    Easy to Fold, Seems Well-Made

The product arrived on time and was exactly what I thought I was ordering. It seems well-made, and if I have any problems with it in the future, I will absolutely update this review.*** this product is easy to fold *** apparently, after reading a lot of reviews about these things, folding them back up is the sticking point, and this product folded easily.1. to collapse the Utilitent, place one hand on each side of the door and push with your LEFT hand to collapse and fold the Utilitent2. grab the bottom of collapsed and folded Utilitent with both hands while someone provides some resistance for you by lightly placing their foot on the TOP of the Utilitent (the top of the unit should be on the ground during this step)3. think of a rolling ocean wave, and bring the BOTTOM of the Utilitent up to the top; touch the bottom of the Utilitent to the top of the unit while keeping it “round”4. your hands holding the bottom of the Utilitent (actually along the sides of the bottom part of the Utilitent) have your fingers along the outside edges of the Utilitent– now, one at a time, do a 180 with your grip so that your thumbs are now along the outside of the Utilitent and your fingers are on the inside– this step is the key to folding it!!!5. now, take the bottom edge (with your grip reversed) and start to roll it (like a burrito). The Utilitent will NATURALLY begin to make circles and completely collapse into that concentric-circled round-thingy you pulled out of the zippered case to begin with. This oh so elegantly written sentence will make more sense once you do the step ; )*** Here it is, June of 2021, and this thing is STILL going with no problems! Excellent product!***

    Well-made, High Value

Simply amazing. As a photographer, I purchased this as an on-site changing station but I can easily use this for car camping as a portable shower enclosure. I have several photographic light reflectors that are more difficult to fold back up than this pop-up. Really well made and I look forward to using this “tool” as needed.

    Just what we wanted.

Works great as a changing room, private potty room when camping. Love the toilet paper holder and storage net and towel strap inside. The first time we used it, we had a struggle with folding it down and we could not get internet on our phones, so we brought it home laying flat in the back of the car. Watched video and had no trouble folding it up. Thanks for great product. Just wish you had folding instructions in the package. 🙂

    This awesome. No complaints

This is awesome. No complaints. I figured out the folding of it. First, it is really top quality material and craftsmanship, similar to the better brands of camping products. Seriously. I’ve been doing this for 25 year and know about this area. The fact that it folds up and doesn’t have poles like others is such a plus. Two recommendations. I hook system at the center of the ceiling for hanging a shower. The current one is off to the side. I will rig up my own. Second, a screened window or two at head level on either side would be nice.

    Get This Shower/Toilet Shelter.

This shower shelter worked great as a toilet shelter while camping for two weeks.Good air flow to keep the smell down. Very easy to setup and put away.Zipper was sturdy and opens and closes smoothly.Material was think enough to prevent silhouettes from showing through in the day time. Didn’t notice any silhouettes at night either, but that could have been the angle of our lights. The little bag at the top was great for storing wipes and spare TP.The color was pretty while not being too contrasting. It wasn’t quite camouflage, but it does blend in well to the campsite.

    Excellent Pop-up tent.

This tent is really easy to pop-up. Jumps right up. Love the tie downs. Zippers easy to use. Toilet roll holder. Place for shampoo all that kind of stuff. It even has a cover for the top if you don’t want to get wet inside. The only problem I had with it was the directions. It said to start At the bottom and fold/Turn. I didn’t want to damage it so I tried a few times before I tried it the opposite direction. It worked Perfect. Easy to use and stow away.

    Great camp shower

This works great as a camping shower. I do have to look at the instructions every time I fold it. In the right light you can see shadows through it. My wife found this out when four Jeeps stopped within 20 feet of it. Hehe. The extra lines for securing it kept it secure during at least one windy evening.

Exactly what we needed for our RV

This is a great product, exactly what we were looking for. We have an exterior shower in our RV and this tent tucks right up to it with a great opening that clips open. This tent is very tall, my husband who is over 6 feet was able to shower comfortably without hitting the ceiling. Seems well made and just exactly what we were looking for. Excellent communication and customer service from Green Elephant too. Perfect!

Works like it is meant to and great company!

I bought this over a year ago to use as a potable outhouse for my teardrop camper. I totally forgot to write a review and was just going through my old messages on Amazon when I came across a message from the company asking if I had any problems with the delivery as several had been damaged. I was struck by how amazing a company had to be if they were checking with everyone who had ordered from them to make sure they had not received a damaged item. I love my Green Elephant Utilitent! It works just as it was intended to, and I would also like to say that it is pretty darned sturdy too! Last summer it stood up to high winds, golf ball sized hail and torrential rain. However the walk to it in the pitch black weather with lightning streaked skies and ankle deep water was not much fun, it was better than a hike to the outhouse 6 campsites away.As for being easily foldable, it might be for some. I have watched the video on YouTube hundreds of times and can never get it folded quite as well as it was the first time, however, I am usually able to get it folded enough that I can get it back in the bag. Although, sometimes it just won’t cooperate and those times, I fold it flat, and it fits quite nicely on top of all the other stuff I pack back in my camper at the end of a camping adventure.

