Comfortable for an air mattress bed

We bought this to use as a guest bed when my daughter and her fiancé come to visit. Setup is pretty quick and easy, although the pump started acting up and making weird noises halfway through inflating the bed. The pump started making a high pitched whining noise and didn’t seem to have any air blowing into the mattress. Luckily we had another pump to fill the mattress. The mattress seemed to hold air pretty well over the 9 days it was used, and didn’t need extra air added. The mattress is a bit noisy when you are sleeping on it and shift position, or if one person is on it and the other gets off of it, then it makes some squeaking sounds. The frame is very sturdy, and there was enough room under the bed to store suitcases. Taking the bed apart and deflating the mattress was very easy as well. All in all, this was a very good purchase and worth the price.

Talk about upgrading to glamping with this Queen size cot. As a 200+ lb man. This is a major upgrade from sleeping in the ground in the Army. It worked well throughout the night with my girlfriend sleeping besides me. It lost a little bit of air, but not enough to wake up in the middle of the night to inflate it. I would recommend this cot if traditional cots don’t work for you or if you just want those night time cuddles on cold nights. The inflater it came with could use an upgrade but it works just fine and take approximately 2 mins to intake or deflate respectively. It also could double as a hair dryer if in a pinch. I took some extra D batteries just I case but a set of 4 lasted the entire time on a 5 night camping trip.I would highly recommend purchasing if you’re in the market for a queen size cot.

    This is a great product.

This is a great product…the best cot I’ve ever owned. I took a chance on ordering this despite the very confusing and misleading measurements that were provided by the (very unhelpful) Coleman company. I think Coleman would sell many more of these if they took the time to make the sizing clear. FYI – the actual measurements of this cot are as follows: 71″ long; height of cot part alone is 14″ from the ground; height of the cot plus the inflated mattress is 22″; width of the cot alone is 35″, but the inflated mattress adds about 2 inches to the width. All I can figure to explain the wildly inaccurate width that the company claims, is that they are including the detachable “table” in the overall width, although they do not state that in their literature.

    Perfect accessory for camping

This is perfect to take for camping.Because of health and hip problems, I can’t sleep on the ground when camping, and normal camp cots are still too low to the ground, for me.This cot, with the accompanying airbed that you insert to the attached bed cover, is the height of a regular bed. With the air pump, that comes with the bed, you can pump the air to your own satisfaction, and even be able to close up the plug without any air leaking out (as some plugs do if not closed fast enough). It was easy to both set it up and take it down, and fits nicely into the bag that comes with it.It was great to have the little table insert by my head for my glasses, water bottle, and meds (that are normally on my nightstand by my bed).It doesn’t take up any extra space that a sleeping bag doesn’t take up on it’s own, and, since the bed is raised, it actually saves on space since you can stow bags away underneath the cot.

Best air mattress I’ve ever had

I don’t know what they did with this product but, I was SUPER impressed with it.Between homes, we had a 3-week gap in time where all of our belongings were in storage and needed a temporary sleeping space. We ended up picking this product up so that we were not on the floor and to my surprise, it was better than expected! It makes a lot of noise when you’re moving around on it, but it’s decently comfortable for a combined estimated 450-500 lbs between the both of us.I fully expected the air mattress to deflate during night two like ALL other air mattresses I’ve ever slept on, however, even after three weeks of sleeping on it, it never went flat. Of course it stretched a bit over the first few nights and after adding a little air to top it off, it was perfectly fine. No air mattress is ever comfortable enough to be able to compare to a real mattress, so I’m taking this into consideration with my review.I liked that the mattress is held in place by an attached cover and there’s nothing stopping you from sleeping on the cot without the mattress either. The cot folds up and everything fits back into the bag without struggling to get everything to fit. Bag has carrying handles and wheels on the bottom for easier transport. Comes with an air pump – you will need 4 D batteries. This is an exciting addition to our camping gear, I am overall very happy with this purchase!!

Nice enough for a geezer to like more than their bed.

A+. Super easy to set up. Unfold it and the legs automatically go to the set position. Stuff the air matress in the cot, and remember to pull the valve “OUT/open” and inflate with the included pump. Once the air mattress is full, push the valve in to close it, then close the black bung hole plug. I’ve got the most picky granny that is absolutely OCD nuts, and they loved it. Very sturdy and the perfect height for a geezer to get into and out of. My geezer likes it better than their bed. Who would have thought? If only I could get my granny to stop sucking her teeth all day, every day, for the last 10 years.

    Game Changer!

This cot is unbelievable! It comes with an air mattress and pump but we actually got it just for the cot and it was still cheaper than any other two person cots out there and I’ll bet it’s also better quality. We read reviews about it being noisy but we use it with a memory foam pad instead and it is totally quiet. My husband and I are big people and it feels totally solid and stable. We like to glamp it up when we camp so we have a very comfy place to recharge after hikes, etc. This cot is like the ultimate piece of glampy indulgence. Easy to set up and just like that, no more sleeping on the ground, crawling in and out of bed, sore backs, etc.

Great queen bed mattress and cot!

5 star, BUT there are no set-up instructions for the frame of the cot. There is nothing that snaps into place. We finally figured out that once the mattress is inserted in the protective sleeve and inflated, it keeps the wooden frame in the fully expanded position. I wish the frame had some sor of a lock, even a hook-and-eye style latch. I suppose we could install one…Other than that, it’s a solid sturdy bed. It is comfortable. We tested it with both of us on it, and my tired husband fell asleep in 2 minutes! Two thumbs up!

… met all of our expectations and we’ve been very happy with our Airbed cots

The product met all of our expectations and we’ve been very happy with our Airbed cots. We’ve used them twice for company — One time with teenagers and another time with smaller children. Both times there were no issues with any air leaking out and the kids said the airbeds were very comfortable. The third time we used these was on a camping trip. We forgot to bring the inflator with us, so we just used the cots alone with our sleeping bags on top. Even with just the cots we were both very comfortable. We were happy that the air mattress could be detached from the cot — this means you get two comfortable “beds” for the price of one — a great value. My husband is 6’1 and the cot was just fine for him. The cots seemed very study and they were really easy to set up and folded up and fit in the carrying bags nicely. When put inside the carry bags the airbed/cots don’t take up much room, either. They can easily fit under a bed or hall closet. No wheels, so you have to use the carry strap, but they ar not too heavy, so it wasn’t a problem. These have been a great purchase for us!

This is the most AMAZING camping bed I’ve ever witnessed

This is the most AMAZING camping bed I’ve ever witnessed, and I’ve camped my entire life. Seriously.I’ve backpacked. I’ve glamped. I’ve gone to music festivals, art festivals, burning man regionals… I’ve used/witnessed/borrowed/begged/not-quite-stolen everything under the sun/moon/stars. This beats all of them. Why, you ask?Not only is it up off of the ground, so my 36 year old disabled ass doesn’t have to cry every time I get in and out of my sleeping bag, my suitcase FITS UNDERNEATH THE BED. What?!?!?! Under bed storage. Bam!Then, there’s the cot itself. Yeah, there’s a bar running down the middle. That’s for extra support. Not a huge deal for me, because I’m 5’4 and even though I weigh an impressive 213 for my height, I fit seamlessly into the little pocket between the rods. Mmmmmmnnnn… comfy. And all this is without even adding in the INCLUDED AIR MATTRESS.WHAT?!?!?!??! There’s an included air mattress?????? Yep.But… won’t that just fall off of the cot? Or Fail like Every Other Air Mattress and Ruin the Most Awesome Cot FOREVER??????That’s where the Genius of Coleman comes in, kids. See, it’s not built in like some Cots with Air Mattresses you’ll see out there. Coleman did it the smart way. They added a pocket made out of super soft microfiber material that feels like your favorite Grandmammy’s sheets and zippers open to slide the PREMIUM COLEMAN AIR MATTRESS WITH DOUBLE AIR LOCK MAGICALNESS inside and then you ZIPPER IT SHUT AGAIN, keeping the double zippers close to the air lock just in case you’d like to, I don’t know, adjust the firmness of your mattress later on in your stay because IT DOES NOT LEAK (much) ((at least, not after the first night. that’s any mattress, though)).But wait. There’s more.HOW CAN THERE POSSIBLY BE MORE?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!YOU’VE ALREADY GIVEN US SO MUCH, COLEMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MotherLoving Side Tables, Batman. They snap on right where you want them. With holes for all of your beverage holding needs. And just enough room for a kindle, a phone, and an adult beverage. I would know. And you know what else I know? My survival kit slid Right Underneath the Table!BAM!!More floorspace!!You have no idea how life changing this bed has been for me.And I’ve only gotten to take it on one trip (so far). I’m taking it out again next week. I’m already excited about it.

    Using With Dogs

This was exactly what I was looking for! I’ve camped out twice with it and it holds up nicely with one person and two large dogs. Even with the dogs moving, there was only slight jostling. Everyone slept nicely in this!

Worth it- Cot, Mattress, Inflator- great package. Comfortable, robust, easy

For the price it really is hard to beat- you get a cot plus an airbed. The airbed is not ‘plush’ coated and so is a basic, plastic model, but throw a sheet/ sleeping bag on and you are golden. That said, the cot comes with a cotton sleeve (permanently sewn into the cot) that the mattress slips into providing a covering for the basic, plastic. It works well and the little table is a nice touch. Comfortable, easy to deploy/ take down, solid and robust. So far (10 nights) well worth it.The bed also comes with a Coleman 4 D Cell inflator so dont buy one in addition- this really is a heck of a package, everything you need bar a sleeping bag.

