is perfect3. Everything is large enough to be user-friendly and small enough to be camping friendly4. You can add the companion set of 24oz Stanley cups and have a REALLY nice set (shown in one of my photos)5. Everything heated nicely and even on our Coleman stove6. Everything cleaned up easy which is a must when camping7. I got this as an Amazon warehouse deal and the price could not be beatThe Bad:Nothing bad to note just yet but I am going to have to buy one more place setting for my 3-year-old but for now its fine. I’m hoping the extra stuff will still fit in the pot.Other Notes:Stanley has been around forever and they stand behind their products. I don’t see why they would be different now. I saw a few negative comments but I always try to read those because often people are to bias or expecting perfection for a discount store price.I will try to answer any questions you have so please feel free to ask.

    Camp cookware

This cookware worked great. Very compact and the frying pan is heavy duty. All worked and easy to store. Better than lugging individual pans and pots.

    Great camping mess ware set!

This is a great all-in-one camping set! Very practical and easy to pack back. The only thing I would clarify is the plates are very small and there are no knives. Other than that we found this set to be excellent. The pot and pan are good sizes. Highly recommend.

Small but gets the job done!

Ordered this set for a camping trip. I love that everything nests inside the pot and takes up a very small footprint in our gear. We had no issues cooking or cleaning any of the dishes and they are sturdy enough to last. An essential set to have for any camper. Happy with this purchase!

if i was single…i’d own this for my home

very well thought and quality cook set with only one disappointment, there is enough room for a fork, spoon, and knife but we only get a spork.as far as the quality, with its multi layer stainless steel construction, this cook set will last a lifetime. highly recommended for any student in a dorm, or any single person looking to save space. i have no complaints with any of the included product other than not having a fork, spoon, and knife.

    Very Impressed

as said by countless others, yes the plates are as big as my hand, but you can’t get a bigger plate in there without using a bigger pot and adding weight. honestly it will work great as when you are camping you don’t have everything you normally have at home, its the whole point. we really like that they can all nest together and everything we need is in one place. we really like adding a dish towel, rag, sponge, etc. as well as spices in old tic tac containers and its an all in one kitchen.

A very compact sturdy cooking set.

I haven’t used it yet but it is a nice compact set. Everything is in one place. It says its a complete kitchen. Except for not having any knives or cups it is. . The pot and frying pan are a good size for camping and heavy duty. The plates are very small about the size of a saucer the bowls are standard size.. The sporks are sporks. The cooking spoon and turner both come as two pieces and you snap the handles to use and off for storage. They seem adequate . All in all I’m happy with this set.

Very, very nice set, the stainless steel is stout and heavy walled. This will last for years. All fits nicely together would br grest for car camping or maybe canoe camping.Only downside is it is probably way to heavy for backpacking. Im very happy, better than i expected!

What a great cookset. I had experimented with two other cook sets before discovering this one. I camp out of my vehicle and travel long distances. I watched the episode of Expedition Overland when the guys were explaining their gear choices. They talked abouy this one, so I bought it. It is perfect for the overland explorer who is travelling by vehicle. It is too have for backpack camping.

    Quarancamping necessity

Covid19 force us to quarantine but at the same time excites us to go camping. This is a very simple space saver sturdy camping gear that everyone should buy and have. It’s the equivalent of Swiss army knife for your camping cooking and dinning needs. You’ll love it.

    Stanley quality

Stanley makes good quality products that are affordable. We love the compactness of this set and use it frequently as we travel and camp. It will be a life long set for us as long as we roam around. Love this product!

Disappointed in all the plastic pieces

I had bought this because of the brand, since they’re known for durability and well-made products. I also like the fact that it was stainless steel rather than aluminum so I knew it would hold up with long-term use. It is a little heavier than what I had originally intended it for, which was our 72 hour emergency pack, so it ended up going into one of my bins to throw in the car for camping and whatnot.I was a little disappointed that the plates and utensils were plastic rather than metal. From the pictures I had assumed they were metal end bought it for that reason. Had I known they were plastic I probably would not have made this purchase. I’m a little concerned as to how the plastic will hold up over time, but I guess we’ll find out. I also think that for the cost plastic seems a little cheap. But oh well.Ultimately it’s a nice compact little kit, and although I wish some of the pieces were better quality, the other pieces seem like they will definitely get the job done and last long term.

