Travis –
Absolutely my favorite go to camping chair, built to hold extra weight means its more sturdy and will last longer than other camping chairs. Simple lock keeps the chair open when it needs to be and locked in place when carrying. Nice strap allows me to sling the chair over my shoulder with ease.

Slim Jim –
Best chair I ever bought, perfect size for me.
Vito –
Comfortable chair high back slightly reclined very sturdy I’m a large man this makes me feel very comfortable
TT –
Recently bought two of these chairs after our chairs broke. They have a thin layer of padding at the end of the chair so the fabric doesn’t dig in under your knees. The seat back is comfy and the arm height is adjustable. I like that the chairs have a thin carry strap on the chair itself so I usually leave the bag in the car if not going far. We’ll see how durable these chairs are but enjoying them so far.
Stephen G Vidovich –
Owned a set before for our race team. They went through a 6 year beating until I said time to replace. Strong and very durable especially for heavy guys or someone throwing themselves in the chair…great investment
Jan –
We ordered two. Received the first of two today. Very good and sturdy chair for the tall and a bit heavier. Noted that it fit dear hubby perfect but my feet didn’t completely touch the ground and I am 5’8”. We bought to take to our great grandsons ballgames so am looking forward to being comfortable at the games. The only thing I noted was that when I folded up it didn’t seem to stay put. Wondering if I’m going to have to add a bungee cord to transport if I don’t place in carrry bag. Hubby is blind so want it to be convenient for us both.

Fabulous chairs. Wide seat great comfort even though we are not 400 pounds. High back support ….love them! 2 red, two grey, two blue
Baseball Dad –
Best folding chair ever for a larger person. You can get folding chairs anywhere for $10 these days, but for those of us over 6 feet tall and more than 250 pounds, this is the chair to get. It gives you back support and you don’t slump into the chair. I’ve sat for hours watching my son’s games without any back issues or stiffness. Yes, it’s pretty big to carry around, but again, if you’re sitting for a while, it’s worth carrying around. I left it one time and a few of the other parents sat on it- they all asked where they could get this chair. Worth every penny!
Aspect –
I like to sit with my legs folded up or even cross legged in chairs and these are large enough to do that. I got one for me and the husband and we had people fighting to use them at our family get-together. The locking mechanism is easy to use. Would recommend these to anyone looking for a bigger camp chair.
TJ –
We love these chairs!! Durability could be a little better. But, we use them a lot. So….
Viki Sauerman –
well I like the chairs. but they tilt to the back. Im short and can barely touch the ground. They are hard. I did want them because I have a couple of friends up there in weight
Pinqueen300 –
Super huge and comfortable! Love the carry strap- no need to put into the crazy pouches!
Clark Sr. –
Owned this brand for years. Excellent product
Kindle Customer –
Nice, big, comfortable chair. I’m 6’5 and it fits me perfectly.
Victor Veronica –
Perfect chair for long days at the ball park watching the kids. Very comfortable.
Ann –
This is the 2nd of these that I have ordered. I love the fact that the seat stays level & doesn’t allow your butt to sag like so many of the other folding chairs do. I’m a plus sized woman so the XXL gives me plenty of room. The oversized cup holder will hold my phone (or a Pringles can). The back is high enough that it supports my head when I lean back. I deducted 1 star from comfort because it’s a little higher than other chairs & my feet don’t quite touch the ground when I sit back (I’m only 5’3″). Also, the back of the seat is angled back so it’s a little difficult to sit up straight when you’re trying to read, etc.

Very sturdy. Wouldn’t want to take it hiking, but great for a walk to the beach
Kindle Customer –
We love these chairs! We have 8 of them now, & only buy this brand!
TwinMom –
The seat tore the first day we used it. So disappointed as the height and width of the chair is perfect. This is the second seat that has torn in this chair style. I like that the seat does not sag, but they MUST improve the sturdiness of the stitching and reinforce the fabric at the seems. It literally tore straight through as we sat down.
D n MO –
Ever since I evolved into a “heavy duty” guy I’ve had to evolve my folding chair buying choices since I tend to make scrap out of the regular size chairs pretty quick the last few yrs. I only got a couple yrs out of the previous two heavy duty camp chairs I bought and I’ve only had this one a couple months so far but it’s already been thru 60+ baseball & softball games. So far it’s holding up great and it’s definitely more comfortable than the other’s and looks sharper too. The hardware does appear to be bigger & stronger than the previous “heavy duty” chairs. I don’t expect this thing to last forever but I’ll be surprised if I doesn’t last longer than the others. Based on price, functionality, and appearance I would definitely give this Kijaro XXL a 5 Star rating.

Good for us hefty folks. Sits well on the beach. Comfort and wider seat make it easy for bad knees to get up.
N2itive –
This chair provided me with more than enough room for my 5 feet 7 inch frame and weight of 216. The chair is slightly taller in height than similar chairs. As a woman, it was not bulky to carry. I received many compliments while sitting outside in line for a free movie screening. The color is very pretty and vibrant! My next outing will be relaxing in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia. It is great investment!
Val K –
Easy to carry and big enough to sit comfortably with room for a kid or a dog 🙂
lapearl –
This is perfect for my 220 lb, left handed husband. He loves it.
Muscle Prof –
I am 6’2″ 220 lbs and this chair fits wonderfully! It is very study and it is large. I use it at the beach. The cup holders fit perfectly and the zippered side pocket comes in handy for my cell phone.

VelTheMusicalMuse –
I absolutely love this chair. It’s extremely comfortable and the cup holders hold some very large drinks which I love. I will say, it’s definitely a decent sized chair, possibly larger than most would expect. But that’s fine by me cause I can basically lay around in it. The build is excellent quality and I absolutely love the color. If you’re looking for a sturdy, well built chair, this one’s for you!

After 3 uses by a person who weighs 250lbs, the chair ripped. This chair is supposed to support up to 400lbs. These seems should be stitched better
Mark C –
This chair sits a few inches higher than most other folding chairs, but is extremely comfortable, solid construction, and spacious. You do not feel like you are sinking in the seat and also do not experience any discomfort from sitting in it for extended time. Would highly recommend
Jafet Hernandez –
Awesome chair. Keep in mind this is huge, smaller people might struggle to out it back in the bag. Although I suspect most people looking at this model aren’t small.
PelicanpixPelicanpix –
This is the Lazy-Boy of tailgate chairs. It’s sturdy but still very portable, not too heavy. The back is high enough for some head support. Seat is sturdy and easy to get out of when you stand up. Love the two cup holders and side storage pouch. Just remember to press the unlock button to unfold and again when you’re ready to fold the chair. I bought one chair and was so impressed with it that I bought another one the very next day!
JOSEPH JOHNSON –
Great chair
nicholas A. –
Just received but very comfortable seems well built
Kyle Beaudine –
As advertised, highly recommended.
derisk67 –
Large, very nice looking and feels sturdy (they’re advertised as being large and extra strength). Has a quality appearance. I only tested in my living room, but easily locks open and closed. The higher seat height is a definite plus for comfort and for getting up and out of the chair. I ordered additional ones, having faith that they are the real deal that will replace our smaller, weaker and less comfortable chairs.
wndrwmn –
Love these chairs….I bought two last summer for my husband and I (in a different color). Decided to purchase these for Christmas presents for adult children to take on their camping trips this summer. One arrived and still waiting for one to arrive…….1 month later. Confusing? I recommend these chairs, but disappointed that issue has to happen. We are not large people, but love the sturdy and spacious feeling of these chairs.
Stephanie –
Amazingly strong chair. I weigh about 400 lbs and it holds me completely.
OMT –
Big chair!
CoroseCorose –
Came quick. Tested it out for a few days. Pretty sturdy. I can sit in it and not have to worry about the fabric. Doesn’t buckle when too much weight on it. If you have wide thighs, the side bars might be a bit of a pain. I recommend a wide pillow or blanket in those spots so it won’t mess up your legs. However, if your a person that can’t lift heavy stuff, might wanna go for something lighter cause it’s a bit of a heavy chair to carry around even with the help of the bag it comes with. I do recommended sitting and not just plopping down in it or you will be facing those issues other ppl were stating in the review about tore fabric. Just treat it nicely and it will return the favor.
Amazon Customer –
This chair is sturdy and large. Great chair for a large person or if you want to curl up in it. just went camping and when I was not in the chair someone was had to keep asking people to get up.
Carrie –
I am somewhat tall (5’9”) and when I sit in these chairs my feet just about swing
ZsaZsa –
Well made, oversized chair for a tall person.
Lynn Gardner –
Great chair for backyard or camping. It will be used there, mostly. Tall, sturdy, nice height off the ground–my long legs barely reach. They are rather long when folded, but that is what one might expect from an XXL size. I am an XXXLT kind of guy, and there is plenty of room/strength with this chair. In all, I am very pleased with it. So much so, that I have ordered several more to make a patio/yard set of them
Kristen Natale –
Kijaro XXL Dual Lock Chair============Oh my gosh do I love this chair. I have problems with my back and hate how you always seem to sink into other folding chairs. This one is nice and comfortable and so easy to get out of. My mother-in-law who is 87 can even get out of it herself even with her arthritis. These were the most important selling points from the website: Super-sized Dual Lock folding chair with carry strap and bagPatented dual lock technology that locks in the open & closed position. Oversized seating with improved posture & seat support for comfort. I love the locking mechanism, I am never afraid of the chair folding in on me.I received no compensation for my review and always give my honest and unbiased opinion of each product. My words and the rating Iprovide are my own and are based on my own personal experience with this item. I have no affiliation with the company and did not receive any compensation for trying the product. I hope this review was helpful for you. Nice sturdy chair that will come in handy this summer!
Thomas G –
I was looking for a folding chair the that did not have a sagging seat, was sturdy, fit a person over 6 feet and did not unfold while transporting without the case. This chair fit all my standards. Being affordable was a plus.
Danyelle Johnson –
This chair is very large, sturdy, and supportive. Also, it has an easy release feature that assist to close it. I would recommend this product!

So far, I have ordered almost every color of this chair for myself and family members. That’s how much I love this chair. I have two XXL chairs and two XL chairs for myself and my family. (I bought my parents and in-laws this chair also). The XXL is slightly taller in the back and overall. (The XL is plenty tall enough too). I went with the XXL for myself because I wanted the tallest and the widest of the two sizes. The XXL is also wider than the XL. I hate chairs that sag in the seat area and are short. I’m a tall guy (6′ 5″). It’s hard to get out of a short chair. These chairs are very sturdy. The locking mechanism is fine, but wouldn’t be a factor even if it didn’t have it.Some people have complained about how much the chair weighs. This has never been a factor for me or my wife. 5 Stars for the best chair I’ve ever owned. (and I have owned plenty over the years). The real test will be how long they last VS all other chairs I’ve owned. I will try and update this review after a year or so.My only complaint is that this chair does not come in Purple. (My kid’s main school color).

It was great to find a light weight sturdy chair that is easy to get out of and yet mobile to take on the go.
Kindle Customer –
Love it. Very comfortable but easy to handle
Barbara Mitchell –
This is the most comfortable sports chair I have owned. Comfy and tall enough that I can just stand up from it instead of trying to throw myself out of a hole!
StiffishNickel –
This chair locks out so the sides don’t pull in. Bought this for my wife because when we go to our son’s baseball games she usually ends up in my chair, now she has her own. Very sturdy and comfortable, highly recommend.
Eric Palmer –
I ordered two of these chairs at the same time, one order. I received a box big enough for both chairs but there was only one in the box. I look up my order to confirm I ordered two and I had. Now the second chair is in Salt Lake City, and has been for a while. How hard is it to put two chairs in one box!?! Amazing.
Michael W. Burkhart –
If you are a big person, this is your chair. There is no carry bag, it has a carry strap and it locks closed so you can carry it on your shoulder. I weigh 300 pounds and these types of chairs don’t last long normally but this one my be the last one I ever buy. Well made and wider than normal camping chairs. No more fat rolls resting on the chair arms.UPDATE: Bought two more of these chairs. As a big guy I love these chairs. The first one I bought has been with me at a lot of events and is still going strong. I have no complaints or negative things to say.
Monica M. Cruz –
Very comfortable chair with a great bag to put it into. Easy to set up and fold
Jimbo –
Very solid chair. No issues. Kinda hard to “snap” lock into position, but that’s fine, I don’t anticipate it jumping up and folding on me when I stand up. Roomy, Green color is sharp!
Amazon Customer –
Exactly what I was looking for! Works great!
Illuminatrix –
Big Chair, seems fairly heavy duty. I’m wondering how it will hold up as the lock seems to be a potential fail point. I really like that it seems sturdy and that the arms stay put. It’s fairly long when folded due to the design, seems like 4 ft or so and the ‘lock’ when folded doesn’t seem particularly secure, so I’ll probably use the carry bag rather than the strap on the chair if I’m hauling it around. It’s definitely heavier than my old coleman and I don’t know if that’s because it’s larger or because it’s better constructed or both. I really hope it holds up because it’s very nice to sit in. I’m almost 6ft and it allows me to sit with my knees at a right angle, as well as being wide enough that it doesn’t scrunch my hips.
The Right Price –
Love this Chair. It looks and feels like a high quality chair. It is easy to set up and put up. Very comfortable to set in an super easy to get out of this chair. The “no sag” seat makes this a perfect chair for anyone who has trouble getting out of a cheaper folding chair. It does set a little high for those who have short legs. I recommend this for anyone looking for a great quality folding chair.
Andrew –
Great investment for big guy. I highly recommend.
Amazon Customer –
I bought this chair because a family member had one and I found it very comfortable. I am not a large person but I love the roomy chair, and the fact that it lets you sit up straight and not sink in. It is easy to put back in the bag, and not that heavy to carry. (Takes up more room in the back of my SUV, but it’s worth it!)
Baseball Dad –

My very tall husband says, “Wow, I actually fit in this chair.” He can’t wait to got to more soccer games now (haha)
Bethany Chapell –
My fiancé and I ordered these chairs a few months ago for camping, using at outdoor events, and our beach trip. These are wonderful chairs for things not involving sand and water. Once we took them to the beach, the chairs were history. We used them about three days before the chair would not fold in anymore and my fiancé’s actually broke through the metal pole. DO NOT use on water and sand!!! Other terrains are great but this is not a beach friendly chair.
April Weldy –
I like the sturdy easy to carry chair. It’s easy for me to fold up. It’s a little taller than most chairs makes it easier to get out of. I do wish the back sat up straighter but other than that gray chair.
KJ –
Overall I love the chair, comfortable for what it it is, sturdy and supports a guy weighing in just under 250. A bit pricey but you get what you pay or

Someone else I knew had one that I used to sit in when visiting and I purchased one for myself and I would definitely but another one if I needed to!