    Great for Glamping

I wish I had taken a photo of this in my tent! It looked great and was so comfortable! I loved how easy it was to set up and take down. The little “bed side table” attachments were a nice touch too. And again, so comfortable! The bar in the middle means two adults are somewhat “separated” by it. But I still found it very comfortable.I used regular queen sheets over top, and a quilt. It looked just like a regular bed! 100% would recommend. I love tent camping, but as I’ve gotten older getting up off the floor is a pain, especially at night for a trip to the bathroom. So having this raised bed was a total winner! And I could sit on it while in the tent too, which was great. We could also use this at home for guests, or take with us when visiting friends or family who have a spare room but no spare bed, or to a vacation house if you need an extra bed.I like that the mattress itself is removable and is a standard queen size camping air mattress. So if anything ever happens to it, you can just replace the mattress and still use the frame.Note that you need to supply 4 of your own D batteries for the pump. I think you could also use a regular plug in pump if you have one.

    Overall satisfied

Took this camping and it was very easy to set up, and very easy to inflate. Dressed it up with sheets and blankets and it felt like glamping (glamour camping). Had no issues holding 400 lbs between 2 people. The side tables were a bit tricky at first but then we realized they were twisted the wrong way. They were very handy to have. The air mattress stops automatically when it’s full and the reverse on the air pump cuts the time in half to deflate. The space under the bed made for great storage to maximize room in the tent. I would say the only con was the cold 36° weather coming from underneath the bed which caused the air mattress to remain cold. Next trip I will try a battery operated heated blanket (keeping in mind of course that the heated blanket doesn’t melt the air mattress). Very glad we bought this!

Great cot for people who hate camping. Terrific customer service.

I hate camping. This cot isn’t perfect, but it makes camp sleeping comfortable and is good enough for in house accommodations for guests. It’s pretty heavy so you wouldn’t want to carry it far. It’s easy to assemble. The sleeve for the mattress is great for keeping the mattress from sliding off the cot – but it would be better if it came off for washing. The pump is a bit weak and uses up batteries at an amazingly fast pace – so bring along extras. The pump is made of light plastic and doesn’t connect firmly to the inflation connection so you do have to hold it during pumping. Like all of the air mattresses it loses air slowly overnight so plan on topping off the air nightly (couple of minutes). It takes much longer to pump up when the batteries are running down. It’s much more comfortable with a thick mattress pad. It is noisy when you move around – we didn’t notice it much when camping outside because of exhaustion and the critter noises, but it’s much more noticeable when sleeping inside where it’s quiet. Ours developed a slow leak that we couldn’t find. Called Coleman and they quickly replaced the mattress for no cost – they reminded us that there was a full one year warranty and said to call back if there was another problem – and then followed-up on the call – great customer service with no fuss or hassle. I was worried that the feet could damage the tent floor, so put a few neoprene mats under the bed – protected the floor, added some insulation and were easy to shake out to keep the interior floor clean. If traveling light, some large rubber furniture cups would probably work to protect the floor and keep the cot from sliding. It was great to be able to stash my big dog’s bed and some other stuff under the cot during the day – kept things tidy and there was more room to walk around. The cot uses up more floor space than I originally thought so measure carefully to make sure the cot will fit with your gear. Picture is 6p tent, Coleman queen bed with down comforter and our big dog’s large coil spring ortho bed.

    Amazing cot! LOVE it!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I am making an exception because this cot is amazing!I go on disaster relief trips and we have to supply our own beds/cots. I had been trying to sort on a twin sized high rise air bed. If I got it firm enough to lie on without sinking in the middle, it was too firm, and would dump me if if I tried to roll over during the night. To make it more comfortable, I would let some air out, which resulted in the bed being less stable and hard on my back. So, I spent lots of time researching and came across this cot. Praise the Lord! I topped it off with a purple cooling mattress pad and it is as comfortable as my select comfort bed, if not more so!Super easy to put up and take down and it doesn’t make any noise when I turn over or move around in bed.Well worth the money.I leave tomorrow for another disaster relief trip and I will try to update after I actually sleep on it for a week or more.

Purchased this cot for a family camping trip. When I got it in I set it up immediately. First off it was extremely heavy for me. I’m a 50 plus female with little body strength. But got it up after a bit. I aired the mattress with the included pump. Mattress didn’t hold air at all. After 4 days of airing the thing up I gave up and called Coleman. First guy I talked to said no problem. Took my information had me send him pictures, which he had before call ended, and told me to look for replacement mattress. Got the new one in two days ago and works wonderfully. I did replace the pump with a rechargeable one that is more efficient. After opening and closing it I think I’ve got it. Seems easier now than the first time. Mattress sits high enough for my husband and I to get in easily. Mattress is comfortable and cot is sturdy enough for 2 stocky adults and dog.

I can actually sleep while camping

I’m getting older, and my kids are at a great age for camping. But those air mattresses that lay on the ground are just not comfortable, and are hard to get in and out of. This cot is a great height to sit on, and the mattress is pretty comfortable (all things considered. I still appreciate my bed at home).I am almost 5’4″ and around 155 lbs, my husband is about 5’9″ and is probably closer to 250 lbs. When we’re both on the mattress I feel that we’re both pretty balanced. When he gets out of bed before me I can feel my side of the mattress dip because of the loss of his weight, but I don’t end up touching the frame, and the adjustment isn’t so much that it wakes me up if I’m asleep. And I’m still comfortable without needing his weight back on the bed.I do appreciate that this sets up and takes down pretty quickly, and we can actually fit the mattress and stand back inside the bag that came with it. However, it’s fairly heavy, so I have a hard time lifting it in and out of the back of our SUV, but I’m also not very tall. Once it’s out though I can carry it to where it needs to go with little problem.

    Worth every cent.

Our first trip with this bed was great. It stayed inflated through the night. Comfortably fit my husband, 3-year-old daughter and myself. Being elevated off the ground made the camping experience a little VIP. 😃 One drawback is that it is pretty heavy BUT it is an acceptable trade-off for a sturdy bed in my opinion.

Exactly what we were looking for!

Exactly what we were looking for! After going through multiple air mattresses, we decided to look into cots. We were a little apprehensive , but we knew this would also work as a cot if anything happened to the mattress. We camped out on it in the living room to try it out! This thing is so comfortable. There is a noise others have talked about from everything moving around. but just from general roll around noise neither of us were bothered by it. We didn’t use the Air pump included , we have a plug in one we used. But we will keep that one in case we need a battery powered one.If you sleep on the cot without the mattress there is a bar that runs between both sides. With the air mattress on it though you don’t even notice the bar.

    Perfect height,little noisey,easy inflate/deflate

Very comfortable, stand puts it at a perfect height to get on and off and makes extra storage under. It is kinda noisy when moving around but not aweful but can be heard. Super easy to inflate and deflate feature makes mattress nice and flat for easy folding and storage. Side table great feature but not in the greatest location to fit in a tent it would be nice to have the option of putting it at the head or foot. It fits nicely in the storage bag I took the advice of others of putting the air mattress on top after the frame is in which has worked out great. Negative….it is a one person job but I highly recommend 2 people setting it up taking down. It’s doesn’t easily go into place. When folded up it is in half so you need to unfold each side.tgere is no locking feature to ensure it is in place.the feet are not tent friendly so if you move it you have to lift it so you don’t tear the tarp. And the sheet attached is genius to keep the mattress in place but you can’t take it off to wash it and it’s a cream color so any dirt or stains show however it is soft. make sure you use fitted sheets over it. It is almost the size of an ez up tent so it’s big and bulky to travel with but worth it. Overall I am extremely happy and plan to use for overnight guests at home as well as camping

Wrap the poles in moleskin to fix the squeaking!

Update used two more times this summer and it still makes noise. In all honesty I very much dislike it for this reason however I will keep working on a solution as I love the idea of not sleeping on the ground.Bought this and used it once and OMG the noise it made as you rolled around. Nothing kinky just general movements. I was embarrassed for the tents next to us and spent the night afraid to move to get comfy. Return home from camping and read reviews and see a suggestion to wrap poles in moleskin tape. Tried to go easy and bought a foam mattress pad to lay under the air mattress in the casing and still made noise. It is the actual canvas on the poles that makes the noise. The MOLESKIN IS A GAME CHANGER!! 6 rolls of tape later on amazon for like 5 bucks a box and there is no noise. We leave next week to camp and I am excited. We plan to use this a lot but debated returning due to all the squeaking. Thanks Katelyn for your review/suggestion.

    More than a camp cot

I purchased this camp cot to use as I recovered from knee surgery. The package arrived in promised time & damaged free. It’s a bit heavy must be handled with and extra pair of hands when removing from its packing. Once removed it’s an easy set up as you can see in the picture. I purchased the Queen Size, it’s very sturdy & it’s large enough for 2 people to fit and sleep comfortably. The weight limit is 800 lbs which is good. The frame is put together no building necessary just set up & inflate the mattress. The frame is sturdy and there’s and attached sheet on the frame to secure the inflated mattress. I used this camp cot for 2.5 weeks & didn’t have any problems, you just have to inflate the mattress here & there as explained in the instructions. It’s some what comfortable, it served its purpose and I believe it’s for what it’s used (camp cot). Good value for the $$$. It’s packed like an portable gazebo, the case has a handle & 2 little wheels so it’s easy to transport but a little heavy to carry or pick up. Oh and the inflator that comes with this camp cot is battery operated. Hope this review helps, enjoy your purchase

    Love it!