Pleasantly surprised that it was larger than expected

I was hesitant because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy a set separately or just go with a compact set like this. I was scared it would be too miniature. Glad I went with this one! It came larger than other compact sets, which was a nice surprise. Everything looks super high quality except for the cooking spoon and spatula which i’m not worried I can just buy another set. This is such a unique set compared to the others since this has a cutting board, dish rack and heat protectant. Overall LOVEE it so far! Excited to use it on the road!

This is a wonderful product and the fry pan has an even heat distrubution. Its a bit heavy and bulky if your planing on bushwhacking / backpacking with this product, however tail gating and car camping this should be your go to gear!

    Great quality

I LOVE this cook set. For years my wife and I used our GSR backpacking kit but we got the Stanley for car camping and group camping. It works awesome, especially the frying pan…nothing sticks to it. It actually works better than our home cookware. Everything packs up nice. I.highly recommend this product.

Definitely worth the purchase even from China

I hate the fact that it’s made in China. I looked all over for something made in the USA and willing to pay more for it, but couldn’t find anything I liked. I do actually love this and glad I bought it. The thick bottom frying pan is awesome. Haven’t used the pot yet which doesn’t have the thick bottom, but it seems good. Love how easily and nicely it nests together; there’s even an an engraved image how to stack it on the cover. Very happy with the purchase. I purchased the Campax red outdoor ditty Bag from Amazon, and it seems to be made perfect for this set!

    Excellent Value

Excellent kit for the price! The pot and pan are great quality with heavy bottoms for even heating and heat retention. Everything stacks together perfectly using the diagram etched on inner lid. Perfect for overlanding excursions and camping etc.The only suggestion for improvement that I have would be to increase the depth of the edge of the plates. With the limited size a deeper rim would accommodate more food options in conjunction with the bowls.Lives up to the Stanley name!

    Fairly good

I like the quality and the way it can be put for storage.decent size and all you need for 4 persons.missing cups, but perhaps it would be too good.

    An excellent starter set

Really a solid basic camp set. The pot and pan are a must for basic cooking. I use a lot of cast iron, but use these for pasta or a grilled cheese. The pan will look used quick, cleaning to the shine is a chore but it’s steel, so that’s normal. The plates are small but useful, the spatula and spoon handy, but not the best. The cutting board works, not onion cutting big though. An overall excellent kit with the pot and pan being the better parts.

    Handy

Used it on a camping trip and was awesome and very handy. I seasoned it very well but food would get stuck on it. I think its because my portable stove gets too hot. Cooking it on a low fire will do the trick.

There is a lock for the handle…

I won’t echo what everyone else has said about the set, other than the plates are incredibly small. But before you use this set understand that there is a little sliding piece on the fold-out handle of the pan that is crucially important. In fact, its importance isn’t really made known through any labels or obvious markings from the manufacturer as the pan will easily support its own weight without the lock. But trust me when I say that once food is in that pan, if you don’t use the lock, instead of enjoying a nice warm bacon and egg breakfast, you be spending the rest of your 32 degree morning cleaning raw eggs and molten bacon grease off your clothes and all of your gear, and possibly extinguishing the fire that started when the grease fell onto your camp stove. Thanks for the memorable experience Stanley.

    Perfect travel set!

We bought this set to cook and eat from while camping out of the back of our 4Runner while hiking the Tetons. It worked perfectly! Everything is very compact, sturdy, and easy to clean up. We used a Jetboil for heat and used it over a campfire, and it worked great either way!Very happy with this purchase!

    Great Cook Set

Recently used during a two week trip to South Dakota and Colorado. Cooked every meal in the set. It cleans up easily and just works well on the stove. I really love the way it packs up.

    Easy to clean

Used these pans for the first time this past weekend and mainly used the skillet for all of our meals. This pan is fantastic. It is easy to clean and using a spray oil made the pan non-stick for fried eggs. Both days we had fried eggs they slid right out of the pan and nothing stuck. I can’t wait to take these out camping again and expanding my menu.

    Great purchase!

I was worried about these being easy to clean, as we have a large family and we eat a lot of meals, so I didn’t want to have to be scrubbing these in between. I was impressed: burnt eggs, caramel sauce, melted marshmallow – all came off with little effort! I’m really happy with this set!

    Best camping purchase!

I freaking love this set! I’ve had a couple different camping cook sets, but I wanted to get something that was stainless steel (not aluminum! bad for cooking food) and lightweight (cast iron is great but heavy) and compact. Everything fits inside of each other SO perfectly for my little OCD mind 🙂 Cleans up pretty easily too. It’s just heavy enough to make me feel like its not cheap and that it will last a lifetime. I can’t rave enough about this product! I wish I had found it sooner. Definitely my favorite camping tool now 😀