Being of the large sort, I have struggled to find good chairs that last. A friend had one of these and raved about it so I figure why not. The chair fabric is thick and feels sturdy as does the frame. There is plenty of width in the seat ad well. You do have to get used to the feeling of reclining a bit more, but you definitely are not sitting in a bag. Very firm seat and very easy to get out of.
Jinnifyre –
Love this chair! Comfortable and appears sturdy. Some threads are fraying, but overall great! Does sit a little high, so if you’re short, prepare to let your legs dangle.

This is our second set. We have had the other ones for over 10 years. They were just getting worn out and needed replaced. These are way more comfortable than most chairs as they are wider and you don’t sink down into them.
McCawley27 –
Chair is very comfy, oversized and very easy to fold up or set up. Absolutely love this chair.
DanD –
I’m a pretty big guy, 5′ 10″ and 290, and I’ve been looking for a new lawn chair that can support my weight, and can travel with me to outdoor concerts and other events. My previous chair was an old-style lawn chair, metal tube legs and canvas mesh seat and back. It was light, easy to transport, and it lasted about 12 years before the canvas started coming apart last year. But they don’t make that style any more, at least not in a heavy-duty model. So I did some looking around and settled on this model. It arrived earlier today and I’ve been sitting in it for about an hour and I find it very comfortable. It’s a little higher off the ground than most chairs, and the seat is quite firm – it doesn’t sag when you sit down. This makes it very easy to get up from the chair, which is a real perk for a 60 year old, overweight dude. The chair is fairly heavy, and quite big, but I had no problems getting it into and out of the bag. The locking mechanism works well so far, and there is a strap on the chair, so you may not even need the bag for transport. The chair also has cup holders on each arm, and there is small zippered pouch that hangs on the right side of the seat that could fit some combination of cell phone, keys, sunblock, bug spray, or whatever. A nice touch. Anyway, day 1 rating is 5 stars for sure, we’ll see how it holds up over time, but I’m optimistic.

grat chairs nice and wide and very strong i would buy more if needed.i’m a big man and its hard to find a chair that accomodates me, this one does.
Annie McVee –
Be very sure you want this chair before you order it. The chair is huge. I bought 3 of these chairs for my 6 foot son and his feet barely reached the ground so I am returning them. With Prime, shipping wasn’t a problem when I bought them but returning them costs almost as much as one chair. Think twice about this purchase!!!

Great outdoor chair! Easy to setup and sturdy!

Great Chair. This is my second one. They hold up well but they will break after a few seasons. I bought these because I’m 6’4, 290. I wish there was a company that would make a bullet proof one and just charge for it. Buy once cry once. I’d by happy to pay for the quality and longevity.

I haven’t ever been a small woman (275 lbs. 5’5”) so I have gone through a LOT of camp chairs! This chair is not only the most comfortable but the most sturdy and strongest chair I’ve ever had! Large feet keep it from sinking into mud/grass, the snap feature keeps the seat from sagging and (as I’m starting to get older) it’s easier to get up from and stays comfortable for longer periods of time because it supports you! I couldn’t praise this chair more!
Tyra l. Sotelo –
These are great great chairs. We love them. Great for tall people.
Rhonda Wells –
Nice sturdy chair and very comfortable. Easy to fold and unfold, easy to carry. A little on the heavy side, but worth it.
Cathy Partridge –
This chair is different from all the other camping chairs on the market. First of all it’s very sturdy. Rated to hold up to 500lbs. The seat is wide and the back is tall. Having arthritis and knee replacements pulling myself up out of a saggy seat camp chair has become impossible. This chair is different. Once opened the seat fabric is very taut. It’s tall too, a solid 20 inches from the floor to the seat. It’s almost too high for me, but very easy to get out of! It’s still a camp chair, but most comfortable one that I’ve used.
Amazon Customer –
Best camp chair ever. Lots of room.
Ellen –
Love how high the back is on these chair. Also how far you sit back in the chair.

I’ve got several of these. Being a heavy guy, most chairs don’t support weights of 300 plus. . I use these in my living room.
Wendy Faust –
Incredibly strong, comfortable and supportive chair used for sitting at campfires, concerts, picnics. Absolutely love this chair!!
Julie –
Great for larger people, it’s very sturdy and comfortable. Not easy to fold and carry due to the size but it is doable.

Love it. Camping.

Chair is built for the meat eaters. We have a few of this make and model. It’s been 4years and still look new.

Buy this chair!!! I am a big person. I read SOOOO many reviews before choosing this chair. I finally read a review by someone who claimed to have tried several of these kinds of chairs available here on amazon, and this was his favorite. I figured at the low price point, I should try this one. It is PERFECT. Comfortable, sturdy, big. PERFECT. I better buy more before they raise the price lol. I have not been compensated for this review in any way.

Making the frame beefier still doesn’t solve the design issue of these folding bag chairs. The contact points and pop rivets are where the breaks typically occur. I can hear, feel and see the fatigue after using the chair about 15-20 times in the month since I have purchased it. It is going to break. And if it only lasts a 12 – 18 months, there are other, more comfortable chairs I could buy at the same or lower price (that will also break in that amount of time, but at least I am more comfortable and spending less).Maybe this is for people that just use it a couple of times a year. In that case maybe it lasts longer. But I am looking for a chair to take to kids sports events, every week. THIS ONE ISN’T IT!

I read a LOT of these comments. I looked at a LOT of the images. And I was convinced. I had no doubts. There weren’t going to be any surprises…THESE are the camping chairs of my people!Fast forward a couple of days later, I’m doing my best Uma-Thurman-in-the-restroom-scene-from-Pulp-Fiction imitation while standing in front of a new XXL. C’mon, you know the scene! My people did NOT adequately prepare me…These things are HEE-YOUUJAHHH! Don’t get me wrong – the quality is there, they’re everything good and right and girthy and of value. But got DAY-Um(a Thurman, again)!More seriously, though: The chair is too high in front and the seatback is too reclined for my liking. But here’s the thing! Given the way that the front legs are constructed, a handy guy could easily remove a couple of inches of length, reattach the feet, and resolve these issues (and probably provide some relief to those uncomfortable few commentors feeling the sides of the cross-members against their legs). I may try this!

How nice to have a chair that’s easy to stand up from! I’m 6′ 2″, 240. Most chair’s seats are too low for me, I have to push up and use my knees in ways they don’t like any more. But with the XXL Kijaro, I just stand right up because the seat height is 19.5″. Plenty of room to sit comfortably on the no-sag seat at 24″ wide. The dual lock means I don’t need to use the (very nice) bag to carry for short distances; the lock holds the frame together so I just need to grab any frame member or the strap and carry, no slop.I’ve been using it three times a week for two years now, no loosening, no popped rivets, no tears. Just a good solid comfortable chair. The drink holders are just right and the side pocket holds my iPhone XS Max easily.I do have to spend a good bit of time letting other people sit in it and telling them where I got it, the Kijaro does attract a lot of attention! But I don’t mind spreading the good news.

I purchased 2 of these chairs and were on back order. I did receive them and these are great, nice and sturdy. Well worth the wait.

For a tall person, this is the best chair ever! I looked around for a long time before making the purchase of this camp chair – I wanted something sturdy that would sit comfortably, and also something that would allow my legs to be in a natural position and not cramped up when sitting because it was too low. This is perfect! So if you are tall, go for it! You won’t be disappointed. This is a very comfortable camp chair. The built in drink holders and cellphone pocket are a bonus too. I bought two, one for me and one for my husband. We love them!
M. Watson –
Great chair, bought for a father’s day gift for my husband, 6’1″, about 180 lbs. Most of these types of chairs seem somewhat flimsy, and are low to the ground for the taller of the population. This was very sturdy feeling, and when sitting, his feet just touch the ground. The chair is also very wide, meaning you don’t get a bar under you to give you pressure injuries on your hip bones. No sagging in the middle while sitting, either. Overall, I would definitely recommend this chair. Worth the money paid.

large – sturdy – easy to carry – great for tall people

So far so good. I am 6’6″ and 280lbs. Broke my fair share of folding chairs. This one offers good leg support and has held up so far. About time companies make things for us bigger people.

Best chair ever! Very comfortable and great for tall people.

Very comfy chair – Plenty of room and ease of setup make it a winner in my book – Price is right too

This is everything I wanted in a portable chair. It’s sturdy, looks good and it doesn’t sit low to the ground. My daughter competes and I’m sitting in a chair all day long on competition days. This is the most comfortable camp chair I’ve ever owned. Did I mention it’s tall? It doesn’t sit low to the ground. It’s hard for this fat lady to get up out of the lower chairs. I bought two and now I will be purchasing two more.

Easy to set up and put down. Seems to be very well built! I ordered this because we camp a lot and my sister has one that she’s had for over 5 years…I got tired of the little cheap ones that fall apart after 4-5 times of use and these aren’t much more than one of those $20 chairs from Dicks sporting goods. That’s actually where my sister bought hers but they don’t carry them anymore. So I’ll update again after a few months of use.

Both my husband and our son in law have this chair. They are big guysand the chair is great. At the beach or the baseball field. We have usedit over and over again. Very good chair!

This is a really nice chair. It’s sturdy and comfortable for a big guy. It’s heavier and a little bulkier than a most other chairs, but the comfort and quality are worth lugging it around.

Perfect for king sized men
Aus849 King –
Well made, sturdy and comfortable. My husband likes it and will enjoy sitting in it for hours at the park Jazz festival.
Tammy M –
These chairs are so damn comfy! They are very sturdy, the only issue is that they are a bit heavy to carry if you’re walking a long way. Highly recommended.
Joe R. –
Love how tall these are. I have had two of them. Bought this one for my mom who has bad knees. Regular outdoor chairs are two low for her to get up. The seat doesn’t flex down very much and stays nice and tall making it easier for her to get up.
stoney –
I am 80 years old and the high seat is much easier to get out of than the other outside chairs I have. More comfortable too. Use it on my porch so haven’t tried folding it yet. May never do so.

I really like these chairs. They are SO comfortable. What I DON’T like is having to buy a new one every d😡😡n year because the seat ends up tearing! If it’s gonna be like that then they should lower the price to $20-$30! Make them so they don’t tear and I’ll give you a higher rating!

Finally used this chair for our church camping trip and the screw has completely ripped out of the tube that holds the chair together. I refused to sit in it since I’m pregnant. Completely unable to use. My husband is 6’5 and 249 lbs.

This is exactly what I wanted. A good seat height and can take my weight easily. Thinking about ordering another one. One for home and one for my Dad’s home.

I took this chair to Nags Head NC to the beach. Easy to stow or to schlep down to the beach front. Cleans up well. Well worth the price.

I love this chair, it is sturdy, has two drink holders and a side pocket to hold your phone and other items.

This is the third chair I purchased in this brand. We just love them. I am 6′ tall as is my family. We are all BIG PEEPS and this chair is perfect for baseball games. It’s plenty comfy and the drink pockets are in two sizes so you can have a big cup or a small one. Room for a cell phone, too. PERFECT Chair! Hope it lasts. Oh yeah, and the locking feature allows you to carry it around without the bag 🙂

Solid as a rock! My wife, 5’10 feels like a little kid sitting In it! Her feet swing when she sits back in it. It sits great, very sturdy! Recommended.

Love this chair. 6’4″ tall and north of 300 lbs. This was very comfortable and never once felt like it was unsturdy or that I was too heavy for the chair. Kijaro makes the best camping and beach products.

Most comfortable chair ever
Brice E Taylor –
This XXL chair is probably overkill for a 5’10” 180lb guy, but that’s what makes it so great to sit in .
bcslack51 –
Very well made. NOT for short person. Should have given up years ago on cheap chairs. This is a keeper. Will out last me. The only plastic is the four feet & the lock.
jobyf –
This is a big strong chair. It is a little too tall for me. The chair will not lock closed for carrying after two or three uses. It was PITA carrying the chair back to the car with out the bag. I’ve asked for a replacement, we will see how that one works out.

I bought the XL chair because my husband is 6’2” and a big guy. I thought the larger chair would be comfortable for him. We have only had it a couple months, and used it 5-6 times and the seam in the seat ripped. The 2nd seam in the seat is close to ripping as well. If this is inconsistent with the normal quality of their chairs, I am hoping the seller will see this review and offer to send us a replacement. We are very unhappy with this purchase. I did a lot of research before buying these chairs & have become very disappointed since they didn’t last more than 2 months, ugh! I will follow up if I here from the vendor and they attempt to make this defective purchase right!

Huge chairs but so much more comfortable than the other folding chairs we had where your bottom sinks in! They are tall so if you’re short, you might not want the xxl, but you still want this chair! Definitely a lot easier to get out of them for sure! Awesome chairs!
Kim Rigsby –
Great quality and sits comfortably. Bought for my son who is very tall and larger. He loves it! My aunt who has health problems used it and loved how sturdy it was and the ease of getting out of the chair -so we gave her ours! This is our replacement. Must have !
Kelly S. –
Have had the chair for almost 2 months have only used it a handful of times and the lock that keeps it closed is already broken… it won’t unlatch to open the chair back up now… love the chair other then that but now we can’t open it so we are pretty disappointed.
Kathie –
I love love love this chair! Extra wide, study and it doesn’t sink with your body weight. I have knee and hip issues and find this chair so easy to get out of.
Linda –
This chair is very comfortable and sturdy. I am very impressed with how the legs and feet are made. I had another brand where the feet were held together with a plastic assemble and it broke. This is made perfectly for longer wear!

Good:Easy to foldFeels VERY sturdy for larger folksNot sinky in the seat as a lot of the camping chairsPINK!Bad:HEAVY (heavier than my extra sturdy coleman chair)Hard and awkward to carry (strap is too short, shape when folded is weird)longer than the average folding chair when foldedthe incline of the back is too steep; makes me feel like I’m laying down

Comfortable and sturdy chair, heavy and big (though I expected that with a title of XXL). DONT BRING TO the BEACH, sand will get in the release and you won’t be able to close it. It’s so big you can’t get it home if you can’t close it.
Kathy McNeill –
Very comfortable
Rick L. –
Very sturdy.
James Hollingshead –
Chair is large and fairly comfortable while also being easily portable. The biggest issue with the chair is that instead of using bolts with nuts (which would have been much sturdier), rivets are used in some of the joints. The rivets in question have a habit of sheering off and then have to be replaced with either screws or bolts.Edit: Changing rating to 1 star after I found out that the latest rivet to break is the one that holds the legs together.I’ve only had this chair for about a year and multiple rivets have broken in that time. I only use the chair a few times a month and It should be noted that I am nowhere near as heavy as its stated weight capacity, so it is not that the chair is overloaded. It is that the company uses cheap materials at stress points.