I got the twin size and this takes like 5 minutes to set up and I love it. So comfortable and I added sheets and a sleeping bag and it’s like being in bed at home. I’m a heavier person and my back hurts if I sleep on the ground. I tried other cots and they weren’t wide enough. This is perfect and the side table for drinks and my phone is great. I love the battery powered pump to inflate and deflate. If I had one complaint is that it’s a bit heavy for a woman to carry. I wish the bag had wheels like the queen version does. But overall, I love it!

    Happy Camper!

Talk about a happy camper! This is probably my best camping purchase ever. Once you have this bad boy you can never go back to sleeping on an air mattress on the floor. Not only was this super comfy, there’s lots of room for storage underneath, keeping your tent floor tidy. Coleman thought of everything on this one, it’s easy to inflate the mattress and slip it in its sleeve, which keeps it from rolling around on the cot. Also has a quick pump to inflate and top off. Don’t forget the 4D batteries! Had no issue with feeling a bar underneath that some reviewers had. It is heavy but worth every extra ounce. Surprisingly easy to set up too. Just buy it, you won’t regret it, and be a happy camper like me!

    Surprisingly comfortable

I am a large lady and was looking for something that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg to use for a week when I had company after looking at a lot of different products I saw this and I thought when I was a kid we did a lot of camping and we used old Army cots and I said to myself if I could sleep on those I could probably use this its just for a week and it has an air mattress to boot so why not give it a shot and it came with a bag about the size of a golf bag easy to store and all you need is a corner in a closet and everyone has one of those. This worked perfectly for me the air stayed in the mattress for the whole week and I found rolling over on my side was no problem at all so any person that has a few aging issues I think you would be surprised how comfortable it really is. I would buy it again.

    I love this bed!

I should have bought one of these a long time ago! It is heavy, but I wouldn’t expect a queen size cot, not to be. It comes in a wheeled case, making it not terribly difficult to move. It’s solid and sturdy. I did notice the flimsy stitching in the mattress holder that may one day need some attention, but a simple needle and thread would fix it right up. All in all, I highly recommend this thing, especially, if like me, you have had to replace several air mattresses, because of leaks (This gets them up off the ground away from sharp objects). Lastly, if you do get a leak, these single height mattresses are cheap compared the the bigger ones, and you still get to be up off the floor.

    Love it!

I’m going to give you the good and honest truth… are you ready? Ok.This bed gets the job done. If you need a place to sleep, other than on a cold hard floor or some damp underbrush… then this is for you. Things this bed will not do:1. Cure your lumbar stenosis and chronic back pain2. Grow your hairline back to youthful times3. Be a talking piece for visitors in your living roomLet’s have realistic expectations. This is a cot… it’s not a Serta or a Tempurpedic. There is no memory foam in it. It doesn’t have gels and spring coils that adjust to your weight and body heat. This is an air bed on a cot. It sets up rather quickly and efficiently, everything about it makes sense. It’s a space saver, it travels well, stores well, it even looks attractive. I love that the air bed fits neatly into a zippered sheet attached to the cot. I love being elevated off the ground a reasonable bit which makes getting in and out of the bed effortless, also lifts you up above from the goodnessknowswhats… I use this bed at work, because when I work the night shift I like to lay down and since my employer refuses to budge on giving me access to a sleep room I had to make it work. I actually like this bed better that the bed in the call room because at least I know where it has been and I can assure the sheets are clean and haven’t been washed in a chemical waste of toxic detergents. I sleep good at night.I’m 5’11 and 138 pounds. My feet’s hang off the edge but I’m still comfortable. I could be upright in a chair bobbing my head back and forth. It’s been three nights and I’m leaving work every morning with a smile from ear to ear, staff says I’m glowing, little do they know ;)The air pump, looks like a toy, but who am I to judge. It hasn’t failed me yet, when it does I’ll let y’all know. For now… I’m going to sleep.

    Great camping bed!

We got this to replace our tall Queen air mattress we normally take camping. I kind of had to figure out how to put it together, but it’s pretty self explanatory. Upright the cot part, the fitted sheet is attached, slide air mattress in with inlation outlets at the open end, zip shut, inflate. It took me a minute to realize that I had to pull the nozzle out further, it was kinda suctions to the plastic so the air wasn’t going in well. The Night stand pieces were cool to have and easy to attach. Unplanned, we LOVED the underbed storage we could utilize. Only went on one 5 night trip but it held up great, only added air once.

    So comfy!

I don’t know how easy it is to fold, because I haven’t taken it down since I set it up two weeks ago. The blower is slow, but the AC blower from my cheap blow up mattress works for blowing and sucking, too, so, yay! This cot is working well as a guest bed, and my cats love it (and, so far, have not pierced the mattress. Being able to zip the mattress into a slip is wonderful. We’ve only had one person sleeping on it so far, so not sure how it would sleep 2 people.

3 week camping and the bed did very well

I was on an archeological excavation for 3 weeks. We camped the whole time next to a river. I hate camping, but I sometimes have to do it. The cot held up very well and I only needed to top off air every few days.It sets up very easily and collapses easily. Buy good batteries for the air pump, though, bc it drains them quickly. Personally, I found Duracell to be the best. The only weird thing, was it was hot during the day and as the night cooled, the humidity rising from the river greatly increased. If I was on my back, I’d be sticky on my front side, but cold underneath me as the air temperature decreased. l had a mattress pad on plus sheets. What finally helped eliminate the strange temperature dichotomy was placing a beach towel underneath the mattress pad. This product worked very well and except for the odd temperature contrast, I slept well each night. The bed was comfortable and no more noisy than the whipperwills that called out from 9:30 PM to 4:30 AM EVERY SINGLE night. Ha. Earplugs.

    Using With Dogs

This was exactly what I was looking for! I’ve camped out twice with it and it holds up nicely with one person and two large dogs. Even with the dogs moving, there was only slight jostling. Everyone slept nicely in this!

An amazing product. Slept like a baby. My Husband had a triple bypass and our bed was too high for him to get into without a lot of pain after he came home from the hospostal. He also has fused spines so his back hurt him to. Well, I saw thi bed on line at Amazon looking for some solution to our problem. Said to myself, what do o have to lose, right? OMG, This bed solved all our problems right down to the size. Easy for a 70 yr old to put up, easy to move around, great mattress, so we’ll made. My Husband weighs 235 and it had no problem holding him up in comfort. I did buy a thick mattress pad and put a nice thick blanket between the mattress and pad for xtra comfort. The I bought a cot size bottom sheet and I pulled it all the way down under everything to keep all in place. Got a single comforterfor it and he was as snug as a bug in a rug. This is a great xtra bed for home or camping. If you don’t consider this purchase and are looking for an xtra bed for whatever reason, then it is your loss. I give it a 10+. Saved my honey!!!

    Comfortable and sturdy.

I bought this in like new condition for our stay down in southern Missouri for Rally in the 100 Acre Wood and we reserved a 3 day weekend spot in Echo Bluff State Park. Only thing we could find wrong with it was the bag had a broken foot, so it was perfectly fine, still in all the new packaging. It was so comfortable. We unpacked it and aired up the mattress with the included inflator. Since it came folded up and was brand new, we anticipated having to air it up again after stretching out and did once more before we went to bed. It didn’t really feel like it lost much, if any, air in the morning when we got up. We aired it up just a bit both of the other nights before we slept, but it wasn’t hardly deflated either time. I just want a firmer bed.The frame opened easily and was sturdy and held us no problem. Didn’t get to try the side tables out, but when I opened one to look at it, it locked open and was study. I’d put my phone, glasses, and maybe even my camera (a hefty Canon 5D MkII w/battery grip) on it with confidence. The inflator will also vacuum out the air to speed up the packing process and the frame folded back up easily. So glad I ordered this and it’s going to be a permanent camping item now.

    Camping or Spare Bedroom!

So I bought this to go inside our tent because we wanted to be off the ground and I figured this was about the same price as cots but included a mattress so why not just get this? Great choice if I say so myself. Set up is easy enough for one person to do themselves. I set it up as soon as we got it to ensure there wasn’t anything wrong with it. Really durable and set up was a breeze. I love that the pump is battery operated because we don’t have a plug in to use while camping. I bought rechargeable batteries to be a little more eco friendly. I love that mattress is contained so it doesn’t slide off from tossing and turning in the night. We’ve decided it’s so comfy that we would use it for guests at our house too. Oh ya, the side tables are a nice additional along with the bag that’s easy to carry to the car. Our coleman tent has lasted more than 10 years so I’m hoping this is just as good quality!

    Great product!

Great product. Easy to set up. I’ve read reviews of people stating that it is heavy and it is only 44lbs. The carry handle would be better positioned on the other side of the carry case in order to roll the case using the wheels the easiest way. You can still use the handle to roll it as is but it is harder. We set this up in under 2 mins and had it up for 24 hrs. We slept on it and it mostly kept its air. There is a sound when moving but it isn’t any different from any other blow up mattress sound. I read reviews on how to muffle it but nothing worked for us. That being said, I slept well on it. Take down was easy too but I can see where if you don’t flip it over and move the fabric out of the folding frame, you could easily fold in the fabric and rip it. We took the mattress out and folded it up on top of the cot and everything fits nice back into the carry case. Would highly recommend this product.