This is a nice stair. I bought it because I am heavier and I don’t feel comfortable in the smaller chairs. This one is very nice to sit in. I have to tell you that the bars do start to hurt the back of my legs after a little while. I lay a blanket across the seat and it help.

This chair is great – I have some trouble getting out of most chairs but this one is higher than most. Wonderful – I Love it,
Dan Schellhammer –
I’m a big fella, 6’-4” and around 400 lbs. This chair is big, comfortable, and sturdy. Best bag chair I have ever had. Gets lots of use. This was the second one I bought. I had the first one for four years without an issue. Brought it to all the kids soccer, t-ball, softball, and football games. It also came up to the lake for fun weekends. Got a lot of use out of it and never had a problem. A strong wind blew my first one into a campfire, which led to a need for a new one. I didn’t hesitate to buy the same one again. Big fella approved!!!!

I bought this chair for my boyfriend to use at the beach. He is about 6 foot 2 and around 200 lbs. This chair is the perfect height for him and very solid when unfolded. Also extremely portable when folded and in its sleeve. Love it.
Megan Jirasek –
Fabric fell apart after a few months. Release button stopped working after a couple uses. We stored inside and took it to softball tournaments every other weekend. There are cheaper alternatives that would last much longer.
Doreen Glynn –
Comfortable as easy to put up. Easy to carry
Dale Carmen –
Very comfortable chair and lasts a long time, this is my 2nd one, the 1st chair lived a long abusive life before ending up in a bon fire from its last jack Daniels party, as long as you’re not 400 pounds and just dropping down into this chair drunk it will last forever, my 1st 1 lasted over 5 years being abused every weekend.
Bryan –
great chair for a big fella! sits high off the ground making it very easy to get out of and it doesn’t sag like normal camping chairs. it’s still almost 4 feet long when folded so if space is an issue, be warned. about the only negative i dealt with was everyone else wanting to sit in it. just make sure you call seat check!
BL –
I love my chair. It is very easy to set up and close. I am on the fluffier side and feel good sitting in my chair. It has plenty of room and a great height. Many times I would feel self conscious in a smaller chair that had a wt limit at my weight so this is great. Got many compliments on my chair. Saying that, I weigh 235 lbs and the chair holds up to 400 lbs so it might have been a bit much. But the confidence it gives me is priceless.

S. Roddy –
This chair is really wonderful! I bought these online to replace a camp chair that I’d had for ten years that was the same brand. The first chair held up so well, I thought it would be silly to switch to a different kind. As a heavy person, it was nice to find something that would work for me.This chair is definitely taller than my previous one, which is fine. At 5’6″, I don’t really need the height. But I recently bought one for my father-in-law; he’s 6’3″ with bad knees. He finds it much more comfortable to get in and out of this chair since it sits higher than his old folding lawn chairs. Our neighbor who is 59 but who has had a stroke loves these chairs as well; they are easier for him to maneuver into and out of because of the additional height and sturdiness. I just jumped on to order two more for a friend with bad knees, and thought it was only sporting of me to leave a review since I love these chairs so much. After today, I will have ordered six of these, and love them so much!

I LOVE these camp chairs! I have had the smaller version for myself for several years and recently purchased the xxl for my husband as he is much taller. They are he most sturdy camp chairs I have ever purchased! I love the carry strap on the chairs themselves so you do not need to have the bag with you and they stay closed once folded properly. The xxl size is perfect for those that have long legs or are a bit larger overall. Super durable materials and the back is mesh in the middle for some much appreciated airflow. I will definitely purchase these chairs again if/when needed.

Great chair, good support used it for 5 months in SW Arizona this past winter. Wanted a 2nd but it was cheaper to buy the larger (400 lb) than to get the same one I had. Colored coordinated but it’s like I now have a momma bear & papa bear chair.
Amazon Customer Ed –
The best chair on the market, period…especially if you’re a big guy or have a bad back or both (like me). With 3 soccer mad sons, I’m in that thing 6-8 hours a week, 48 weekends a year. Buy this chair. 👍

Going back and forth to kids games. Camping , etc.
Charles Outlaw –
I have never liked this type of chair until I got this one. I hated the sag of the seat and arms and could barely get my big body out of them. This one answers all of those problems. The seat and arms are taut and it is very easy to get up from it. It is definitely for a taller person than my 5’3″ wife and it is heavier than my folding lawn chair. The weight is in the big, wide frame and it is worth the effort to carry it. Bought another one for my son and he loves it too
Wendy –
Very comfortable and easy to get in and out. Never been able to use a folding chair like this before because they have been too low for me.
Michael –
Only xll chair that is sturdy and tall for a bigger guy. I bought the adjustable xl umbrella to attach to it and it works great. Even attach my umbrella to my fold up wagon to cover my stuff if it’s raining. Couldn’t imagine getting a smaller version of either. Super super happy.

The chair is big and roomy. If you are a big person this is a great chair, if on the smaller side like me you can curl up in it, very comfy with a blanket. Well built, easy to open and close. I would recommend this chair.

We love these chairs. They are sturdy and you don’t sink to the ground when you sit in them. Safety button so they won’t fold up on you. Tough bag to store them in. These are tall and very comfortable.
Palm Beach Chick –
Bought this to take to watch my son play soccer. I didn’t need a chair this big for myself but I wanted to just have a nice comfy roomy chair to lounge in and this fit the bill. A bit pricey but worth it and send like it will last for a long time to come!…now — just need to find an umbrella to go with it for those crazy sunny days!..
PATRISA –
Very nice, sturdy & comfortable ! I bought 4 different chairs and This chair was The Best, sent others back. My problem with the “sturdy” chairs was, to get them comfortable size for my behind, the seats were too high off the ground that Only my tiptoes could reach the ground, which mafe the back of my legs hurt, the pressure of the canvas edge of chair cutting into the back of my legs. this chair was tall also, but could mostly touch the floor and the design did Not strain or cut into back of legs

I’ve been looking for a folding chair which is reasonable lightweight, durable and comfortable. This is it. A friend turned me on to this product and I ordered one immediately (after sitting in his).First, this isn’t like most folding chairs. It actually supports your seat and back. When in the open position, the seat is firm. You don’t have to fall out of this chair to stand up like most folding chairs. And it locks in both the open and closed position, so there’s no chance it will collapse and it’s easier to get in its bag. This particular model chair is oversized, which means if your are big and/or tall, you’ll fit. It has larger feet than most chairs, which means it will support more weight on softer ground without sinking. It also has a zippered pocket on one size and dual, oversized cup holders. The fabric is a heavy duty nylon much like you find on well made backpacks. If you want a chair that will last, this is it. Quit buying those $10 chairs from the big box store which only last one or two outings. Spend a little more and get a lot more chair.
Karen and Jen Campbell –
So comfortable! I’m 5’7″ and my feet almost dangle that’s how high the chair is, really is perfect for getting out of it. No seat sagging because of the added bar. It is quite a bit bigger than a standard chair, maybe 8-12″ folded up? And I know my dad who backpacks and is a very simple camper is going to laugh at me but it is so worth it! Not a chair to take on an overnight float but for general camping and park going its perfect. Says it holds up to 400lbs so if a nephew jumps in my lap unexpectedly I’m hoping it can hold up–we will see.
MOE –
THIS CHAIR IS OF GREAT QUALITY. I WANTED A LARGE CHAIR FOR COMFORTABLITY, AND THAT IT WOULD NOT FOLD UP, WHEN YOU SIT IN IT, AND IS EASY TO GET OUT OF. THE FRONT LEGS ARE HIGHER THAN THE BACK LEGS, WHICH CAUSES IT TO SIT TO FAR BACK (AT AN ANGLE). IT IS NOT GOOD FOR SHORT PEOPLE, BUT GREAT FOR HEAVY, TALL, LARGE PEOPLE. I WOULD NEED A PILLOW IN MY BACK TO SIT IN IT FOR SUPPORT. I RETURNED IT.

We were looking for a chair that was comfortable to sit in for longer periods of time…outside at the creek, outdoor parties, etc…that wouldn’t leave our backs aching. We have enjoyed the comfort this chair has offered. It is especially easy to fold and the bag that comes with it is roomy enough that it is easy to put away and take out. We orderd the extra large chair for the additional room it provided, as we didn’t want to sit in a chair without room on each side. The fact that there are 2 sizes of cup holders is also a nice feature. One is big enough to hold our large drink containers and the other is a perfect size for our phones. The bag at the base of the seat is also a nice feature. There’s nothing we could ask for that this chair doesn’t provide!

Bought this chair for my husband. He is a good Sized guy (225 lbs) and is very comfortable in this chair. I bought the regular size version for me (135 lbs 5’6″). I will be giving that one to my daughter and buying another XXL one for me. I love the comfortable roomy size. Just keep in mind that the packable size is a bit larger than a regular camping chair because if this. One thing that is nice is that the chair itself also has a strap attached for carrying. It has been a great base camp chair for when we go Airstreaming.
SeaShip –
This is a great chair. Sturdy and compact. Lock works great. Easy to put in the bag, just fold it up tight and put the bag on the feet first, slide down, and you’re ready to go! It is a little heavy but hey, it’s a big chair! There is a strap on the chair and one on the bag too. I put a cushion on it to make it softer that goes up the back. Very comfortable. We go to beach all the time so it is a great chair for the sand.Just keep it clean and make sure you remove any salt water or sand so it stays foldable. This will last me a long time. And I am glad I got it. You will be too.

After owning this chair a few months it failed. 2nd one, each different points of failure. Complete garbage, avoid. Latch locks up. Rivets pop out. Poorly made not a premium product. When I contacted their customer service to ask about an RMA they gave me the run around. So angry about trusting Kijaro.

This chair is very wide and substantial. I am a large person (fat, not tall) and I feel like a kid in this chair. My husband, also large, likes these very much and said its the only folding chair he has ever sat in that he didn’t worry would collapse. Good thing because he’s the one carrying them around!

Sturdy, bigger that i thought, great color (green), and easy to open! Using as an inside reading chair because i have an injured coxic bone at end of my spine- it’s got a little bit of a tilt-back, which helps keep the pressure of my lower spine. Got it today, seems good so far!

I purchased two of the XXL chairs. First let me say that if you are a short person, this chair is to large for you. I’m 5’0″ (or less) and my feet would not touch the ground. So I returned one for just the XL. And they are great. Comfortable, easy to open and close. My 6’2″ hubby uses the XXL and works will for him.

This is the best folding chair I have found. We have been camping for over 10 years and have gone through many chairs. This one locks into place, it doesn’t sag when you sit, and is very well made. I highly recommend this chair.
Alisha Shaw –
We camp, adventure, sit at sporting events and even just outside and these are the most comfortable chairs we have found. We especially love the XXL for tucking a foot underneath as we sit and just for the comfort of it. The locking fold is great for stability yet easy to click and fold. The first set we bought held up for a years with high use and this is our second set. Don’t hesitate to get these chairs!!

This is my second one of these chairs. Holds up really well 1st one lasted 4 years lots of soccer , baseball, practices and games. Along with camping and hanging out at home.

We were looking for a comfortable portable chair to pull out front with the other neighborhood parents while our kids run around, and these really fit the bill. Mind you, they are BIG. My wife is 5’7” and her feet barely touch the ground! But they feel solid and the slight recline is perfect. Importantly, they don’t force your shoulders forward like most portable camp chairs. They lock and unlock quite easily. The built on carrying strap is handy. But if one of your main desires is portability, I’d consider the smaller version of this chair. Again, they are BIG. But we are very very happy with them.

Great chair, wide and sturdy. Great price and light weight enough to carry
Lisa Y –
This is a quality park chair. I needed something for my parents to more easily get out of, this fits the bill, the seat is taller than many chairs. Also, mesh areas at back keep it feeling cooler in the sun.
Moon Dog –
We have 4 Kijaro chairs, one is the XL. They are built well, and have been used quite a bit other the last 2 yrs. I love the built in should strap, and lock. Wish the folded up a bit more compact, but way better than a bag! We also like how sturdy the seat and back are. You sit on these chairs, rather than sinking into them like a typical bag chair, with no support. Much more comfortable, and less fatigue over long periods.
Amazon Customer –
Comfortable for larger person. Sits a little higher off the ground and bars do not cut into my legs.
Andrea Bigelow –
I bought about 3 chairs from Dick’s Sporting Goods, and every single one of them broke or fell apart. I researched sturdy, reliable chairs, and this one was recommended. I. LOVE. IT. I wish I had bought one sooner. My son plays baseball year ‘round, and this chair beats them all. Get yourself one.
james pawlak –
Big and nice for a big fat guy! My wife’s feet don’t touch the ground….
Bruce R. –
Great chair! Had one for a year and it got stolen so had to get another one.
Courtney –
Purchased less than a year ago and the chair will no longer open. I purchased this chair thinking it would last years and therefore the cost would be worth it. Be careful of the dual locking system. It might just lock you out.

The chair has great support for your back when you’re sitting and is nice and sturdy.

I always get a backache in the regular bag chairs but because these have a sturdy back and seat I no longer get sore after sitting in them. I have several of these chairs and love them.

Got this for my dad. He’s a big guy (about 300lbs) and has trouble getting out of most chairs. He said it was great and nothing has broken or torn or anything yet

These are great chairs for a big fat guy. I’m 6’5″ 390 lb and this is my second chair. first one lasted 3 years and it still going strong. Highly recommended for a tall person. very comfortable.

I love this chair! I bought one three years ago and I’m still using it to this day with no problems. I can honestly say I don’t treat it very well either lol. I bring it to the beach, leave it out in the rain, etc. and it’s still the best chair! One thing is it’s a little hard to close up, but that could be due to me leaving out in the rain. My whole family loves these chairs. All together we have about 7 about of them.

Very sturdy well made chair….friends are starting to get together in parks where we bring our own chairs so that we can maintain our distance. This chair is easily transportable and quick to set up. Love it

We loved these. They are really sturdy compared to others we have tried. Not too heavy to carry. Great for the beach or the backyard.

I can’t say enough about this chair. I had back surgery eight months ago. I am 6’2″ and weigh 240. I can’t use a regular camp chair because they are much too low. Actually, they were always too low but I just sucked it up. I got this for a three day camping trip and I am thrilled. It is a great size. I sit in it like it is a throne. Not only is the seat high enough, the depth of the seat–front of seat to the back rest–is also sized up so there isn’t anything to cut into the back of the thigh to cut off circulation. I am thinking about getting another one so I can have one for my patio and one just dedicated for camping.

MY BROTHER IS 415 POUNDS AND HE IS HAPPY WITH THE CHAIR FOR NOW.
Melissa A Ledbetter –
This is a great chair for taller and heavier individuals. It is well made and doesn’t give like other folding chairs. This chair is for tall people 6’1 and over. If you are shorter, your feet will dangle. The chair arrived quickly. It stands tall and is much wider than any of the other camping chairs we have found.
Mark G. Ellis –
I will start by saying this: I own 4 of the Kinaro XXL chairs. I am 6’1” 275 and what I love is their build and sturdiness, zero flex when my big butt sits down or gets up. I want these chairs to be amazing and have loved all of them…… except my recent purchase. The seams in the seat have begun to tear away and are ripping. This was after one day of using and I was the only one on the chair. I see recent purchases by others with the same issue. I’m not sure if manufacturing was changed or if corners have been cut a little to improve profit margins, but this is not the same chair that I fell in love with. When I say I love these chairs, I literally put on a salesmanship/infomercial at whatever event I am at, about the chairs.I will be seeking a replacement and refund.

This is the last chair I purchased in a series of failed attempts. I weigh 360# and this is the best chair I have ever purchased. It had lasted me 2 seasons of softball and is still as good as the day it arrived. I have chronic back pain and this provides support and is actually comfortable for an entire day of games. IF I need to buy a chair again, this will be the brand I purchase.

John Russell, Author –
My second one of these chairs. I’m six foot and a big guy, and this is one of the most comfortable chairs I’ve ever sat in. Easy to transport to outdoor events, easy to set up and fold back up. When done using it outdoors I bring mine inside so that the weather doesn’t deteriorate it. (It takes a loooong time for that to happen…I had one before and I left it outside 24 hours a day every day through the rain, sun, winter cold, etc., and the fabric eventually deteriorated…it still continued to hold my wait, but I didn’t want to push my luck so ordered a new one.) The little storage pouch is handy, and the drink holders are great at outdoor events! I highly recommend this product!
John M. Williams –
A member of the family needed a new beach/outdoor chair and said this was the most comfortable one she has sat in during the last year and really wanted one. She was delighted with the gift. And after seeing it unwrapped and in use, I think I have found a replacement chair for me, too.

This chair is wide enough that I can curl up in it (my favorite reading position). It is still light and I can easily fold it and carry it about, but usually make my husband do it for me. It folds up to a fairly slim size, but is still very long, meaning it is not going to be the most compact thing you own.If you are looking at the regular sized Kijaro Dual Lock Folding chair, I definitely recommend upgrading to this size. I have both chairs and the regular size just sits in our garage now – this one is really that much better.

As a tall person with long legs, this chair is excellent. I am 5’11” and I can sit comfortably without the chair structure pinching my hips and it sits much much higher off the ground. My shorter partner (he’s 5’7″) feels uncomfortable in the chair because of how high it sits off the ground. The back of the chair hits just at the base of my neck. The locking mechanism is important to pay attention to. Once the chair is open, you must press the button to release it! Very bulky to carry and heavy but for the amount of comfort in a camp chair, I’d say it is worth it. Of the 2 cup holders, only one is a big cup holder. It would be nicer to have both be big but I’ll deal!Seriously, stop fooling around with those stupid cheap camp chairs and treat your body to something comfortable!

This is a fabulous chair. It’s super sturdy, very comfortable, fold easily, and is relatively light to carry. I love the pink color! So why did I return it? I’m 5’4″, and this chair sits comically high. I was unable to reach my feet to the ground without stretching, and even then I could only touch my toes to the carpet. But if you are taller than I am, definitely get this chair!

We love this chair so much that we came back and bought 3!!! They are sturdy and hold up for years! The base seat it nice because it is tight and doesn’t ‘sling’ like a lot of portable chairs, making it tough to get out of. These are sturdy and large! We use them every weekend and keep them in the car for when we go to friends or use them on the porch. They have been used for a while now, and show no wear or tear!

We bought 2 of these in the XXL version (rated for 400#). Very comfortable and easy setup. However, the stitching failed after 6 weeks on both and within days of each other. Returns are a real problem: UPS wants $27.50 to package each! That’s more than ½ of the purchase price!Update: Unable to reach AMAZON by phone. No reps available due to virus. Have initiated credit card dispute. I refuse to pay for this poorly made product!Update: finally reached someone at Amazon. After threatening Big A with legal action, they agreed to a full refund w/o returning the defective product.

I Highly recommend them. Unfortunately my wife would give you another opinion. She is a little bit on the short side and her feet do not touch the floor. She also did not like that the back wasn’t straight but at an angle. She made me send hers back. I was sad…I really have been enjoying the one I got however. They seem kind of expensive, but have ALL the bells and whistles a folding chair can have. The locking device is amazing, and there is a over the shoulder strap on the chair and on the bag, so no matter how you are carrying it, you always can fling it over your shoulder. Seems very well built and has STRONG fabric unlike some of those cheap chairs that you get at the blue superstore we all know. Anyway, I hope you buy one to try it out!!

I wanted a larger chair, but this was is just a little bigger than I would have normally chosen. That said, this is very solid all around. Would buy again, but in next size down. If perhaps you are north of 250lbs you should consider this one.

This will be the third set of these chairs we have bought. They are VERY sturdy and hold up to the weather very well. My oldest set is 6 years old and just this year the rivets are failing.Would I buy another set ? You betcha. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I got this for my husband who’s a big guy, for part of his Christmas present. I had a less expensive one but this had a higher weight limit and while the other would have worked, I didn’t want him to be on the edge. So glad I returned the other one. This one is easy to open/close, large and roomy and he says feels very comfortable. It feels quite sturdy to him. He uses it when he goes fishing. He did mention that when he sits in it all day it does rub against his leg a bit so I bought a thick seat cushion for him…but he’s in it ALL day when he goes fishing. For normal outings and usage it’s perfect as is. I highly recommend it.

This chair blows the old folding chairs out of the water. When you sit in it you are fully supported, and it does not sag or give the way other option do. Be warned, this is a HUGE chair. Not just unfolded, but folded as well (probably 4 feet long). Its not heavy, but its bulky… im a big guy (6 feet 250) and its almost too big for me, but I like it 🙂

This is the best chair ever if you have extra pounds or if you’re a senior and find it hard to get up from the lower height, normal low price folding chairs. I ordered this as a replacement. My original was left outside in the weather for 3+ (non-baseball) months.
Uncle Dubs –
It is big but give the most support of any chair I’ve tried. I have other great camp chairs, but they all have that “slump” feeling. this tight has a taut seat and back and you fee like you’re sitting on a chair, not a hammock. I’m 6′-2 and this chair is perfect for me. It’s a little big for my wife, who is 5′-7″. Heavier than your normal camp chair, but that is not a concern for me. Perfect for kids sporting events and, yes, camping.

Great portable folding chair for tall big people. Sturdy and plenty of room. Double locking prevents collapsing.
Chris L Butcher –
I’m a bigger dude (6’2″ – 275) and many chairs rated for my size don’t last more than 6 months. This one has shown no signs of stopping! All of the seams are holding strong and that is always the first place to show wear.PROS: Holds me up with no problems. Two cup holders and one is larger size. Extra zipper pocket on side. Locking open and closed allows for carrying with strap and no need to bag every time.CONS: The leg posts can cut into the back of your legs if you don’t watch out (putting a towel over them fixes it easily). If you are shorter, your legs won’t reach the ground as this is higher than normal. My wife is 5’4″ish and her feet dangle if she tries to use this.
myles –
I really like the lock open, lock closed feature. Overall I think this is a comfortable chair with pretty good construction. Pay attention to the specs as it is about 6″ longer when folded than the average chair. I also like the fact that the firm seat makes egress far easier. I am skeptical of the 400 lb claim, I weigh 250 and find it to be sturdy at my weight and would probably give it another 50 lbs, but I think 400 is ambitious.
LMT/mom of 4 –
Love the color. I got the xxl because it was cheaper than the regular size. I feel like I’m sitting in a giant oversize chair even though it’s not much bigger/taller than a regular one. I still like it though. Just wish the price didn’t change based on color
Wendy Bowers –
We ordered these after breaking several cheap quad chairs. I wouldn’t want to have to pack them very far but for camping they are wonderful. Comfortable, sturdy and well designed. Unlike a lot of quad chairs, you don’t feel like there’s a bar running across the front that digs into the back of your legs.
ZJB –
The chair seems to be well made and has the unique feature I was looking for of having a carry strap attached directly to the chair. (The carrying bags all seem to rip within just a few uses, no matter the brand, so I was looking for this specifically.) I chose the XXL for a few reasons, 1. It was actually cheaper than the regular size chair when I placed my order, 2. My current chair that I am replacing has two different size cup holders, which has come in handy, and 3. I figured the larger size would just give me a little more room as I often have a kiddo or two climbing on my lap during my older son’s soccer games. As much as I wanted to like the chair, I had to return it. It was just WAY, too big! I am 5’4′, and when the chair is in the bag it comes to my shoulders. When I actually sat in it my feet did not even touch the ground if I was sitting back comfortably against the back of the chair. It was even big for my husband, who is 5’10”, although he didn’t look like a little kid sitting in it the way I did. I sent it back and purchased the standard size chair (which is also surprisingly tall and heavy, but it will work).

These are the best chairs. I spend a lot of time watching kids play sports, and this chair supports your back. You also don’t sink into it where you cant get back out of it. Those $10 chairs just don’t even compare. I love the locking mechanism and strap bc I really hate having to shove chairs back into the back although I do it Most of the time. Buy this chair bc you’ll love it. Go ahead and get the XL so you have extra room.
Christy Matchell –
Absolutely love it very sturdy I am not a small person most lawn chairs sway and fall apart fast but this one is so much more sturdy and easy to take down and set up
DLP –
My husband is 6’5” and finds a tall chair like this to be better for him then the regular size chairs. We used to purchase ours from Dicks but they don’t sell them any longer. The only issue we’ve had is that you can’t leave the chair set up in the elements or the folding mechanism gets frozen. Other then that we’ve found this to be a well made chair.

We purchased the XXL chair in July 2019. We have it outside on our front porch. My husband loved it so much, I bought another size for me. Unfortunately, today, when he sat in the chair, the seat ripped and shredded at the seat seam. Disappointed it only lasted 8 months. Also noticed most of the bolts are rusting.

Update after some months of occasional camping trips: I am entirely excited about this thing. It is very comfortable, and has held up well to the several camping trips I’ve taken it on. My only reservation is that at this price, I expect it to last several years, which I just can’t know yet. And the similar structure chairs I had last (Coleman Max) all ended up braking way too soon for their price. The locking feature has grown on me. It’s nice how it holds the chair solidly open, and it holds it closed well enough to be usable for carrying (although a bit of string would work better). The thing about my heels being off the ground while barefoot on a flat floor has been a complete non issue, and has probably contributed to being more comfortable. Also, this design is less prone to tipping backwards when you’re facing uphill.Best of all, I can fit my girlfriend and my drum in my lap at the same time. I ordered a second one. Mostly because it packs down smaller than my director’s chair.Initial impressions: I bought it because I’ve had several chairs that were structurally very similar from Coleman, which I loved for their comfortable back angle, but which all ended up tearing due to structural problems. So when I saw these, I got excited that somebody may have fixed those problems. But I don’t think they did. I think the solution to that problem will be to make the fabric two pieces, like in a director’s chair. Also, I’m real skeptical about the locking mechanism. Another annoyance about my similar Coleman Max chairs is that it doesn’t take long to get dirt in the sliding mechanism, making them a pain to open. And those don’t even have locks to get gunked up. And the Coleman ones had a nice strap and buckle to hold them together for carrying, which did a much better job of holding everything snugly than this locking mechanism does. Also, I’m 6’1″, and my heels are half an inch off the ground in this. Which seems silly, but hasn’t seemed like a problem yet.I buy beefy camping chairs because being able to support my girlfriend in my lap is important to me.The only thing I’ve found that I have real confidence in lasting is Timber Ridge Director’s Chairs. But they are *way* more bulky folded up.

After throwing away far too many cheap chairs, I decided to invest in a couple of these and I’m so glad I did. These chairs are sturdy and solid and I feel they will withstand whatever my family puts them through. I gave four stars for comfort only for the fact that I’m short (5’3″ on a good day) and my feet don’t really touch the ground. If they sold a footstool, I’d absolutely buy it. 🙂 For anyone taller than I am, this shouldn’t be an issue. If you’re on the fence, buy the chair – you’ll love it!
Sheryl –
Being a parent of a baseball and soccer player I needed a chair that would give me great support plus comfort and that is exactly what I found in this chair. With long time back issue, including one surgery, I needed a chair that would not sag and give me comfortable support during the long games. This chair does just that. It may be a little over sized but it offered a larger cup holder. The side pocket is handy for putting a team line up in for quick reference and hiding a little stash of cash that all parent know comes in handy during or after a game. Love this chair and will be ordering and additional one soon.

I am no giant. Why I thought I had to have this XXL chair, IDK! This chair was almost as tall as I am. I am 5′ 8″. The chair came to at least my jaw! This thing is super heavy too. But if you are a giant, that should not be an issue. If you are short (I am not short) you will not be able to get into this chair…well I guess you could. You would just look like Edith Ann (you know…Lilly Tomlin in a HUGE chair!). I had to return these chairs…my feet don’t even hit the ground when I climbed into the chair to sit. Would totally recommend this chair for giants. Maybe give Iron a call. I am pretty sure he likes to camp.

I just now got around to using the chair. Set it up for the first time at my nephew’s soccer match. It’s nice and big, sets up real easy, and real simple to get back in the bag to transport. It was extremely windy, however the chair stayed upright and didn’t tip or blow over when I needed to step away.I would have rated it a 5 if it wasn’t for the tear I discovered in the fabric piece that covers the left side of the seat back. I should of unpacked this and checked it for defects when it arrived.

this thing is built really nice and has high weight capacity. what i don’t like is the front cross bars are too narrow at the opening and they hurt the bottom of my legs. it makes the chair very uncomfortable. i think this chair would be awesome for a tall skinny person, but if you’re a heavier person with big thighs, the crossbars will cause discomfort. i also ordered the regular sized kijaro dual lock chair and it does not have this problem with the front crossbars. it is a bit smaller, but is much more comfortable in my opinion. if they redesigned this chair to have the front crossbars out a little bit wider or going straight up and down rather than crossing, this would be the perfect chair.