Pleasant Surprises: Easy Setup, Comfortable and the Weight Could Be Divided in Two.

We have been tenters for years, sleeping on a queen size air mattress on the ground in what is called humorously a six-person tent. The mattress fit with about a foot on each side and at the bottom. (Ther is no bigger hype than tent sizes… a four-person tent is a minimum for a couple anywhere it might rain.)We like to sleep together. Recently her knee issues have made getting off the ground painful and difficult, requiring help. Add to that occasional mid-night bathroom trips and it was even more inconvenient. This cot, with its foot-high height, worked perfectly to solve those issues. When it arrived I was initially concerned with the weight; the whole package is a heavy 45 pounds. It has its own canvas case, with small wheels, similar to those on pop-up shelters, but not much help on campground grass and dirt. When we opened the box the pleasant surprise was that all that weight was divided between the frame and the quite substantial (read heavy) air mattress. The mattress itself weighs 12 to 15 pounds, leaving the frame itself a more reasonable (about) 30 pounds. The next nice surprise was that the frame simply unfolded, almost by itself. No troublesome braces or hooks or rods to put in place. Once unfolded it was easy to position. (We had looked at some single cots that required sitting on the ground and pulling stretch-bars to tighten the canvas. This was much easier.) The design is such that our weight on the cot works to stretch the frame and canvas, minimizing any sag.Once the frame was in place it was an easy task to put the mattress in its pocket and inflate it. It comes with an inflator that uses four D cells (not included.)When we got it up we realized some other advantages… we could store stuff under the cot, stuff that, when we were on the ground, used to crowd us. It also comes with small two snap-in shelves with bottle holders, nice for a water bottle and a flashlight.Sleeping on it:There is a bar down the middle we thought might be a comfort issue. It really wasn’t. The mattress was deep and firm enough to make it only marginally noticeable. Until we got this I didn’t realize how much more enjoyable tenting could be being able to sit up and stand up from the bed.Particularly a bed that is so easy to set up.When we broke camp a few days later I simply separated the mattress and inflator into a separate pack… a spare daypack we had hanging around.Five stars on this one for our purpose!.

Great Product, nice support for my back.

My wife talked me into going camping again.I loved going camping as a kid and teenager but I had back surgery several years ago and sleeping on the wrong surface can really make me miserable for a few days after. I was extremely skeptical that this product would offer enough support for me. I have slept on air mattresses before and been almost useless and in pain for a couple of days after. We bought 2 of these and went to a campground that wasn’t too far from home in case my back did what i expected it to do. The set up was pretty easy, although I recommend you do it at least once before it’s dark and you are in the tent trying to set these up right before you go to bed. The do make a little noise as you move around in the night, but I woke up with no back pain at all. We ended up staying for 4 nights and I didn’t have any issues with my back. I did have to add air the second night but the instructions warn you about this as the material supposedly stretches a bit the first time you use them.I wish I had these long ago. They do take up quite a bit of room in the tent so you should probably put your tent up and see how they fit fully inflated before heading out, you may need a bigger tent. Our four man tent could really only sleep two people with these in the tent. The carry case is nice, but you need to pay close attention how everything is folded up and fits in the case. We ended up putting the air mattresses in and extra tote and not back in the carrying case. I could have made it fit, but the stress on the zippers on the case was worrying me that I would tear the case or break one of the zippers trying to force everything back in.

Next best thing to bringing your bed with you

I like camping but I hate sleeping on hard ground with rocks in your back. I have tried different mattresses and cushions but they just take a slight edge off and you end up rolling off of them in the middle of the night half the time. I was going to scout camp for a week with my son and there was no way I was going to spend it on the ground each night. I first was looking at normal cots to use with just a pad and sleeping bag, then I found this new glorious addition to my camping setup. It is not the actual size of a normal queen mattress but it is not far off either. The battery operated pump that comes with it makes blowing this up a breeze and had it up in a matter of minutes. The pump can also be used to suck out all of the air at the end of your trip as well. I was a little hesitant about sleeping on the frame of this thing because it doesn’t look very sturdy. But dint have any problem holding my 250 lbs and my son for the week. I wouldn’t go jumping on it or anything but it seemed sturdy and didn’t have any issues. The only downside with the mattress was the fact that it looses air with use, but I have never met any one of these things that doesn’t loose air. Every night before bed I would just top it off with the pump for a few minutes and it was good to go. It is obviously not as comfortable as a normal bed but it was the best camping experience I have ever had. Didn’t wake up with sore bodies and with the sheets and blankets we added, it was almost just like home.

    Best Air Mattress Coleman Has

I am smiling as I review this. It’s so great guys. I have owned and popped 3 Coleman double high queen air mattresses. Could never figure out how and where they popped. I owned one with the motor in the mattress and one with a portable motor. Didn’t matter, they popped. Never found where the leak was. Then this caught my eye. And it works AMAZINGLY! Such an easy set up. My bags fit under the bed. We ended up only using one of the side tables because the cot is huge with both side tables up and our tent supposedly fits 2 queen air mattresses… But let me tell you, we slept on this for 2 nights and did not fill it back up with air. Although it lost some air, most likely from the expanding rubber from being brand new, we still slept comfortably. Even when my boyfriend got up off the cot and I was left to sink down on the cot, because I didn’t sink to the floor, it did not hurt and was still comfortable! I am amazed. I will never sleep on anything other than a cot ever again. Best air mattress I’ve ever had. Now let’s hope it is still fine after multiple camping experiences!

Super Comfy, sturdy, sets up and takes down quickly and easily, has really nice carrying bag.

My wife and I LOVE this bed. It is extremely comfy, and it is so nice to be up off the ground. It comes with a nice bag. Most importantly, it folds up with ease, and fits in the carrying case without any fuss. You can pack it up in under 60 seconds. The side tables are kind of silly, we’ve never actually used them. But I can’t stress enough how well designed this is. It sets itself up as you unfold it. There is a vinyl air mattress covered by a thin fabric that you zip up, so you’ll never have your skin against plastic. I had a concern that the little feet would stress the tent floor but it didn’t seem to be an issue. As far as I am concerned, this is the best camping cot you could ever have.

    The best camping bed ever!

A friend of mine asked me to grab a hoodie out of her tent on a camping trip in May and I saw that she had this beauty. I loved the convenience of underbed storage so I bought one before the next trip.I’ve been sleeping on air mattresses on camping trips for years and it almost always ends the same no matter how good the mattress is: you and your sleeping partner in a sweaty crevice in the middle of the mattress, maybe partly touching the ground. Not fun. With this bed that will never be a problem again! We had even support across the whole bed so we could sleep comfortably on our own sides of the bed or cuddle in the middle without ending up in a hole. It was seriously the best sleep we’ve had camping. Also you would never know there even was a bar in the middle. I just just bought it because we were buying a new tent that didn’t have little side rooms for storage and I thought the underbed storage (which is every bit as awesome as I thought it would be, by the way) would be a perfect way to keep our tent reasonably organized. Who knew I was also buying a solution to what I assumed was an unsolvable problem! Now I sleep almost as well in my tent as I do in my bedroom. (Because the sun doesn’t eventually turn my bedroom into a sauna. Lol)

    Nice camping upgrade!

We’ve only used this twice, but found it to be a great upgrade from just using an air mattress! It’s sturdy. We like being up off the ground and able to sit on it just like a bed at home. It was comfortable to sleep on and every morning we woke up glad to have bought this!Even so, it is a little awkward and heavy to move around in the tent. Of course we couldn’t get the mattress back into the carrying case, and decided that’s probably for the best so we don’t puncture or rip it.

    Yep, it’s heavy.

OK – this thing is heavy. It tells you right on it, it’s designed for 2 people to lift/carry. You are not taking this backpacking. If you have back problems, don’t try lifting this by yourself. Just don’t. But me being fairly healthy for my age – and with a healthy dose of stupidity, I did lift it by myself and carry it around, because it’s certainly doable.I must have missed the full description of this item because I was extremely pleased to discover it came with a bag that has wheels on it. Coleman knows it’s heavy and acted accordingly. So one person can tow/roll it around in a campsite/campground.I bought it for extended car camping with my wife (we like our comfort but are too cheap to buy an RV), but I think it would also be stellar as a guest bed that stows very nicely just about anywhere without taking up much room.I will update if I discover any problems with it – or if I find something else about it I like well enough to include here.

Broken zipper – can’t open bag – Coleman fixed the issue

I ordered this cot on June 2 for my camping trip this weekend (june9-12). I got the cot June 5. When I got it, I immediately tried to open it to ensure everything was there but I couldn’t open the bag – Why? Because the second zipper was bent. The minute I tried the actual zipper portion came off from being bent. The package was up right on my front door not on the zipper so I don’t know how it was bent. I immediately emailed the company with the pictures and am now requesting a replacement bag so I can just cut this one open. I have not heard from them so if they respond I’ll update my review. Very disappointed that I can’t even get inside to check this out.UPDATE: I reached out to Coleman and submitted the photos attached. Coleman responded next day and the following day I now have a new cot for free in my way to me. The cots have a one year warranty so please – if you have an issue and it’s past the return date – reach out to Coleman. They are a great company! Will update after first use.