Husband is 6’4′, large framed guy….He was thrilled to sit in chair. Due to raised seat height, his knees were not pushed up and there is plenty of space for him to sit on the seat in comfort. Would recommend for anyone who has football player types in their family/group. I am 5’3, and my feet did not touch the ground…just an fyi… These chairs are substantial and pretty heavy…just be aware. We are happy to have one XXL and one regular size for the upcoming concert season.

as described-GREAT chair, very comfortable

this is a great chair. I am 6 foot 6In and this is a comfortable chair

I had the same brand chair for years and it finally broke. Bought this new one and it is bigger and stronger.
Handygirl –
I bought this chair for my husband who has trouble getting up from most folding chairs. He loves this chair. It is a great height, the arms are sturdy enough for him to push against as he gets up and the chair has a wide comfortable seat. It is also heavier than most folding chairs and that contributes to the sturdy feel. If you are a large person or someone who needs some height to a chair, then this chair is a perfect choice.

Just purchased these! They came recommended by family members. What I love is they’re built too for plus size so they’re roomy and comfortable! The biggest A+ is they’re taller! They sit off the ground much higher! Yey!! Highly recommend!

I’m 6’2 280 pds. If you see the picture, in the front you can see the bar going across. This bars was digging into me right above the knees. It makes the seat narrow for me. Bugged me enough that I just repacked it and going to send it back to Amazon. Otherwise, the chair is a little heavy which I assume it means it is sturdy but the front bar was just not comfortable for me. I’m going to be using this at the beach and park sites for when my kids have sporting games so I don’t want to carry a cushion around with me.

Product arrived with the box seriously damaged and the integrity of a load bearing section damaged as well as its frayed where a pole will rest. I don’t have the wherewithal to return and try again but I am assuming that this will not last as long as otherwise because of the damage at a stress point that purports to be good for larger people.
Dougie –
These chairs are great. Super comfortable, easy to unfold, sturdy, bigger than normal chairs and light weight. Must have for outdoor use.

I absolutely love this chair! It is very sturdy and comfortable. I am a large man and i rate this chair “massive ass certified”

Strong, wide, and tall. Flat bottom seat supports my back well. I’m 6′ tall and 300 lb.’s and this chair holds me just fine. Love this chair! I’m going to buy another one.

Wonderful chairs, longer legs make them easy to get out off!!! Comfy with no sag

Best folding chair I have ever purchased. Very sturdy
Amazon Customer –
Very good quality! This is a large chair that’s best for taller people. If you’re under 5’10” your feet may not touch the ground. Great chair for me and will probably last for 10 years or more.

My husband told me that he never felt comfortable and folding chairs, so I did a lot of research for a Father’s Day Gift. He is 6’3”, 215 pounds but always felt like the chairs were going to collapse. I gave him this chair today for an event and he said that it is the first time he’s ever been comfortable in a folding chair. He was able to get in and out comfortably, recline comfortably, and comfortable with our son in his lap. I could not be more excited by this gift, he already said we need to get it for our parents. I would also like to say that I am 5’9” and am very comfortable. My toes touch, but I can also swing my feet. The XL is definitely made for the tall. And the ease of set up and break down is GREAT!

Best camping chair ever. Totally comfortable and sturdy. Only negative thing is I wish they folded down a little smaller.
FortePorte –
These are the best folding chairs of all time. My 270-lb husband LOVES his XXL chair. I like how it doesn’t sink in too much, and the carrying strap is attached to the chair instead of a carrying bag, though a bag does come with it. One arm rest has room for an extra large cup in the cup holder, and the other arm rest accommodates a more regular size beverage. Notice the venting in the back rest too? Huge bonus!
Computer Guy –
I have used the Kijaro regular sized Dual Lock Portable Camping and Sports Chair for 3 years and use it very often going to track meets and other events as well as camping. It worked well but was never big and high enough for me. The XXL model is much more comfortable. I’m 6″ 5″ and weigh 260 and my hips do not touch the sides, It is tall enough that my knees are level with my hips and the back is also taller providing nice support. The tubular frame is a slightly larger diameter than the regular size but the fasteners are the same aluminium type as my last chair and two of those rivets have broken. You can fix this with a machine screw and locking nut or loctite but this seems to be the only design flaw with these chairs. The great comfort and reasonable price outweigh the design flaw and I would reccomend this chair to any tall person.

Great gift, makes you feel like your sitting on a kings throne
Gloria Warrick –
I purchased this for my son for his birthday. My grand daughter was a cheerleader and we would go and watch her at the football games she cheered at. There were 3 adults who went to watch her and my son only had 2 sturdy camping chairs and 1 very small flimsy chair. My son is a big guy and he would always offer to take the wimpy chair and I was worried it would collapse on him. So I got him this chair so he doesn’t have to sit in the wimpy chair ever again. This chair is very sturdy and comfortable and he feels safe sitting in it. We jokingly call it his outdoor “throne” because he won’t let anyone else sit in it.
Jonathan Waldoch –
I have been using this chair ice fishing all season and have always had a place for my beer and my rod, and a comfortable seat!
plevine –
Wow! Big, genreously sized chairs that are actually lightweight enough to carry. Easy to set up, comfortable to sit in with a bunch of compartments to tuck things into and hold drinks, etc. Not so easy to fit into their carrying cases but once they are in, they are easy to shlep around.
Steven D. Debner –
I bought these chairs as someone I knew had these chairs and I was very impressed. Very pleased with sturdiness of chair and the comfort as well
Marymartha Becher –
We have thrown out so many cheaper versions of collapsible chairs. My husband and I are both tall and not tiny people, and this chair is really fantastic. It is comfortable and so much sturdier than so many others. A big thumbs up!
Sports mom –
Love these chairs. We have been buying this brand for at least five years now. We just keep adding to our collection of them. My husband and I are sitting in these chairs every weekend for hours on end sometimes and they are so comfy. I highly recommend these chairs if you have kids in sports.
JDKC –
Over-engineered is a good thing in this case. Sturdy, smart design, BIG (I bought one size too large) comfortable. Locks are handy but are fiddly at first. Friends have some of these so I know they are durable too.
William R. Gibson –
Great chair. Oversized and well put together.
Adam C. Newhall –
On time, as expected
MeShelle –

I have been camping for over 35 years. And I mean all summer long, I’m a teacher. I’m 6’4″ 230Lbs and this is the best chair I have ever bought. The extra height and width is awesome. The vented back keeps your back from sweating. Extra large cup holder for holding something larger then a pop or beer can.

I didn’t fully read the reviews so this is probably on me, but as others have stated in the Q&A, this thing does not sit low to the ground. That’s great for some, but not great for those with short legs, like me. I feel like a kid getting in dad’s chair. I have a 27” inseam, if that gives you any indication. My other gripe is the locking mechanism failed on me a few weeks after purchase. You can still get it to lock but it has to be push into place instead of popping into place. I guess the spring failed. At least it’s getting some use. My wife has long legs. She loves it.

Amazon Customer –
I had hopes this no-seat-sag, big comfy chair would be THE camp/event chair for me…but no. Although I’ve had this chair for over a year, since day one it’s been difficult to open/deploy and impossible to fold. So disappointing because once it is open, it’s super comfy, but good luck folding it! This chair’s mechanics are so fussy, I usually have to ask someone – or two – to help me get the darn thing collapsed! No, just no, don’t buy this chair unless you like cursing and frustration.

I love it, it feels great and it not to big to carry to the fields.

I was excited for this chair and spent almost double than I was looking for. I used it once at the beach and put it away indoors due to covid 19. Now a year and a month later I got it out and it will not open the locking plastic that slides during opening and closing looks as though it rusted or something. Of course it is out of warranty and there is nothing I can do except maybe save you all the wasting of your money.

Nice sturdy chair—I wish it was even taller but it’s great to have a camp chair that doesn’t make standing up feel like crawling out of a hole. Wish it came in purple too—had to buy a smaller size to get that color.

great chair! I would definitely buy again . It is the tallest chair I’ve have ever seen ,which is exactly what I wanted! sturdy and well made! worth every penny..i will be ordering another🙂

I’m a big guy-300 lbs some days. I can’t trust the cheap discount folding chairs to hold me, especially if I’m not super careful. I have had a Kijaro for several years, it’s endured much abuse and still works like new. Bought this one because I wanted another to match. If I needed another chair like this, I’d get another one.

Edit: The company did offer a new bag, but didn’t have pink in stock. They sent me a red one to use in the mean time. The pink one arrived today. Awesome!Bought two of these in January, almost 5 months ago. We have used them maybe 10 times in the grass at the park. Really love the chairs. The csreting bag for one of them has a large hole at the bottom seam where it was sewn too close to the edge of the fabric. The inside raw seam frayed and the seam opened up. I’ve just emailed Kijaro. Will update if/when I hear from them. Hoping for a replacement bag.

This chair is amazing and sturdy and fold and unfolds so easily! I bought it for my son who is 8. I kept buying those $10-20 chairs and they were not comfortable and they kept breaking so I decided enough is enough and wanted to have something that was durable and would last. Great product!!!
Malynda Davis –
This product is exactly as described! It’s not just some flimsy $5.00 chair! It’s very sturdy and large! Love this thing!
Heather Lund –
I bought this not expecting how large it would be but we love it. It’s extremely comfortable and the higher back is perfect! My kids fought over it when it was opened and tested and set up a rest spot including pillow and blanket. I would recommend this chair.

If you need a sturdy chair for countless kids’ sports game, get this! Very comfortable as you don’t “sink” into it and get a sore back. The vents help to keep you so cool in the summer. Cup holders are perfect because the chair is so sturdy, your drink does not tip at all. Best money spent in 2017! Wish I had these from 1998 to 2015!!!!

This will be the third set of these chairs we have bought. They are VERY sturdy and hold up to the weather very well. My oldest set is 6 years old and just this year the rivets are failing.Would I buy another set ? You betcha. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great Chair. This is my second one. They hold up well but they will break after a few seasons. I bought these because I’m 6’4, 290. I wish there was a company that would make a bullet proof one and just charge for it. Buy once cry once. I’d by happy to pay for the quality and longevity.

update 10-4-17 well after 9 months of occasional use the chair split while my wife sat in it. she is 160 pounds and the only person who ever uses this chair. it performed well up to this point. she had mentioined that the stitching was unraveling on the seems some, but we didnt expect this. because of the light use we put it thru and it dieing so suddenly, i cant recommend this chair anymore.original review :im 430 and it handles me. easy to get out of also. I dont even have to use the handles to get up. I highly recommend.

Mu husband is 6’5 and I thought that he might like the extra height on this chair. He didn’t. However we took it on our family camp trip and shortly after setting it up, it disappeared. I didn’t think too much about it until the next day when I went to visit family on another camp site and there was my chair and sitting on it was my mom’s 80+ year old cousin AKA Canadian Grandma. She loved the chair. The taller profile made it much easier for her to get in and out of it and the mess back kept her cool. She used the chair all weekend and I sent her the link when we got home so she could buy her own. It was very sturdy and comfortable. The only thing I don’t like about it is when it is folded, the legs are not even so it won’t stand up.

We love these chairs. Large, sturdy, good carry handle, easy to lock, and look nice. We get compliments on them almost every time we open them up at the ball field. The only negatives are the weight and a little bit of difficulty locking the chair when closed. All-in-all, a great chair and highly recommended.

Great chair! I ordered the blue, but gray arrived. Sent it back for a correct color. Only downfall is it’s made in China… I’m not a fan of that, but it appears to be a solid chair and sturdy for a big guy like me!
Carol McSwain, North Carolina –
exactly what my husband needed to use at ball games. he is a big man and needed the extra room and strength found in this chair.
BALUGA PHIL –
This is the 4th big and tall chair I have purchased in 2 years. So far it is my favorite. By the way I still have 2 other chairs that are usable. The one that bit the dust was a Coleman whose frame bent. All the chairs had a 400 to 500 lbs rating. I am 6’1″ and 380 lbs, not that I should be but that’s life. I like this chair because it is taller than the others so it’s easier to get out of. I don’t care for the lock button but it hasn’t caused a problem so far. I use the chair for reading and having morning coffee outside. It sits fine on my driveway and lawn. The drink pockets are fine and 2 sizes fit many bottles or cans. I had it for over a month with every other day use and haven’t had any problems with it. I’m giving it only 4 stars because the seat is kind of hard. The position is OK but after a while you can feel the front cross braces under your thighs. Not a major problem for me but if you are shorter it could affect you. I suppose you can add a seat cushion if you need it. I would give it another 1/2 star because it is available in a few colors which is rare. all in all I highly recommend this chair if you are big and tall. The other chairs I use are the ALPS King Kong and a big boy chair from the big”C” Outfitters. The ALPS review is on Amazon and I gave it 4 stars. The big boy rates about the same or 3 and a 1/2 stars.

Kevin P Kirby –
Love this chair. Sits high, slight recline and great for a full size man. The locking during open and close is a love/hate relationship.

Excellent. Arrived promptly and is as described.

I’m 6’6″ and 250lbs plus. I also tend to plop down on chairs and have broken several recreational chairs. But this one is a beast. It not only holds up to 400lbs but is also considerably bigger and more roomy than it’s lesser counterparts. I have 2 of these for me and have bought 2 more as gifts for family. Word of caution though – make sure you do not force the chair open. It has a quick release on the side and if you don’t depress it, you can mess the chair up when you “Heman” it open anyway. I did this on my first chair and it now wobbles a little. But, this was completely my fault. It’s a great chair!
andrea227 –
A friend had this one on a camping trip and everyone wanted to order them while we were there. I did order mine then and it is the most comfortable chair to have. It would not be good if you are short as it does sit higher than most and it is a little bigger to carry around too but definitely more comfortable than the smaller versions.
S.S. –
Best camping chair ever made. This is my third. I need backups because my friends keep stealing mine. Once you sit in one of these, you’ll never buy another brand… ever. Buy extras. I have to stop telling people to try it out. I end up sitting on a cooler the rest of the night.

Fabulous chairs. Wide seat great comfort even though we are not 400 pounds. High back support ….love them! 2 red, two grey, two blue

My husband is 6’5” and finds a tall chair like this to be better for him then the regular size chairs. We used to purchase ours from Dicks but they don’t sell them any longer. The only issue we’ve had is that you can’t leave the chair set up in the elements or the folding mechanism gets frozen. Other then that we’ve found this to be a well made chair.
leodess –
Love how tall these chairs are! Not the back, but the seat from the ground. The locking mechanism is a bit awkward. When folded up the chair cannot stand on it’s own as the legs are not all the same length. Overall a great chair. I went and orded a second one I like them so much.

I bought this chair last summer, and used it about 10 times. it worked fine, and I was satisfied wit the product. I stored it away in the garage for the winter. Due to COVID, I did not try to use it until August, but when I did, it would not open. It seems to have nothing to do with the locking mechanism. The legs, which should slide freely through the frame, are binding. I managed to open it with a heavy dose of wd-40 and a rubber hammer, but a folding chair that has to be forced open and closed this way is pretty useless.

This is a great chair. This is the fourth one our family has owned. They last a long time and are both sturdy and comfortable. I’m a big guy and the size is perfect. Totally worth the price plus the price is less than most chairs of this quality.
M. Morris –
We LOVE these chairs. My husband is 6’5″ and normal sized camp chairs are just too small and uncomfortable for him. These are sturdy, comfortable, and fold up easily. The bag they come in is sturdy too and is holding up great. We keep a pair in the garage to sit in while our kids play in the driveway and we keep another pair in the back of my van for picnics, trips to the lake, etc.
inquirer –
i needed this particular color. it is quite comfortable, wider than most, a little heavier (but the structure is quite strong). and overall a good buy.
SlamDunken –
The chairs are great for about a year. The cloth material has stretched and ripped in several places due to lots of use. Some screws have fallen out that attach the metal supports. Good purchase if you don’t plan to use for more than a few years.

PT in Austin –
This is the best chair ever if you have extra pounds or if you’re a senior and find it hard to get up from the lower height, normal low price folding chairs. I ordered this as a replacement. My original was left outside in the weather for 3+ (non-baseball) months.

Tammy Fuchs –
This chair is fantastic…I’m 5’6″ and around 325#. I was not afraid to sit in this chair, it was very sturdy and comfortable. Other chairs in this style would usually hurt the bottom of my thighs with the bar but this was great. Its a little taller than most so I kind of had to get on my tippy toes to get my butt in the seat but once i was in I could sit up straight and my feet just touch the ground. The bottom of the legs are wider so I won’t sink into the mud or sand and need pulled out. The only negative was the color…in the pic it looks like a dark greenish blue but its mostly just green…but a lovely shade of green.

This is a big boy chair. FANTASTIC. Lots of room for a 300lb guy. I feel like this is a firm, solid foundation for a chair I have not felt in years since the “king of the beach” from Walmart about 5 years ago. It’s the right height for an aging person, not too close to the ground. The color is unique. Not like everyone else’s in the world. 2 different size cup holders- way cool for my Yeti 30oz cup or that Budweiser!

Chair 2 of 2: We bought two of these chairs in May of 2019. My initial thoughts were, WOW! It was an amazing chair. It folded and unfolded easily, the seat itself was sturdy, not the type that dips in, so it made getting in and out easy. We used it camping a couple times and took them with us to a couple bbq’s.We take care of our gear. Store them in the garage or shed, and away from the elements when not in use. Then 3-4 months of ownership (August 2019), one of the chairs decided not to open. It was jammed closed. Prying the two legs apart with two hands was impossible when you need a hand to press the unlock button. So I then had someone hold the button while I attempted to open the chair, but they just got in the way.Out of frustration I broke the locking mechanism off and forced the legs apart. I have no clue why this chair was acting up, maybe dirt got into the part that slides down the leg when I flipped it upside down for bagging. We only used it a hand full of times. I still have force open this chair most of the time today. And the second chair is now doing the same (January 2020).

The regular chair my wife has works great. The XXL did not even make a 1/2 dozen outings before it quit working. This is the second Kijaro XXL chair I have bought. The first one quit folding up on the first outing and was exchanged for the one I just threw in the trash. The chairs open with no problem but are hard to close. I thought using the second chair would break in and fold up easy like the wife’s non-XXL version. No, it got harder and harder to close and then quit folding altogether. I brought it home to try and fix it. I replaced all the bolts, nuts, washers, and rivets. While doing so I found the factory drill holes were not centered correctly, wallowed out, and bolts bent where brute force was used at the factory to force alignment. Even with the new hardware the chair would lock open just fine but refused to close. I tinkered, oiled, and adjusted but no matter what I did I could not restore the chair to working order. So unless they re-engineer the chair it’s good to open but won’t close.

I have tailbone issues and back issues and was looking for a camp chair that I could sit in for a long period of time without becoming uncomfortable. My husband is VERY tall and fairly heavy and needed a chair that was taller with a good back height AND was sturdy enough to carry his weight. We both wanted chairs we would not sink down into and that we wouldn’t have trouble getting out of. When I found Kijaro, it was the answer to both of our needs. I found a place to purchase them locally and went out that very day to buy two. We just recently purchased our 9th and 10th chairs. Only ONE has broken over the years and that was because two adults with a combined weight of about 450 pounds were horsing around in it. NOT the chair’s fault. We have several at our seasonal camp site and when visitors sit in them, they always ask what they are and where we got them. I will never buy any others!

Love this chair! Took it camping it works perfectly. The larger size means the back is higher than a normal camping chair, so my head rests on the back. Such a huge difference in comfort to be able to rest my head. Also very high quality materials, and well made. The material in the back allows for air flow, so you don’t get as uncomfortable, even in warm weather. Would absolutely purchase again if the price was right.

We attend a lot of baseball games and soccer games, I will never buy another brand of chair. This chair is comfortable and roomy and just the right angle for my back.

The product description should point out more prominently how very large the bag and this chair is. At about 48′ tall the chair and bag does not even want to lay flat in the trunk of my not small SUV. This is really big compared to my prior heavyweight chair. And furthermore, I can’t believe that just in case anybody missed that I am a big guy, that the bag has prominently embroidered not just the company name, but they chose to add the embarrassing additional description that it is the “Kijaro XXL’. Pretty insensitive to their customers.

Best outdoor chair I have ever owened. Very sturdy and secure.

O. M. G. I run a lot. Trails. Races. Always looking for a place to sit to change shoes change socks or just relax for a bit. The extra large is amazing because even though I’m kind of tall my feet hang about a half an inch off the ground if I lean back to give them a rest. The no sag seating is also a great feature this thing is easy comfortable lightweight and the price is right and way better than those super expensive ones. I rarely write reviews but this thing is really unbelievable and I’m telling all my friends who run trails with me to buy one because it beats the hell out of sitting on gravel in between loops out on the dirt and I can’t think of a better place to relax after a 5k or half marathon.

This chair is great! Comparing it to regular camping chairs, this chair is tall in height, the back is taller, the seat is wider and the seat does not sag, not even alittle.I bought this chair for my husband who is 6’3 and a big dude. My husband was in a bad accident in his younger years and is basically the bionic man. Getting out of low sagging camping chair every time we went somewhere wasn’t pretty and it hurt him. I was so happy with the chair that I bought one for myself, both bright yellow because they were the cheapest. Everyone always asks to try them out and someone always threatens to steal them.

Love this chair! Sturdy and comfortable!!!!
M. Duclos –
This chair is great except it doesn’t lock closed like it is supposed to which makes it very awkward to carry. And that’s part of the benefit of a folding chair this to be able to carry it! I assumed it had to be placed in the bag each time but then I saw that it has a handle on the chair for carrying and cane back to the description and saw that is is in fact supposed to lock closed. Disappointing to have a defective chair

This is my second purchase of this chair because it’s so comfortable and roomy! I highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

Perfect width, love the strength of the poles and the lockable side bar, which keeps it together while folded up. However right where the bars come out of the seat the cushion presses down and your thighs are pressed into the V of the chair just a little bit more. Normally you might ignores this feeling, but the longer i sat in the chair the more I began to feel it. This is the only reason this review did not receive 5 stars. A huge highlight is the tall back chair!!! I’m 6’5″ 361 lbs and have enjoyed it thus far, and know you will too unless you don’t want those bars pressing into your legs.
Victor M –
These chairs are awesome. Received one as a gift a year ago. Do not take them to the beach sand and salt destroyed my original. (Wouldn’t collapse (or open!) sand got stuck inside the supports) So I got two to match in this pretty cool looking like green color. Not bad!
Jacob Lamb –
AWFUL chair! I ordered these and have used them 2 TIMES and the bolts are starting to rust already! The bolts are coming loose as well and rattles. Two. Days!! Its insanity! I figured for that price they would use stainless or galvanized bolts for quality and rust inhibition, but no. I have reached out for a warranty claim so we will see what they say. I will follow back up!

Sturdy, bigger that i thought, great color (green), and easy to open! Using as an inside reading chair because i have an injured coxic bone at end of my spine- it’s got a little bit of a tilt-back, which helps keep the pressure of my lower spine. Got it today, seems good so far!

This chair is huge. And not in any good way. It is so tall I had to literally climb into it… I’m 5’6. You can’t lean forward at all or the whole chair will tip over. The slots on the seat of the chair dig into your thighs so bad. It hurts! So uncomfortable! Worst purchase. I returned the next day.
BL –
It was a bit taller than I was expecting, but it keeps the shorter people from stealing my seat. Wished it was a bit wider, but other than I am happy with the chair. If there is a con, it is heavier than my other chairs, but it was expected because it is a larger chair.
Joni –
LOVE IT!. 5’11 female 375 lbs. The product description is true in that it doesn’t sink in the seat or back. It’s very tall when closed but not as heavy as you would think. It’s actually lighter than the other chair I’ve been using. Very high quality and I WILL be buying another! I’m a football/basketball mom and spend hours at fields and gyms. I need to able to jump up fast and cheer for my Quarterback and this chair allows me to!! 🙂 :)I’m thinking Christmas gifts….. 😉
Angela –
I’ve always been worried about some foldable chairs being stable enough for someone larger like myself. This chair is comfortable, roomy and sits up a little higher so it’s easy to get out of. Splurge and get this one, you’ll be glad you did!

Supports butt and back without slouching or going down 20” like others. Good sturdy flat seat surface. Double lock is great.Buy this one.

We love these chairs. Large, sturdy, good carry handle, easy to lock, and look nice. We get compliments on them almost every time we open them up at the ball field. The only negatives are the weight and a little bit of difficulty locking the chair when closed. All-in-all, a great chair and highly recommended.
Huge bonus!
Peter Vitolo –
Bought this chair very hopeful that I finally found a chair comfortable for big guys… When it arrived I opened it up and used it right away at the neighbors house for a barbecue and it was very comfortable. When I went to go leave I could not get it to close up and take home it has a button on the side that had already broken. After taking a good look at it the construction of it was very flimsy and was satisfactory as far as I am concerned, Oh well I will keep looking!

This chair could only be amazing if you were to leave it sealed in the box it was shipped in. It doesn’t handle sand, dust, or moisture of any kind. It lasted exactly 2 days. Then wouldn’t fold open or closed without providing entertainment for everyone watching. Similar to wrestling an octopus….except octopi don’t break easily.

This chair was almost perfect, but I have very big legs, I’m a women’s size 22-24. So the bars hurt my legs. It’s sturdy, and sits high; but the bars aren’t wide enough (for me personally) otherwise it’s perfect

These chairs are simply amazing! Very easy to set up and break down. Extremely comfortable to sit in– I have used them for volleyball tournaments where I am sitting for several hours at a time. The cup holders are wide enough for most bottles and the bottles stay put. The carrying bag is nice for when you have to walk a bit to get to where you are going. Overall a very good value for what you get! We got the grey and it is super nice looking as well!

Very comfortable, extra wide chairs. They are sturdy and lock so you don’t have to worry about them folding in while you’re sitting in them. This is our second set – we have one for camping and one for campfires in the backyard. Worth every penny!

Absolutely love it very sturdy I am not a small person most lawn chairs sway and fall apart fast but this one is so much more sturdy and easy to take down and set up

I don’t normally pay this much for a chair but figured I would splurge since i use camping chairs so much, might as well get a good one. Well, I only used this twice and it was broken. All my cheap chairs last for years. I am thoroughly disappointed. The latch on the back leg of the chair broke from the other leg. I had high hopes for this. Especially since it cost so much. There were so many good reviews too. 🙁 Maybe I got a rare faulty chair…? But who knows. All I have is the chair that was shipped to me.

I really like these chairs for the value. I have two and purchased 2 for Xmas gifts.

This is almost a great chair, but with the way the legs are designed, the bars on the seat dig into your thighs. We threw big folded up blankets on the seat the one time we used them. The locking works well, they *look* great, and I definitely get the impression that it’s a sturdy chair. But, I’ll still return them.

Like: Everybody loves my chair!Dislike: Everybody loves my chair!THIS CHAIR IS FANTASTIC!!! Sturdy, comfortable, easy open and close, super high quality materials, and it looks great! The back of this chair is a perfect height lay your head back on and the material is thick and strong enough (I weigh 298 pounds) that it’s extremely easy to fall asleep in this chair. I have no complaints about this chair whatsoever…NONE! This 4th of July, I took this chair to my family BBQ and everybody that sat in it took out their phones to look it up and buy one for themselves. Unfortunately for them, it was sold out on every site which is why when I learned about this chair, I bought it immediately because most sites were sold out and this site had limited stock. If you can get your hands on one (or more) of these chairs, don’t hesitate, you will not regret it.

These are the only collapsible chairs I purchase. I am 6’5” and +400, and I don’t have to strain to get out of them. They are not low like most chairs. Everyone else loves sitting in them – they say they can “fall out” of the chair easily. They’re tall and sturdy. I also like that one of the cup holders is big enough to hold my iPhone 7 Plus when it’s not holding a solo cup!
Jennifer –
My husband stands 6’2″ and could fit comfortably in a standard sized chair. This one is perfect size, we call it his throne. It sits up quite a bit higher than regular chairs and when folded and in the bag, stands over five foot tall. It has a very useful strap to help carry it. If it has any down side, it is the fact it stands so tall folded up, it may not fit very easily in smaller cars
Sono Gal –
This is an awesome chair! Easy to open with one hand & supports the bigger than the average size bear. Would prefer if the back tiltled back a bit (have ones that do that). But this chair is so easy to get in & out of without needing a helping hand! Nice & wide too! Enjoying it for sure!

This chair exceeded my expectations. I was rather shocked at the size of shipping box, it was tall and so is the chair when closed. But too my suprise, at 5’7″, my feet lie flat on the ground when seated. There is no sag and I don’t have to ask for help to stand like I do with other chairs. I was so confident sitting down that I did not have to look back to guide my bum down. There was no wobble even when sitting on an incline nor did the chair sink into the soil. The locking feature adds security. The materials used are not cheap. This chair has more back support than my office chair and is well built. I’d recommend this chair for anyone with bad knees, tall or more than average girth.

Great quality! Very Solid, you do not done soon in the seat at all, arm rest a not say either. Love the net back rest, helps keep cooler in the hot sun.Only thing I didn’t realize or pay attention to was this comes in different sizes, this being XXL it is very wide and sits higher then a normal chair. I am only 5’5 and my feet don’t touch the ground. lol

Sturdy, comfortable and supportive chair. Wish all bag chairs were this way!!
Penny Ladnier –
This is really a great portable chair for large, heavyweight people like myself. I can’t sit in some chairs because they’re too narrow, or too fragile, or too low for me to be able to get up from without a struggle. I went to visit my sister and discovered she didn’t have any chairs (except sturdy wooden dining room chairs with no arms) that I could sit in. But then she brought out one of these chairs that she’d ordered online for my visit. She thought it might be convenient for when we visited her cottage on the lake. But it turned out to be a godsend for me for the whole visit. We put it in the living room where I could sit comfortably along with everyone else. We took it out on the front porch where we sipped our morning coffee. We moved it into the TV room, and we brought it up to the cottage where I used it outside to sit around the campfire, and indoors on the screened-in porch to relax. There is a cup holder on each arm (one for larger cups and one for smaller). It’s comfortable to sit in, it’s sturdy, and I can get up from it with no problems. As soon as I got back home again, I ordered this one for myself. I think it’s a very reasonable price for a great product.