    Can’t go wrong

This is not for the meek it is a tank in the best possible way what I mean is it is built with quality materials and construction in mind it is 49lbs but remember about 15lbs is the air mattress I did in fact put a one one sided adhesive felt on the from where the canvas meets the frame was not hard to do I also bought a queen zippered mattress cover. We did not find any issues with mattress losing much if any air all in all my wife and I loved this unit and slept as comfortably as if we were home will never again go camping without it.

I think this will work great in the yurt I got. I am a member of the 30 something disabled ass group and I’m here to say I’m excited about this bed. Picture of my Great Dane and me acting like we don’t have enough room on this bed. I’m comfortable but she just got up, I don’t know if it’s because she’s uncomfortable or because I’m on my phone. (She’s worse than my ex wife. So jealous 🙄) I agree it should have a lock on it for when using without the air mattress. I bought a sleeping pad to go on top of the air mattress to help the puncture issue with my Great Danes nails that are like talons. I’ll update after use.**update** I got everything in and I decided that buying a double size def inflating sleeping mat was a great idea. I put it on top of the air mattress inside the zipper sheet and put a thick fleece blanket on top of that and then inflated the air mattress. It all fits snug and tight and actually helps with the noise. I feel confident it won’t pop with the dogs claws now. One final tweak I might make because my sleeping bag is slick and doesn’t stay put, is bungee the bottom part of my sleeping bag (it’s a double and can separate to a bottom and top piece). The air mattress didn’t LEAK but it did stretch. We slept in it last night and I woke up to a little sag, but that’s why I’m doing all this now hoping it will be broken in by the time I get to camp. I will add I am super happy Coleman made this to where the air mattress is separate and is a standard size so you can easily replace it in case something happens.

    Just the absolute worst.

This is cot/air mattress is the pinnacle of horrendous craftsmanship ruining what could be a decent product. There are so many reasons to avoid this at all cost.- The cot can not lock in place, and due to the manner in which it folds up the supports constantly collapse, resulting in an uneven and uncomfortable sleeping surface.- The mattress can’t get more than mildly inflated and then leaks, and the because the cot fabric cannot get properly taut (due to lack of locking mentioned above) you end up sagging into the two sides.- The fabric of the cot and the vinyl air mattress are incredibly loud when touching, so repositioning yourself trying to find some semblance of comfort sounds like elephant farts and will wake up anyone in the vicinity.- The carrying case that it comes in is incredibly flimsy – one of the two support pegs fell off when rolling in down a smooth wooden hallway, and the fabric ripped in several places under the weight of the cot.- The built-in wheels in the cover/case are useless, as the bag collapses and they buckle from the weight of the cot monstrosity.- Despite being incredibly flimsy and falling apart, this is crazy heavy and incredibly awkward and clunky to maneuver and set up.I recommend buying this only if you plan on using for guests you feel extreme malice towards.

Heavy duty for a heavy dude…

I slept on one of these every night for 4 months. I was thoroughly impressed not only with how comfortable it was, but how durable. I am not a small person, and it took everything I threw at it. Excellent investment in camping comfort!

    Rubber Balloon Sound SOLVED!!

Rubber Ballon Sound SOLVED!! (Skip to end for quick solution) So… After camping for a weekend and being afraid to move to minimize the loud balloon sound… We searched for answers to this. We tried wrapping the bed frame in moleskin as other suggested, honestly not worth the work. Finally realized the blown up mattress is rubbing against the zip sleeve that holds it on the cot. I can see how keeping it out of the Zip cover would help as others mentioned, but then it’s not holding it on the cot nicely. SO… we thought to put some material in between the two… first a fitted sheet, this was better… but then ended up buying a cheap zip cover to put ON the whole blowup mattress (the hypoallergenic kind) and THEN (slightly deflated) put that in the zipped sleeve of the cot. This solved it!! We are currently camping with a 2 year old 3 feet away and no issues with noise making! :)Long story short, Go to Walmart and spend a few bucks on a hypoallergenic mattress sleeve, put it on your blowup and then secure it on the cot. Minus one star for all the extra work! 😂

Comfortable and Sturdy – Best Night’s Sleep at a Festival in Years

I’m very pleased with this purchase. My boyfriend and I shared this cot for a 3-night festival-type event in 90F+ weather that we’ve attended for the past 8 years and we’ve never slept better! Despite the heat and humidity, we were very comfortable. The air mattress worked great, I did have to add a little air after a few nights, but that is not uncommon for air mattresses in general. It stayed inflated through the night which is what matters most to me! Not to mention that you could probably use just the cot without the air mattress. The side table was clutch being that I am both an eyeglass and night guard wearer; I didn’t have to worry about stepping on my glasses when getting out of bed.As other reviews state, it is on the heavier side, but that’s to be expected as this isn’t some cheapy plastic structure. As long as you’re not trying to carry 10 things at once, this was really not that bad to handle by myself (and I’m no body builder). I feel like this cot will last us many years. The wheeled bag is a nice touch and I had no problems with rips or tears yet.

    Easy to assemble, comfy

First of all this is a camping cot so don’t expect a temperpedic style bed in a bag. I had a house guest pop in for a week so I felt the couch just wasn’t going to cut it. Having a bed show up at my doorstep was amazing. It was super easy to assemble (Don’t forget to order 4 DD batteries for the pump so you have them to inflate your new bed) I recommend that you blow up the bed in the bed sleeve not out of it then try and insert it. It was comfy we added a feather bed topper and I almost had a new family member. So if you don’t want yoyr guests to stay long keep it simple don’t add any extras and it’s an ok nights sleep(best adviced for house guests).

    Great product

Have started camping this year and used this twice so far with 2 more camping trips sched this summer. Very comfy, and great to have the under bed storage area to keep personal items neatly out of the way. We add more air every night for firmest surface with air pump included, (use to deflate also when taking down) which we keep handy under the bed. Heavy to carry, but the comfort is worth it. Side tables are nice idea, but without a hard surface, not super practical. More useful when you put a small cutting board or other hard surface on top of them. We use regular queen bed sheets and down comforter. Overall, would highly recommend. For extra comfort in summer, we use our boat battery with inverter to run a fan at the foot of the bed since we use nonelectric camp sites.

    Wonderful Bed

This camping bed is the greatest. It is as comfortable as my bed at home. It is really easy to set up and take down. The battery powered air pump is handy and very fast. Bed, air mattress and pump go back into the bag very easily with room to spare, unlike most bags that you have to try to cram whatever came out of it back into the bag. I would give this 10 stars if I could. We are in our 70s and just got back from a week tent camping. We slept like rocks. The bed is as tall and firm as a regular bed and just as easy to get out of. (Especially good when you have to go bad in the middle of the night)

Huge upgrade, should have not cheaper out in the first instance.

Excellent bed. Prior to this we were using a double height queen air mattress. This cot is super easy to set up, unpacked and ready to inflate in no more than two minutes, inflated and sleep ready in less than five.Since the air mattress is thinner it is more comfortable through the night as the air cools as the cot provides support, not like sinking 6” into a double high air mattress.Comfort is excellent, a few multi night camping trips have left me without back pain (unusual with our other air mattress). The only gripe so far is that the storage case needs a solid base as the four feet on the corners of the case are larger than the cot folded up and it is unsteady if left standing on end.If something were to happen to this bed I would buy another without hesitation!

Solid value I would buy it again!

Easy setup. It took less than 10 minutes to completely set up and inflate. I partially inflated the mattress then slid it into the cover before fully inflating. I think this made it easy to slide in to the cover. Then fully deflated it using the pump before taking it out to repack it. I am 235 lbs and it felt sturdy to me. Nice attention to detail with covers over all knobby or snaggy parts. The storage bag is big enough to repack everything without having to be a professional packing engineer. I do wish there was a packing cover for the mattress itself but it seems safe enough in there. I’m going to put it in a pillow case in the future just to be safe. Great sleeping like others have said and a solid value for the money. Its like the cost of a night stay in a motel but now you have permanent comfort.

    Comfort for camping and home!

Seriously the BEST things ever!!! Bought two of these for a camping trip, but these are so nice that they are great for house guests. They blow up easily and the zippered pocket keeps the mattress in place. The cots have plastic feet that will not damage your tent floor! Highly recommend!

I am not as young as I once was either and the thought of avoiding sleeping on the cold hard ground sounded good to me too

I got this as a surprise for my wife who grew up “motor-home” camping and took a big step backward for our family by roughing it in a tent with me and the boys. I am not as young as I once was either and the thought of avoiding sleeping on the cold hard ground sounded good to me too. We all thought it was great. It was very easy to set up and to take down. It got miserably cold during our trip so at one point, me, the wife, the 3 year old, and our infant were all sleeping together in it and though it was crowded, we were all able to sleep in it pretty well. There are 2 reasons for not giving it 5 stars. First, the feet seem like they might be pretty rough on the tent floor. In the future we will take some carpet or something to lay down under them to prevent damage to the tent. Our two nights on it did not cause any visible damage but it just seems like it might after prolonged use. Second, the air mattress seemed to lose a bit of air by the end of the trip. This might be partially our fault. I brought a 12 volt inflator that I owned to avoid buying D batteries for the inflator that comes with the mattress, This meant that once camp was set up we couldn’t reinflate the mattress because we didn’t have a long enough power cord to reach it. Next time I will use the included battery-powered inflator and see if that helps. The plus side is that even if the mattress completely fails it will still be a pretty comfortable 2 person cot. I wouldn’t recommend putting the whole family on it without the mattress however as there is a bar that runs top to bottom in the middle of the cot. Overall, I highly recommend this cot.

    Better When Modified

***UPDATE (modifications made!) *** The bed is VERY noisy when you or your partner rolls over (the two of us combined is just over 300lbs). Me and my boyfriend use it camping and we woke each other up every time we rolled over, and both of use move a lot when we sleep. The bed frame is very sturdy though and is comfortable to sleep on. He is 6’1″ and i am 5’6″. It was perfect length for me but he said it s a little short for him. Definitely smaller than a real queen size bed as I put a queen sheet on it and it was baggy.******** I now love this bed after a few modifications! I bought 2 rolls of 2″ by 5 yard moleskin adhesive tape (friction tape) took the bed mostly apart and wrapped the poles that touch ANY fabric on it and the bed doesn’t make a noise now! I had actually contemplated getting rid of the bed because I couldn’t stand how noise it was but now it is a keeper. I used two rolls and was a little short and had to improvise so get 3 rolls just to be safe.******

Finally a cot for the ages…

So comfortable! I have owned airbeds and cots…now I have both all in one and it’s the best of both worlds. Problems with airbeds: 1. They tend to deflate due to abrasions from the underside or from the seams. 2. If there are 2 (or more) people on an airbed, they tend to all wind up rolled together near the heaviest person. 3. If the airbeds are tall then you get this “balancing act” feeling when you are moving around on top of them. 4. The squeak and smell of plastic. 5. No storage underneath effectively reducing the capacity of your tent. Cot problems: 1. They tend to be heavy and bulky. 2. They tend to bow toward the middle in an arc like a slack rope hangs. 3. Hanging an arm off the edge is uncomfortable as there is a hard metal frame there. 4. Most are narrow. This cot/airbed solves a lot of those problems brilliantly:The airbed part is not tall enough to require the balancing skills of an acrobatIt’s wider that many airbedsIt does not rest on the rocks that you assuredly will drag into your tentIt has a sewn in sheet that contains the plastic of the airbed to reduce the squeaks and keeps the airbed securely in placeThe cot part allows storage underneath itDoes not bow like a hammockHas comfortable edgesIs not narrowPacks up into a surprisingly small (and very nice) carrying case which fits everything in it easilyProvides a handy little table for keys. wallets, drink etc.My wife even recommends these, and you know how she can be.Just buy it.

    great product

FYI: I just received and “tested” in my house yesterday. I will try and update review after more use.PROS:Built sturdy and worth $130 (it’s heavy, but that’s a “PRO” in my book, might not be good for elderly or weak).Side tables are nice addition (I assumed they were ‘gimmicky’). I’m surprised how well they work; held a 10lb dumbell! (although will probably bend metal if left for extended time). Very cool addition.Air mattress felt comfortable, filled up quickly; couple minutes at most. No instructions needed, very easy to set everything up.CONS:Pump nozzle does not fit snug into mattress hole. Therefore you must hold connection. Not too big of a deal since it fills quickly.Light stitching is very stressed at corners as mattress inflates inside of it, expanding. I’m confident thread seams will break with minor use over time. Easy fix though (imo), I will add some strong thread stitching to stress points.Overall, with a first impression and quick testing (1 night), I’m happy with my purchase. Only major flaw is thin stitching in corner sleeves as I can see those ripping with little use.

    “Glamping Queen”

After years of sleeping on the ground when camping, then upgrading to a nearly 41ft luxury RV, we have once again discovered the joy of tent camping. That’s not to say we are embracing the whole sleeping on the ground thing though. It took some convincing, but my wife was absolutely right on this one. Comfort is key! When the package arrived, some of our friends were curious, others laughed and teased that we weren’t going camping, but glamping…as if that was a bad thing. After seeing it set up while airing out after our return, this same friends asked where they could buy one! Although a bit on the heavy side and awkward to set up, this product has reignited our love for tent camping…or glamping as my wife like to say. When set up, the height of the frame and mattress are comparable to a regular queen size bed. No more sleeping on the ground and struggling to get up! The zippered sleeve keeps the mattress securely in place on the frame when set up. We use standard queen size sheets and a comforter instead of sleeping bags and even though we are unable to tuck them in they seemed to stay in place all night. We do definitely suggest that you invest in a good mattress pad if you plan to go this route. The material used to keep the air mattress in place is thin. It provides no insulation against the vinyl mattress and who wants to sweat! Finally, the side tables. Although they aren’t designed to hold a lot of weight and sit a little lower then the top of the mattress because they are attached to the frame, they are perfect for keeping a bottle of water, your cell phone, and a flashlight handy for those late night bathroom trips…which again are so much easier due to the raised height of the bed. We have recommended this product to several of our friends and will continue to do so. Definitely worth the investment!

If you need an air mattress- you need this!

My husband is a combat vet and refuses to sleep on the ground for fun. I hate his army cots and would rather sleep on a thick yoga mat…. We compromised.I chose this particular cot because:-there are no horizontal bars under your body. Just one verticle one inbetween two people (although if it’s just one person in center of the mattress, you dont feel it). And it helps with rolling into the center.-The way this folds allows a ton of storage under the cot.-the mattress is zipped into place and does not move.-you can replace the mattress down the line if you need to.-the height is very easy to get in and out of, I think my senior visitors would prefer this over my tall guest bed-although heavy, I could travel with this when I know I’d have to stay on someone’s couch.-hallelujah, a bag that is big enough to fit all parts and you dont have to do origami (it’s the small things folks!)I had this on my watch list for over a year and watched the prices go from $89-$179. I nabbed it for under a hundred. I highly, highly, highly recommend. Even for the occasional user, you’ll be very glad you have this!

    FANTASTIC!!!!

This bed is incredible. I purchased it to use at my son’s apartment when I visit for a few days. As a 66 year old woman, who has had major back surgery years ago and recently had a stroke and a heart attack at the same time, you can understand that I was skeptical about purchasing an air mattress. I needed something the height of a bed (at least 22″ high) so when I saw this bed, I figured it was worth a try. I slept very well for 3 consecutive nights and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Coleman bed to anyone at any age.The zipper-bag that is partly sewn at the bottom works wonderful. The mattress doesn’t slide off of the frame at all.Only one thing I would suggest is that would be to have rubber grippers on the bottom of the four corner legs to keep the bed from sliding on a hard wood floor.Highly recommend this bed!!!!!

    I HAD a love/hate relationship going camping. Let me explain. . .

I really love going camping, getting out in the wilderness where there is no cell service. Taking in the beauty, and having a blast. Up until bed time. While sitting around the campfire I always dreaded going to sleep on the floor. We had a blow up mattress, but it’s just getting down so low that it was miserable. Especially when you had to get up off of the floor. When I was younger, this didn’t affect me.During some research I came across this gem. I took some time reading over the reviews (Which are very helpful), and decided to get it overnight for the upcoming weekend camping trip. It arrived the day before we left (YAY Amazon). I opened it up and removed the included air mattress. I have heard that this mattress is a bit on the cheap side. Since we already owned a Queen Coleman airbed, we decided to use that one. It does in fact hold Coleman’s other queen mattresses.Opening it up is pretty easy. Take it very slow, since there are a LOT of pinch points that could chew up fingers! It doesn’t ‘snap’ to stay open. It uses gravity of the mattress and you to keep it flat on the ground. The cover is sewn onto the frame. You unzip the cover and slide in the mattress. The included air pump (Runs on 4 D batteries) is nice. The nozzle doesn’t create a snug fit, so be prepared to hold it there while blowing it up. It doesn’t have the ‘gusto’ to get the mattress firm, so you will need to use your hand/foot pump to get it to the right firmness. This isn’t a huge game changer since it does inflate/deflate the mattress in seconds! When you move on it at night it does make some noise like the other reviewers have mentioned. It wasn’t that loud, but it is there and noticeable. I don’t think my neighbors heard us.The additional bed-side tables were a nice addition. Our tent doesn’t allow us to use both sides. The one side we had it attached was nice. It’s not a sturdy ‘table’, but a canvas that is stretched. We used it to hold our odds and ends from our pockets at night. The feet of the cot is plastic. It did manage to rub a few holes on the bottom of our tent. This is an easy fix, but your mileage may vary. I was worried about this, but I didn’t think it would happen so quickly. I really wanted to remove a star, but I knew it could happen but didn’t do anything to prevent it (I even talked about getting the furniture movers – plastic coasters for furniture).. That was MY fault.Overall, this is money well spent! I’m now not cringing in wanting to go to bed. It’s quite enjoyable and comfortable!!

    Spent 3 nights on it

Spent 3 nights on it, had to refill each night because it has a slow leak already. First time using the pump it came with and it quit working. Before it was full, had brand new batteries but tried another set and it never did come back on. Bought a new pump for night 2, filled it to a comfortable level, not too hard not too soft and by morning it had gone down quit a bit. Night 3 was similar. Maybe it is stretching… Love the size love the fabric. Love the idea. The frame is quality and sturdy and easy to use although it is heavy! Can slide your bags right under it for storage and it is just perfect level off the ground for easy ups and downs. I love it. Sucks that the air mattress leaks already on first trip. Fix a flat?? Maybe I’ll get lucky and they will send me a new air mattress — 2 of my friends ordered just because they loved mine so I should get some credit here

Ha. Earplugs.

    Perfect!