Chair sit higher than most. Not a bad thing. But is also weighs about twice the amount. 12.5 #. If you are physically challenged and have to carry if very far it may become a problem.

Fantastic Quality, at 6’9″ and a smig under 300 its difficult to find sturdy chairs – these are! Now for those purchasing or using remember there is a lock on the right side of the chair when opening or closing – it’s important I was ready to rip the chair apart until I stumbled on the slide lock. Of course like most guys I didn’t read the directions.

Absolutely hands-down the best outdoor canvas chair I’ve had. So comfortable to sit it, easy to get out of, light weight and durable. We use them a lot and absolutely love them. Couldn’t be more thrilled. We love them so much, we bought them as gifts for some friends. Great purchase!

Durable and very large. Sturdy even with heavier people in it.

I couldn’t praise this chair more!
Bj Richardson –
I weigh over 300lbs and this is the sturdiest and most comfortable lawn chair I’ve found.
Adam –
This chair is sturdy and firm (for a camp chair). It locks open and pulls the fabric tight so when you sit on it, it feels very supportive. The size and strength is more than enough to keep me comfortable.the mesh backing keeps you cool and a carry strap is permanently attached so you don’t need the bag if you don’t want to bring it.the only odd thing about it is that one cup holder is slightly bigger than the other. The right one can fit my 30oz tumbler all the way, the left one only to the neck of the tumbler (like a standard cup holder). weird and a bit of a head scratcher but not an issue for me.

These are the best chairs. They are sturdy and comfortable! I bring them everywhere so I don’t run the risk of having to sit in those wobbly, awful, plastic chairs! Yes they are big to carry but so worth it!!

This chair is awesome. Be aware it stands pretty tall when unfolded. When seated, my feet barely touch the floor and I’m 5’5 but so far it’s super comfy and feels very sturdy. No squeezing, pinching, or pressure spots. If it doesn’t stand the test of time/use, I’ll update but as of now it’s definitely a 5 star.

I have purchased a few of these chairs for friends and relatives. They are built quite well and perfect for larger people. Kijaro’s warranty is excellent and as long as you do not tear off the tags under the seat, they will send you a replacement chair if the one you have breaks. The only issue that I have had is the locking mechanism. A couple of them that I received would not lock in the closed position. I sent them back and received a replacement that did work properly.

This is a great chair. We love how there is more room in the seat and between the arm rest. it made it easier to put a small table there for little league baseball score keeper.

Rachel L –
Having 3 kids in sports for the last 10 years, I have bought my fair share of chairs, this is by far the best one I’ve had. It is very comfortable and wide enough that the sides of the chair don’t poke you. I highly recommend this chair to anyone looking for a folding chair.
Amazon Customer –
This is a GREAT chair for larger people or people that have knee problems or trouble getting out of the regular folding chairs. This chair sits up higher and is wider than regular canvas folding chairs. After we gave this for a birthday present, many more of the relatives ordered them!

Excellent product. Much better than the other brand I bought and had to replace because they didn’t hold up.

Great chair, it’s nice that it locks open and also locks closed. It sits a little higher than a “normal” camp chair which is great! Lots of support, feels so sturdy and well made. Also: the two cupholders are two different sizes, which is AWESOME as it’s snug enough on one side for a can, and large enough on the other for a large mug.
modonna wilkinson –
I am disabled and use a mobility scooter. My husband usually puts my scooter back on the lift and tightens it with straps etc. He has to have knee replacement and I need the scooter to get around in the hospital, but would have to put it back on the lift myself when I came home overnight. I bought this chair so I could sit and put the lift straps, etc on. It works wonderfully. It has a very wide seat, I didn’t feel any shifting, etc when I put weight on, etc. I am 5’6” and short legs, but my feet were able to touch the ground and no rubbing where chair bars are either. I did find trying to squeeze latch and fold it up a bit difficult, but doable. I gave it 4 stars because of the latch, but it is a good chair for obese or very large people to feel comfortable using.
Jamie –

This chair is comfortable and sturdy. Easily transported. I keep it in the car trunk and have found many occasions to use it unexpectedly. Highly recommended!

When the chair arrived it had greasy scuff marks on the bag and chair. The bag was also frayed. It was a gift and the person said they didn’t mind it was “dirty” I would have sent it back
Dana Harlan –
This chair is not compact but is very well made for the $.21:” seat heighten short people may find their feet won’t touch the ground. Weighs about 12 # so not for long carries.Watch for protector caps coming off inside fabric sleeves and super glue them. There’s no lumbar support in center of back but a thin pillow or towel make it perfect. This is over all an excellent chair. Many great features.
Bee Ivey –
We love these chairs! Both my partner and I are large and these are big enough and sturdy enough for two 400lb people! They are a little hard to put away. The lock is a nice way to make sure that your chair stays firm in place but because of how large the frame is, it can be difficult to put back into the bag. That’s my only complaint honestly. And it’s a small one, at least until you’re inebriated and packing up.

Excellent quality and comfort. Took to the beach and it carried easily, set up quickly and was very comfortable and secure. Will probably get another one.

Bought this for my husband he’s had chairs before for big guys, he says this is the best he’s had great height and the seat stays no sagging. Only thing is the carry bag seems to be coming apart already.

Are you a heavy hitter. Got some junk in your trunk? Do you like you Crispy cream cut in half and surrounding a hamburger? Well then this is the chair for you!!!Great chair. Very sturdy and can stand up to the punishment my XXL but brings to it!
Jeff Hoffert –
Great chair. Had one bracket break and Kijaro sent another one right away. Very comfortable for 250 pound person.
Garvin March –
I like this chair! Comfortable, sit’s a little higher than expected which I like. Easy to get out of because there is no sag. It is a little longer than a lot of the other chairs, and a little heavy, but that should be expected from a heavy duty chair. All in all the nicest chair I have owned!
LANManLANMan –
I ordered one of these a couple of days ago and was so impressed I ordered another 3 days later. Super sturdy (I am over 6″ and about 250 lbs). It sits up high which I really like, and has a strap on the back for carrying without need of the bag. The lock is nice and keeps the seat nice and taut. I subtracted 1 star because it came packaged in a HUGE box that could have held a coffee table…the chair was kicking around in there and was missing the plastic cord retainer from the bag – which I would not have known had I not ordered the 2nd chair which came in better packaging and included the plastic thing (pictures attached for clarity). Not the fault of Kijaro probably but I still would have liked to have the cord thing.

This chair is great really like the carry sling on the chair itself and very comfortable

Great chair for my husband! He’s a big/tall guy and struggles finding a chair that is tall enough so that he’s not squatting and has a tall enough back rest to lean on. This has both!
rbgilbert –
Very comfortable and feels strong. Can’t say how it will wear over time, but it seems very well made.
Zack –
They seem great out if the bag, but the fabric on these chairs does not hold up. I purchased two chairs, and both had seams give out during the same weekend camping trip. The chairs had only been used a few times and the people sitting on the chairs were well under the listed weight rating. I’ve purchased chairs for <$10 that lasted far longer.
L –
The chair itself is comfortable and solid. Keep in mind that the solid factor does mean that this chair is also quite heavy. That would be perfectly fine if the chair bag was built as well as the chair, but sadly it’s not. The strap on the bag is awful. It cuts in to your shoulder and makes carrying the chair an actual pain. Not good if you plan on carrying this thing for any good distance. The material of the bag is also super thin so it wears down very quick. But like I said, the chair itself is great and sturdy.
Roger Aber –
I loved the product. I ordered a larger pink one because its my favorite color. I ordered the larger one because its hard for me or get up and down in chairs. This was easier because its taller. Everywhere I had it people noticed and like the pink too. I had people sit in it and they lived it. I would send the l link for people to order. I even got both parents one. However it didn’t last 6 months before the cross bars broke on the chair. Unable to fix so I had to order a new one. But it was more expensive for me to replace the pink color so I ended up with the plain grey. People don’t seem to notice my grey chair so I haven’t given any referrals with a grey chair. Also I am sad I don’t have the pink.
BOBBIEJO M MAGUIRE –

Love it! So comfy and roomy. The best!
Dave –
Great chair! I ordered the blue, but gray arrived. Sent it back for a correct color. Only downfall is it’s made in China… I’m not a fan of that, but it appears to be a solid chair and sturdy for a big guy like me!
Michael E. –
Michelle B. –
I love these chairs. The XXL was a bit bigger than I expected but I didn’t mind. There are two cup holders. One is big enough for my large cell phone, which I really like. The bottom and back are so sturdy and feel great in my bad back. I would recommend the Kijaro brand above any folding camp chair.
Chris –
Great chair, everything I wanted in a chair. The only thing I wasn’t aware of was how high the chair was. I’m 5’1 & my feet don’t touch the ground. My friend who is 5’8 barely touches the ground.
Rachael Alling –
This is the best folding chair ever! So firm and comfortable you will want to use it more than when just camping

edgar bryant –
very sturdy and comfortable, hold up in place so you can get in and out of it very easy, best I have ever owned

Love this chair. Had bought one before from a different vendor. It lasted for over 4 years. It could have been longer but was used a lot and wore down the material on the seat section. It’s definitely made for a taller size person. Nice and wide to fit heavy set person. Is easy to open but since it’s a big chair to transport maybe a little difficult. Comes with a bag with strap. Definitely recommend

A friend of mine had two of these chairs and I loved them so I ordered two for myself and my husband. They are awesome…

Great chair, sits comfortably. Received quickly.
Muneraven –
These are very nice. They feel very sturdy and are plenty wide for my, er, bountiful behind. One thing to be aware of: They are tall. I am 5’9″ and I can almost swing my feet once I scoot back. I don’t have any trouble getting on the chair or off, but the seat is deep enough so that when I am against the seat-back only my toes touch the ground. I don’t mind this at all, but if you are a short person you might not like it. If you are my height or taller, though, here is a camp chair that is really nice for you!We have had other brands and they have been fine but this chair feels sturdier without being hard to carry.

This chair blows the old folding chairs out of the water. When you sit in it you are fully supported, and it does not sag or give the way other option do. Be warned, this is a HUGE chair. Not just unfolded, but folded as well (probably 4 feet long). Its not heavy, but its bulky… im a big guy (6 feet 250) and its almost too big for me, but I like it 🙂
Jennifer DewittJennifer Dewitt –
I opened the box to see the bag the chair is in right away has several holes in it. Tears and holes with light brown dirt down it. Right away suspicious, I open it and the chair has scuffed marks on the metal legs and a hole in the chair seat edge and light brown dirt mark again. I did try it out and seemed like it can be sturdy, a little effort to fold up, doesn’t lock closed or have anything to keep closed. It does have a strap on the back of the chair to just carry without the bag, but the chair doesn’t lock closed/have a closing fastner. So to ensure it doesn’t start opening you would have to depend on getting it back in the bag. The bag also has a carrying stap.I can’t say whether this is a good chair to use because I can’t trust it hasn’t already been used prior to me getting it to know if my use of it would be authentic for review.

If you have bad knees or back, this chair would be a plus for you, It’s not only very comfortable, but it sits higher than most chairs like this, 2 convenient cup holders and a pouch for your extras… And the yellow color is really nice color!

Having 3 kids in sports for the last 10 years, I have bought my fair share of chairs, this is by far the best one I’ve had. It is very comfortable and wide enough that the sides of the chair don’t poke you. I highly recommend this chair to anyone looking for a folding chair.

I take this chair with me when we travel and people try to take it! Sturdy, wide and comfortable. I’ve had no issues with the locking mechanism. We own two of these and would buy more if needed.

Perfect size for us old farts the only reason why it’s hard to fold is because of our arthritis LOL

this is my second time buying this chair. the first time in blueish green. not too heavy and really holds heavier folks like me, the cup holders in the arms are perfect too. unfortunately i left mine out on the porch for years and eventually it was too much. had it for over 2 years before having to buy another. quite comfortable too
Daniel Camacho –
This chair has easily stolen the show at our cookouts this summer. The seat is comfortable for someone my size (over 300lbs). It’s been easy to open and close and store with the included carrying bag. I have since ordered 3 more as many other sat on it the first day I brought it out and were amazed on how much more comfortable it was compared to the regular lawn chairs we had. I highly recommend this for anyone over 300lbs or that is a tall person

I was looking for heavy duty, high weight capacity (since that means sturdier material) and this is exactly that. Great chair but it was way too big for me. Had to exchange for the smaller size. This chair is rated up to 400 lbs but I’d say a 6’5″, 450-500 man could sit in this comfortably. I’m 5’9″ and had to carefully back into it just to sit (like you would do for a tall bed). I’m a big girl and this thing had sooooo much room. I can’t believe I had to downsize. Locking mechanism was nice and I really like the strap so you don’t have to stuff it in the bag.
Lew kizer –
I am 270 lbs. This is the best camping chair I have ever had. No more feeling like I will destroy the chair. I love it

Used to sit in when operating a booth. The most comfortable portable chair ever owned. Operated a booth for 3 days. My legs and seat never tired. Easy to get in and out of.

Great chair! Very sturdy! Love how I don’t feel like I have to climb out of the chair. It’s firm and holds its shape.

This chair is my absolute favorite. If ally something that is able to support my weight and height. SO comfortable and easy to fold and use. I bring them on every camping trip and normally am not the one getting to sit in them they get taken before I even get back.
Brian Norwood –
Updated July 2018. After buying three of these and having all of them fall apart because the rivets pull through the metal or just break, I am changing my rating to only one star. It does not stand up to very much use.Great size but the rear rivets are not strong enough. Broke a rivet and replaced with a bolt. It works now.

Very good quality! This is a large chair that’s best for taller people. If you’re under 5’10” your feet may not touch the ground. Great chair for me and will probably last for 10 years or more.

The chair itself is tall, so for anyone 5’5 or under, you feel like you are sitting on a stool. You cannot fold this and have it stored upright since the legs do not all touch the ground at the same length.Customer service for this product is horrible. It is a comfortable seat. But I am too short for this chair which makes it very uncomfortable to sit in for any period of time. I kept it only because it would have cost more to send back.
David Morr –
given as gift, works well for 350 pounder
BoseW –

Very comfortable, extra wide chairs. They are sturdy and lock so you don’t have to worry about them folding in while you’re sitting in them. This is our second set – we have one for camping and one for campfires in the backyard. Worth every penny!