Bought this to make use of our den as a spare bedroom and slept on it last night. Set up was straightforward and the inflator worked as described, I also purchased a 2″ memory foam topper and a regular twin mattress pad to for insulation in the winter and to give the bed a more conventional look and feel. It was more comfortable than any air mattress I have ever slept on! Not noisy at all and surprisingly comfortable…and the height was perfect too! If you like a really firm mattress the topper probably wouldn’t be a good idea. Overall, a great purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if the need arose.

    Its loud but comfy

I bought this as I knew at the time we would have a few weeks between a cross country move and wanted something lifted. Our cross country move ended up getting delayed. We spent the last 2 whole months sleeping on this. Not by choice but necessity. We have two large breed dogs that usually sleep with us on a king size bed. At more than one occasion we were all crowded on this cot and well it’s super sturdy. Comfort for a quick weekend camping trip is amazing it’s like a real bed and love the real bed feel. Though its loud. Every movement your partner or fur child makes you will hear. For the comfort and raised feeling would highly recommend. For the sturdiest camping cot you will ever own would highly recommend. Just use one a camping trip and dont get stuck with this as your only bed for two months and you will be golden. So worth the money to use and continue tent camping with. We have definitely got our monies worth and then some with this purchase.

    Perfect Guest Bed

Bought one, then bought a second because they fold up and store so easy. My son graduated from high school and everyone wanted to come and stay at our house. My niece and her mom both used the beds, I bought two, and their complaints were, 1) they were too cold, so we put a couple of blankets under the fitted sheet, and 2) the bed was too firm, so we let out the air a bit. The beds easily take twin sheets, you have to tuck them in bit differently to make them fit but then throw a blanket or two on them and they look great. They fold up just a bit bigger than those cheap canvas folding chairs that the stores sell for about $10-$20, so they are easy to put away for the holidays. The battery operated air compressor is fine but I splurged and bought an electric one for $15. This is so much better than the old hide away couch beds and an air mattress since my aunt with bad knees said it was easy to get in and out of compared to an high air mattress. I would buy it again, oh wait I did as I bought two to have in reserve and now my younger one has decided that by buying them, he has tacit permission to have more sleepovers.

    Love it!!!

My husband and I camp at least three times a year and we have struggled with air mattresses. We have bought several and we always end up uncomfortable and somehow on the ground by the morning. This was my last attempt at buying an airbed before giving cots a try. We absolutely loved it!! We didn’t have any issues with leaking air, we just came back from a 4 day camping trip. We didn’t have any issues with the air.It was also really nice to not be on the ground too. It almost felt like a real bed. My husband, toddler and I were able to sleep comfortably and move without disturbing each other.I bought two $10 warm weather sleeping bags from Walmart and zipped them together to make one giant one, then brought one warm/fleece blanket as we had a low of 50 degrees at night. We slept really good, I am so happy we bought this airbed.

and in a nice carrying bag

We purchased this for our upcoming trip to my husbands family. My husband is disabled, and cannot climb stairs. His family does not have any beds on the main level of their home, so we were going to have to stay in a hotel. After checking for the availability of rooms near their home, we found that we may not be able to afford to visit as rooms ran around $250/night. That sent me on the search for an alternative. I found this, and ordered it hoping it would work for us, and knowing if it didn’t, we could use it for guests in our home if needed. The cot arrived well boxed, and in a nice carrying bag. It is heavy, but I expected it to be because it said it can handle up to 600lbs. After opening the bag, and removing the cot, mattress, pump, and side tables, I expected a lot of set up. Well, wasn’t I pleasantly surprised!! The cot itself set up in less that two minutes, the air mattress filled quickly with the supplied pump, and the mattress fit easily inside the attached mattress cover keeping it secure, and in place. I then added a extra little pad we had to the top of the air mattress, put on clean sheets and a blanket, grabbed a couple pillow, my husband, and we took a nap. It was very comfortable! Now, we can visit his family, and get to stay with them. This was a great investment, and we a pleased with this purchase!!This could be used as a separate air mattress, and cot, but the cot is not that comfortable alone.

This is an Excellent bed for camping and beyond!!

First impressions, its heavy. For real its heavy. That said I first used it sleeping out on my buddies fishing doc. I did not want to bother with the air bed part so just slept on the cot. One side of the cot. The support bar that goes laterally down the bed is not something you can lay on without the air bed portion. However even for my big self (6’5 230lbs) the one side of cot was quite serviceable, even good! My feet did hang off the , but I am use to that from a lot of “regular” beds even. Adding the air bed portion and this thing really shines! I camped in Colorado and had highs in the 70s lows in the 30s and did not have to add air but once over 3 nights. The bed is pretty easy to set up, would be a bit tougher for someone smaller than me, but I found it simple. And boy it was comfortable! This thing is not a compromise on comfort from staying in a many hotel beds! Its just comfortable as heck. The pump is cheaply built and may break, but it has not yet! Kicker to all? It all fit back into the bag without much trouble! This would work as a guest room bed, and if weight and size are not a big consideration, its excellent for camping!

    Comfortable and Sturdy

This is a great cot for weekend stays. My husband used it for a weekend event he recently attended and said he slept well, very comfortable. It is easy to set up in less than 10 minutes. The pump is battery operated, and it only takes 1 minute to inflate a twin size airbed. The side table is tight and removable, and has enough room to place a cell phone and wallet, includes a drink holder pocket. When folded and stored in its carrying bag, the cot is about the same size or slightly bigger than a folding camping chair. Easy to carry, stores well, fits nicely in a car trunk. I did not measure it, but the roomy. You can roll from side to side without feeling like you’re going to fall off. Someone 6′ and 250 lbs can have a restful night sleep on this cot, no problem. I also like you can easily replace the airbed if needed. I highly recommend the twin-size cot.

Super easy setup and super fast mattress inflation.

We bought this Colman Twin airbed because I have a family member coming over from England to stay for a couple of weeks. I have to say, set up was simple, I did not need to break into the instructions. Very straight forward, (I did record an un-boxing and setup video but had trouble with my video editor. I’ll upload it if I get it sorted) Setup only took about five minutes and that’s including inflating the mattress. One brilliant design function is the glove attached to the cot where you insert the mattress to prevent it from slipping around I’ve attached a short video to show how quickly it inflates. I’ve given it 5 stars for the whole setup process. The guest arrives shortly. I’ll update my review after I’ve gotten their opinion. I’ll also try it out myself.Update: Our guest slept on this for three weeks. I believe we had to re-inflate it once or twice. She said she slept well, it was relatively comfortable. Once complaint would be that when she stirred during the night, the friction between the mattress and the glove was quite noise, squeaky if you will. If the inner side of the glove was brushed cotton or some kind of faux felt that may alleviate the sound. On the whole, a great little buy.

Great if you’re an old f*rt like me

Even a “tall” air mattress can be a challenge to get up from once you’re past a certain age. This Coleman cot makes a HUGE difference in sleep quality. It is not lightweight, but that means it stays put, too. It is very easy to inflate and deflate. In fact, the valve is pretty ingenious in that you can seal it before you remove the pump. My two minor complaints about it are that the fabric sleeve that the mattress fits into is not removable for washing, which would have been nice (not that I expect it to get filthy), and that it is pretty squeaky when I turn over. Since I’m usually by myself, it’s not an issue for me.

    I love this cot

I have to say I love this cot. As I am the only one sleeping in it, I bought the twon which fits me perfectly. It is a bit wider than a standard twin mattress. Added a picture in my tent, not sure if you can see, it is in the back and I have a pretty good size tent. But is fits in the back perfectly. Comfort is pretty good, I tent towards glamp ingand like my comfort. It blows up fast and stays blown up all night. I am thinking about getting a poofy mattress pad for extra comfort. The best part is getting in and out without holding on to something.

    Like it

Received it quickly. It was a pain figuring out how to get it to stand up on it’s own. It had zero directions especially on the cot/frame part. I tried looking it up and nothing. Well I ordered a twin. There is nothing to lock it in place. You just pull hard and get it to stand on it’s own. Once you do that, the rest is simple. The pump is included, not the D batteries. It comes with a table thing. I have actually been sleeping on an aero bed the last few days. So I wanted to try this. I do not want an actual bed and frame at the moment. But an airbed on the floor is not as comfortable as something off the floor. Just testing this out and already feels more like an actual bed, in comparison to my aerobed that was on the floor. So I will update if I have issues. So far I like it.Update: I have slept on it 4 days in row and have not had to put extra air in it. It is rather comfortable. I am happy with my purchase so far. I finally figured out where the table goes. It is movable but only on the one end but on either side of the one end. Once you figure out how to put it together it is easy. But without directions and having never used a cot before it was weird to figure out since nothing locks in place. But it is sturdy once all together correctly. It fits twin sheet set fine.FYI: it does state it has materials that in the state of California that cause cancer and birth defects. But then again almost now a days all products do.

    Level up your camping!

So I’ve been unable to camp without an air mattress for a while now (these bones are getting older! lol). While an air mattress cuts it okay, I hate being so low to the ground and since ours was falling a part/losing a lot of air….it was time for an upgrade! I had been looking at this for SO long (missed it when it was at $99 :/ ) but bought it before our first camping trip this year and….I AM SO HAPPY! I mean, listen…it’s not like you’ll feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud, but as far as air mattresses go this is a huge winner in my book. Super comfortable, love the space it give you underneath to hide stuff (or in our case, a place for our camping cats to play/hide). The side tables are pretty sturdy too! I do recommend on chillier nights to put something warmer down below you since it sleeps cold, but all in all it was a great purchase and I am super satisfied!

    Totally worth the money!

I purchased this bed to go camping with our Girl Scout Troop and it was awesome! It is heavy, but the included storage bag has wheels so moving it around by myself was a snap. Set up and tear down was way easier than I expected. The mattress zips into an enclosed pocket atop the frame, so it doesn’t shift when you move/roll around (excellent feature). Included air pump works well. As with all air mattresses I have owned, I needed to add a bit of air each night before bed, but it was fast and easy. Side note: batteries NOT included.Size wise, this is closer to a double/full than a queen… I used a full size fitted sheet and it was only a little tight. I fit this and a single size cot into our 4 man tent and there was still a small walking path.Comfort wise, it was what I expect from an air mattress. I did NOT feel the frame as I slept, so that was good.I did NOT end up using the side tables so no review there.

    Glamped out

Getting back into camping after a break. Queen sized cot market is pretty slim, and I have owned competitors products, some are decent, most don’t hold up to a Coleman if properly cared for, truth be told. Order made it in time for a last minute trip to our land, literally the last thing loaded as Amazon delivered. Camp was set up late, it was raining, and this thing was out of the bag and blown up in less than 5 minutes. Cot, sheet and mattress are pretty much one after initial set up. Break down was easy, pulled the plug, and folded the entire air mattress and cot into the storage bag, much like a camp chair, it fit the bag as good going in, as it came out. Rest was good, it’s an air mattress, not on the ground. It is a little hefty about 50 pounds, and I advise you pull the corners out so you don’t get any pinch points when opening the bed frame. This just stepped up my camp game another level, my girl also appreciates it.

and in a nice carrying bag

Better than your bed at home!

I camp… alot. Now that I’m retired I camp 3 or 4 months a year when the weather is tolerable. I have slept on an air mattress mostly, but they can be hard getting up and down. I also have a nice cot that I sometimes use, pretty comfy but very loud. I just took a chance on this after a few uncomfortable nights and I am so glad I did. It is just the exact size of a twin bed, so all my linens fit much better. By raising the bed, I could now store some items underneath, which is a big bonus in a tent. It was fast and easy to set up, every single thing is included, even a pump which uses 4 D batteries (not included). To set it up you just unfold the metal frame, inflate the mattress, insert it into the zippered pocket on the frame and you’re done. Once the mattress is zipped in it is as stable as any bed in your house. One thing I hadn’t appreciated was the effect of the air mattress with the cot. Since cots somewhat mold to your body adding an air mattress causes it to do the same. It sort of gently hugs around you like the seat of a sports car. Very nice for sleeping. I also like that if your air mattress goes flat, you are still super comfy in a big cot. The air mattress is easily replaced and you are back to golden. Negatives… this thing weighs as much as my tent ! It’s heavy, bulky, awkward , and I don’t even care. Worth it. Also, I wish it locked into place when folded out. If you move it around you have to be cautious with the legs. I saw a lot of complaints about how loud it was, but Coleman must have addressed this because mine was nearly silent. I can’t imagine you would regret this purchase

    Comfortable for daily use

I purchased the Coleman Camping Cot for daily use during an 8-week stay in an apartment. I have been sleeping on it every night for the last 4 weeks. I have been pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it is and how well I have been sleeping on it. For one person, it is great and I love having it up off of the floor (I hate air mattresses on the floor!). I also really like the little side tables that attach – perfect place for my cell phone and reading glasses. I’m not sure how it would work for two people. It was very easy for one person to set up. The air needs to be topped off a little nightly, or every other night, and this is very easy to do with the battery-powered pump. The whole unit packs up nicely in a zippered case with a handle so, after this 8-week living situation, I know we will get lots of use out of it for house guests.

    Definitely worth it!

I bought the twin size cot, and never had any unusual problems with it. Just got back from a week of camping with it and it was lovely. Like all air mattresses, you will have to add some air a day or two later, because anyone who has used an air matress for any extended period of time will know, they do stretch. Plus, if you use it in colder areas, that will affect it, too. I actually had to let a little air out because I refilled it a little to much. The cot and frame itself are very sturdy. I’m not a light woman, and I had no issues at all with it. One thing I might suggest is putting a couple thicker blankets under a fitted sheet when using outside so you don’t have the cold air coming up underneath. If you do need more room for an extra person, you might be better off getting two twins and putting them next to each other. It’ll be easier than having the one queen, and you can each have your own set of blankets.

    It is comfortable, sturdy

This cot has exceeded my expectations! It is comfortable, sturdy, and there was little seepage of air. It can be set up in minutes as there are only two pieces, the frame and the air mattress (the mattress fills in a couple of minutes). I bought this cot to have as an alternative to sleeping on the couch when I visit my daughter. The portability and compactness makes it convenient when I place it in my small car to travel. I also use this when visitors come to my home and they too have told me how comfortably they slept. In order to make it a bit more comfortable I use a feather bed under the sheets, giving the bed a bit more loft.I would certainly recommend this cot to anyone who needs an additional bed source be it at home or while camping.

    Very easy to put together

Very easy to put together, all you do is snap the legs into place. Make sure you buy D batteries for the pump, batteries are not included. It took about a minute to air up the mattress completely. We bought this to use for festivals this summer and as you can see, my boyfriend already loves it. We have been lying on it all afternoon and it’s actually very comfortable.. One minor issue with this was our air pump looked like it was already used. It was all scratched up and dusty. It still seemed to work fine but I thought these were brand new products I was buying so I was a little unimpressed with that. But we love it so much overall that the pump issue really doesn’t matter that much to us.

Not Perfect but Pretty Close To It

This is for the “twin” model. Real easy to setup. Air bladder filled to about 3/4 capacity (I like a soft mattress) in about 60 to 90 seconds using the provided 4D pump. Air mattress was comfortable and I felt nothing bulging from the frame. I slept well and woke with no quirky aches or pains. The only negative is that the sleeve that holds the air bladder is stitched funny because it prevents the bladder from aligning evenly, i.e. there is more overhang on one side than the other. Regardless, this is a minor issue as the bladder does cover the entire frame.

    Soooo Comfortable!

So, I bought this to make the best of a bad situation. My aunt was diagnosed with cancer, and I took a last minute flight to go help take care of her. I chose this air mattress/cot simply because it was the one Amazon could deliver most quickly to me to use during my stay.I am SO THANKFUL that I chose it. It was AMAZINGLY comfortable, and so easy to deflate/breakdown each morning. It folds away into a shockingly small little case, and inflated in 2 minutes flat. And have I mentioned how comfy it was? It was fabulous all around. Since then, 3 other people have used it while spending time with my aunt… Each one has texted me for the details to order one as an extra guest bed and/or camping bed for themselves.

Heavy, .but it’s the most comfortable sleeping experience.

I’ve wanted one of these Coleman Airbeds for a long time, but this is nothing like what I expected. It’s heavy, took a while to get it set up, didn’t come with batteries. I overcame all the aforementioned issues and had the best nights sleep I have ever had on a camping cot/air mattress. Yes, the mattress gets soft, however it warns you In the instructions (you know that white paper with writing that comes in the box.). that as the material stretches it will get softer so just put in more air. I did, (every day) and it worked fine. Like all air mattresses it’s cold so I couldn’t flatten out my sleeping bag to use as a blanket but getting INTO the sleeping bag worked just fine. Now, the one issue I can’t overcome is…. there is no way to get all the stuff back into the carry bag. The air pump and side table should all fit back in but no way. Tents come with an expandable bag, I think this should too. It’s a very comfortable bed and I’m looking forward to camping this summer.

PERFECT, especially for camping after total hip replacement!

We are big time campers, but it gets a little tougher with age (60’s). We have been using a queen size aero bed for years, which was great, but with me having a recent total hip replacement, it was a little lower than I should be using. My husband came across these and we got two. THEY ARE GREAT! The height is close to our normal bed, so easy for anyone with hip or knee problems, very easy to get up from. We blew them up as soon as we got the tent up, and never had to ‘top them off’ the entire 8 days of camping. We both agreed that we could easily camp for 30 days with these beds! And I’m only 8 weeks out of surgery and these 8 days camping were the best sleep I’ve had in months! REALLY REALLY pleased that we can still camp in comfort! ACTUALLY, I wish I had gotten these as soon as I was released from the hospital after surgery, they are SO comfy (I couldn’t sleep in my bed for weeks, had to sleep on a recliner!)…HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE, especially for older or surgery challenged people!

Purchased this before covid hit our home. So happy that I thought ahead. My husband contracted covid from a trace contact, and I isolated him a few days before I got covid. This cot, air mattress really helped, even though we both were hospitalized.Much better than air mattress on the floor. It held air for one night, had to keep adding air…its good enough for a night or 2, but I recommend adding a mattress topper for extra comfort. It was somewhat easy to set up, but don’t expect to get the air mattress back in the carry bag the frame sits in. I use an extra tote bag for the mattress and battery operated air pump.

Picture is 6p tent, Coleman queen bed with down comforter and our big dog’s large coil spring ortho bed.

    great product

    Comfortable and roomy

I set this up and inflated it as soon as I got it. I ordered a two person sleeping bag asWell, laid it out, and my Great Dane and I fell asleep on it.