These chairs are really well made. Strong steel, you can feel the weight of them. Not light, but strong good quality. Just what I was looking for to keep in the RV. Don’t waste your money an Academy or Walmart chairs. These are built to last!
Elevator Lady –
Kijaro is hands-down the very best camping chair and I recommend it to everyone I know. The legs are set far enough back and there’s no bar in the front digging into your thighs the whole time. If you’re plus-size or even just taller, this chair is for you. If you’re not plus-size and don’t want a chair that sits a bit highter off the ground, simply get the regular Kijaro chair instead of the XXL.
Bryan Sullivan –
This chair feels very solid when I sit on it, however it has the same problem most other chairs I’ve tried do, the cross bars push on the backs of my thighs when I sit on it. This is a deal-breaker for me and I returned it.
M. West –
This chair is great, high seat height for taller people, roomy seat area and is very sturdy. It’s lightweight but very portable, love the locking feature with easy push to collapse and move it. While a bit pricey, this chair seems like it will last a long time.Highly recommend this.
Mt Tom Photo –
The first XXL Kijaro I bought on a whim 5+ years ago at a Dick’s Sporting Goods store, and have never regretted it, but it finally gave out on me a week or so ago. Daily use throughout the summers and left outside, for almost 5+ years. This one seems as rugged and is built the same, so let’s see just how long it shall last. They are a bit expensive for a folding “camp” chair, but like I tell everyone, if you own something and by the time it falls apart it costs you less that a dollar per week, it was worth every penny.

These are by far my favorite camping chair. The wide seat is very comfortable and the XL cup holder is the perfect size for nalgene/ camelback water bottles. The locking mechanism to keep the chair folded or locked in place when in use is great. I’ve recommended this to my friends and family who go camping and they’ve all have raving reviews about these chairs too.
Marie C Dubey –
I bought this chair for my boyfriend to use at the beach. He is about 6 foot 2 and around 200 lbs. This chair is the perfect height for him and very solid when unfolded. Also extremely portable when folded and in its sleeve. Love it.
StiffishNickel –
This chair locks out so the sides don’t pull in. Bought this for my wife because when we go to our son’s baseball games she usually ends up in my chair, now she has her own. Very sturdy and comfortable, highly recommend.
David Frieder –
Everyone buys a million of these kinds of chairs and they almost always suck. These are very good, comfortable, non-pinching your legs chairs. Totally worth the money. They’re a little bulky, but they have good carrying straps. Good purchase!
Lynnamint –
This chair is wide enough that I can curl up in it (my favorite reading position). It is still light and I can easily fold it and carry it about, but usually make my husband do it for me. It folds up to a fairly slim size, but is still very long, meaning it is not going to be the most compact thing you own.If you are looking at the regular sized Kijaro Dual Lock Folding chair, I definitely recommend upgrading to this size. I have both chairs and the regular size just sits in our garage now – this one is really that much better.

Dottie –
Does not open or close easily. I bought two chairs and they both are very difficult to open and close. It takes several people to get it to open or close. But when they are open they are very sturdy and comfy. Wish I could return them. But it is passed the time- I ordered them in the fall on sale hoping to use them in the summer.

As a “big girl,” this chair is great. I feel comfortable and not as if the chair is going to collapse under me.
Ms. Marilyn J. Graef –
I bought this chair for my husband and he loved it. They accidently sent the wrong color, but he didn’t want to mess with returning it. It was easy to use and will easily hold someone who weights more than 300 pounds!
Courtney –
Love this chair! Took it camping it works perfectly. The larger size means the back is higher than a normal camping chair, so my head rests on the back. Such a huge difference in comfort to be able to rest my head. Also very high quality materials, and well made. The material in the back allows for air flow, so you don’t get as uncomfortable, even in warm weather. Would absolutely purchase again if the price was right.
C S Cawthon –
We live in an SEC University town and spend the entire football season tailgating. We also attend many other events and our sports chairs are heavily and frequently used. My husband and sons are big guys, and also very rough. This chair is perfect for them. The size is wonderful-it sits high and provides excellent support. It is cool and comfortable for all day outdoor use. It is on the heavy side, but that is because it is well built and solidly constructed. When carrying shorter distances this is not a problem. The mesh in the drink holders is a possible detraction-it is quite lightweight and can be easily torn. No problems yet, but I suspect it wont take long.My only other critical comment is about the colors. There is a poor variety offered, and almost no team colors.Otherwise, we are very satisfied and will order more.
Mardelle J.McNally –

This chair is excellent!! Great quality and perfect fit for us!
Beth Sysel –
I bought this chair for my husband, he is 6’5 and 280 lbs. We have bought other chairs that have a 300 lb weight limit and none of them have lasted at all, this one has. He loves using it all the time and it is the perfect length for his legs. It does recline back but he is tall enough to sit upright in it. Be aware though I am 5’7 and cannot sit in it, my feet don’t even hit the ground, and the back of my knees don’t hit the end of the bottom so it is uncomfortable to me.

We initially found these chairs at Dicks 12 years ago. They are a nice height and they are wide that I can sit cross-legged. After the first set of chairs wore out I searched all over for them. This is the only chair we like even with all of the new styles coming out. They are very durable as we have multiple kids in multiple travel sports and school sports plus camping. They are definitely used and abused.
Tyler –
3 years later and still good as new, sit in this chair everyday outside.
MamaSylvia –
This could be the perfect chair for us hefty people. It’s wide enough for my big behind. The front of the seat doesn’t dig into my legs. The arms are as comfortable as arms on a folding chair are going to be. The lone problem is that the non-adjustable back leans too far to be comfortable doing anything, but that is such a big problem I couldn’t give it a better review. Forget using this as seating around an outdoor table. Terribly awkward to lean forward to roast marshmallows or hot dogs over a campfire. I didn’t get around to sending it back before the return period expired, and it’s not like it’s totally useless, but I was very disappointed because it’s so close to perfect.
Hollie Kennedy –
Love that there’s no saving seat and you can fold up and throw over shoulder without putting in bag. I also like how it’s not so low to the ground.
R. Knowlton –
Products been great, very sturdy, higher off ground for taller folks.
Sharon D. Cook –
My step father is 6’6 in height. He loves this chair, it sits up high he dies not feel like he is in the ground. He can stand and sit easily.
Ralph G. –

Great chair, very sturdy for my large size and there is room to wiggle in the chair.

Love how tall these are. I have had two of them. Bought this one for my mom who has bad knees. Regular outdoor chairs are two low for her to get up. The seat doesn’t flex down very much and stays nice and tall making it easier for her to get up.

Thought i overdid it buying this chair when unboxing. Girlfriend was laughing at me when my feet couldn’t touch the ground. Once we had it on the campsite it wasn’t funny anymore. Great chairs for the money.

Update: It has been 5 months since purchase and both have now broken. I have big kids but well under the weight limit for the chair.Update: It has been a few months now and of the two i purchased is completely broken, like in a pile on the floor. The other is almost impossible to open. And when you do try and open it it feels as though it might brake. This i sad because my kids really liked them.I got two of these. One did really well. The other had a problem with folding back up. It would bind at the sliding ring. Also on the same chair the plastic broke on part where it is weight bearing. Both chairs were used about the same amount of time. When camping, the other people there commented on how much they liked them and they would be stolen before other chairs around the fire. Overall i would recommend.

I have bought 2 in the past 3 years. The first one lasted 2 years. The seams ripped on one side but I chalked it up because I left it in the elements on the deck, rain, sun, snow ect. So I bought another this past October. I didn’t use it until this past month for the first time. After 3 weeks the bar broke on the side. I didnt leave this in any elements and took extra care of this one. How did hard steel snap in half is beyond me and can only come to the conclusion it was defected to begin with. Too late to return as I waited 7 months to use it. 🙁 I will not be buying another one. I have no luck with your company.

Love this chair! Sturdy, large seat. Came in a VERY over-sized box with no packing material…could have fit 5 of these inside.
AJs Bad Dad –

This chair is amazing. It’s gigantic! We got it as a gift for my husband (big guy – 6’3″ ~250lbs) who wanted a nice camping chair and wanted something that was rated to hold his weight. I went a little overboard and decided to get this one but it has been great!Pros:So big! Me and my 4 year old can sit side by side in it and my husband is extremely comfortable in it.It has two drink holders, one that holds larger sized cups which is very convenient. The side pocket is really handy for cell phones and whatnot.Definitely love the fact it locks open and locks closed. This chair does not droop at all no matter who is using it.Very comfortable to sit in.It’s easy to carry using the strap on the chair itself or putting in the case and carrying with that strap. I like they gave the option of not needing to use the case and still be able to carry it by a strap.Cons:Definitely a large chair to carry around, however it is not heavy or too burdensome. But you wouldn’t want to be hiking this thing too far or with a lot of other gear!

I’m 6′ -260 lbs. and it’s roomy as well as sturdy. I wish I’d have bought this earlier.

This is a great chair. This is the fourth one our family has owned. They last a long time and are both sturdy and comfortable. I’m a big guy and the size is perfect. Totally worth the price plus the price is less than most chairs of this quality.

Love the chair. I am 6’6” so this chair fits me perfectly. I get the need for the button to fold and or lock the Chair, but it is a little pain to manage. I would by this chair again

Just received these chairs. This ain’t your momma’s soccer chair; holy hell is it big and heavy. I’m a big guy (250 lbs) of average height (5′ 9″) and my feet barely touch the ground. The chair certainly seems comfortable. Just don’t underestimate the reviews that talk about how XXL this chair actually is 🙂

I love this chair because the seat is high enough from the ground that I don’t have trouble getting out of it. I don’t sink down when I sit like I do in all other bag chairs. It is sturdy. It is easy to carry without its bag because it locks closed and locks open. It is easier to get into its bag than many other bag chairs I have used. It has larger feet so that it doesn’t sink in sand or gravel as easily as other bag chairs. I now own two, one for each vehicle so that if I am not comfortable with the available chairs, both inside and outside, I have my own.

After buying a number of chairs…this one is a pleasant surprise. It’s very well built and I love it.Sits high and is strong. Look no further. I use it for concerts and festivals….a little heavier than the cheap models, but nothing to be concerned about….it will last a long time.

It lasted one year and one month. During those 13 months, it may have been used… 20 times? If that? Now it will not open. Totally locked in place shut. The lock isn’t the problem, it’s the other side. It’s stuck and will not move. I bought 3 of these in total. 1 is still working. 1 is stuck closed. 1 is stuck open. When it actually works how it’s supposed to, they are fine. Comfortable for my 350lbs rear-end to sit in. It sits upright which I like, as it’s easier to get out of. Construction on it is garbage apparently, because 2 of the 3 I purchased are now inoperable as intended, 1 totally useless. I’d pass on this.

Omg – LOVE LOVE this chair. This is a king size sturdy chair. I am a bigger person and this supports me perfectly. I feel confident that it will not break when I get up or cave in when I sit in it!!!! 🙂

I have plenty of room on my new chair. Sturdy and well built. I can see how it holds 400 lbs. I’m no where near that but like the fact that its extra sturdy and comfortable.

Kijaro is hands-down the very best camping chair and I recommend it to everyone I know. The legs are set far enough back and there’s no bar in the front digging into your thighs the whole time. If you’re plus-size or even just taller, this chair is for you. If you’re not plus-size and don’t want a chair that sits a bit highter off the ground, simply get the regular Kijaro chair instead of the XXL.
blatantsubtleties –
The chair is larger than most lawn chairs, offering more comfort especially if you a bigger. There is a locking mechanism that keeps the seat taught and doesn’t draw the sides in toward you when you sit.
Headway Church –
Great chair! Purchased for 360lb man and he loves it!It’s heavy when folded up into the bag, but SUPER easy to fold and unfold, unlike most standard camping chairs. The seat sits higher than most camping chairs, so good for people with long legs, but this person has a 28″ inseam, so it’s a little high for him. But it’s still a great chair and I give it 5 stars

these chairs are big, barely fit in the trunk of my car, but definitely worth it. have two different size cup holders on the arm rests. my buddy who’s about 280 lbs. sat on it, the chair withstood his weight. is very durable, has been used many times, no faults observed

This is my 3rd Kijaro chair, but my first XXL. The other two I have open easily and lock into place without any effort at all. I have to manipulate this one for about 5 minutes every time I get it out because the leg won’t move into the locking position. Once open and locked, it’s a great chair.

I’ve always been worried about some foldable chairs being stable enough for someone larger like myself. This chair is comfortable, roomy and sits up a little higher so it’s easy to get out of. Splurge and get this one, you’ll be glad you did!

When I first opened and sat in it, I was impressed. Sturdy, easy to use, very comfortable. I then took it on a weeks vacation to the beach. Within 2 days, there was noticeable rust. On the fourth day, the chair seemed to freeze in its upright position. I couldn’t get it to go down so I could sit on it. The locking mechanism worked fine, but the fittings were seized and nothing moved. I used it on the pool patio and not on the beach. I will be looking to get a replacement and will increase rating if the 2nd one holds up better.2nd one is working much better than first. Rating upgraded to 3 stars.

At a ball field 6 days a week with our Kijaro XL chairs and they don’t disappoint for comfort! Very sturdy and heavier than most bags chairs. Even the bags are a heavy material and have held up to our daily use all summer long!

Nice chair, very roomy. My only complaint is it’s little stiff compared to other bag chairs. Hopefully this will improve and break in a little after some use

We have gone through SO many camping chairs. They all claim to have high weight limits, but fail us season after season. The quality of this chair is fantastic! We ordered the first one for a 6′ 5″ 240lb male and he loves it! Once the family (most of them taller) sat in it they all fell in love. We will be ordering at least 4 more. It is comfortable, sturdy, and really good quality. If we have any issues this season I will update my review.

This is an excellent chair. It is nice an large, and very sturdy. The cup holders are great for any kind of drinks in bottles or glasses except for mugs with handles. It has a strap on the back and locks into place when it’s open and when it’s closed. This is nice when you only want to move a couple feet and carry a couple other items at the same time and don’t want to close the chair. Or you can carry it by the strap with it closed and then you don’t have to put it back in the bag. I have several of these chairs for my deck, garage, and camping equipment. They are a little large if you are running low on space to store or transport them, but not much larger than a normal fold up chair. (this wasn’t an issue for me, so i saw no reason to ding a star). Overall very good chair.

We attend a lot of baseball games and soccer games, I will never buy another brand of chair. This chair is comfortable and roomy and just the right angle for my back.