Worked great on our recent camping trip

Worked great on our recent camping trip. Toilet paper holder, mesh pocket, mesh roof + waterproof fly are all well thought out features. Worth the extra money compared the cheaper $30 competitors. No problems folding it up after watching the video once.

    Great for quarantine outings!

A must have during Covid quarantine outings! I’m not willing to use the public restroom yet. I’m sure this is a good product when camping but these days, I need it for bring your own port-a-potty with privacy tent. We had this out, weighted down with sand bags on the beach. And held down by another person on a windy day by hand near the car as well. The assembly is relatively easy. The take down could be challenging as it’s big/tall, a bit cumbersome if there is wind, needs to be folded forced down vs easily just up (like a car sun shade). Great height for tall people. There’s a toilet paper Velcro holder. Bonus.

Overall quality is good and great buy

Used it for my camping trip to put portable potty for my toddlers. Since there is a hole at the top for the shower , it doesn’t keep the spiders away even if you keep the rain cover on.. but that could be in few places only where you have tons of spiders.Overall quality is good and great buy. We also used it to change our cloths after swimming on lake and kept our tent clean and dry.

LOVE IT! Watch the video and practice and it will work super!

Far better then the privacy tent it replaced! Heavy duty enough to stay standing in a fair wind when staked properly but light and easy to pack once you get the hang of it. Do yourself a favor and watch the how to pack video and practice in the living room a few times folding it and it will be a breeze afterwards. Set up and take down are a two minute drill once you get the hang of it!

    Convenient Potty for Camping

Used this in November for a camping trip to Sequoia National Park. Worked like a charm! Set tent up in our camp site (far enough from the tents) and it was so convenient to go potty (make shift toilet bucket + deodorizer) instead of having to walk about 100 yards to the site toilet. Great ventilation, strap for toilet paper, pocket for sand sanitizer, but large enough to fit light clothing, as well as a long strap that heavier clothing can be hung onto. Can’t wait to bring this tent to the next camping trip for convenient relief!

    Great Tent!

Bought this tent to use as our potty tent when we go camping and it works great. I love how tall it is, as my husband and I are both tall people. It’s quite roomy inside and I love that there is a Velcro strap to hold TP and hooks to hold lanterns on the inside. It’s also very easy to set up. Folding it down can be a little tricky, but if you watch the video on YouTube that explains how to do it…you’ll be fine. I practiced in our living room before we took it camping and I had no issues once we were there.

    Worth every penny!

Love this “tent”! First used it as a shelter for a smoking visitor to have a dry place to smoke: it held up beautifully in torrential rains and high gusting winds (we used the tie- downs to anchor it to the wall of the house and our wrought iron patio set) The second week it did staked-down camping duty as a privacy tent and shower enclosure. Really love the roominess and height! Well constructed and worth every penny!

    Quick and easy set up.

There were no surprises. The description is spot on and so are the comments. It’s super easy to set up and take down. We used this at the beach as a shower and restroom, and it worked out better than expected especially for how windy it was. I would recommend this to any of my friends or family. I hope everyone else enjoys this utility tent as much as we do.

Watch the Video on folding this tent before you try it.

I really like this product. This tent unfolds itself as the poles are released from their circular position. Folding the 3rd And 4th poles should feel easy and unforced when done “precisely as instructed”. I recommend watching the online videos on the proper folding technique for this tent. The poles will be damaged If forced to bend improperly. Once mastered, folding this tent can be accomplished with relative ease.

    Long-term review

[one week] Great quality, Fold-up is simple, once you wrap your brain around what actually has to happen. Even after watching numerous how-to videos after reading in the reviews that it was difficult, it’s not until your brain gets a handle on it that it happened as simply for you as it does for them. I definitely recommend practicing at home where it’s no big deal if you don’t get it right away.[long term] my intended usage was to bring it cyclo-commuting, to change when I arrive… but it’s heavier than I’d like, and doesn’t fold up as small as I’d like. For most people, taking it in a car, the size and weight wouldn’t be as important, even if you just left it full-size but flattened down. the spring steel loops are strong enough to make it study in the wind, which was a complaint on many of the less expensive similar products. As a cyclo-commuter, I’d like to see how light you can get it. Maybe cuben fiber for the fabric, and carbon fiber replacing the steel loops and if possible, a smaller folded up radius… Obviously, it would have to sell at a much higher price point.

Great quality, easy set up and take down!

My intended use for this is quite different than most others. I am a wedding DJ and many times find that I am providing sound for ceremonies outside. Typically, most only happen during nice weather. However, there are times when the weather can be dicey. While the bride is certainly willing to take the chance on having their guests get a little wet, I am not willing to do that with my equipment. Water and electronics do not mix! This pop up tent now provides me with a security blanket. If it rains, I can cover my speaker system in a matter of seconds. The attachable rain cover (included free) is an invaluable accessory.I love the quality of this tent, the ease-of-use, and how small everything packs up in its own carrying bag. Well done!

glad I went for this slightly more expensive pop up – well build sturdy and was a great bathroom setup for a small group camping trip.. we have also used it as a shower setup with my teardrop trailer. Three years later- it has become an indispensable addition to our teardrop trailer camping.

Great to have, tough to fold

I love the green elephant for being light weight, thin when stored, sets up easy, all really good. Down side is folding. Even after watching videos. Almost seems like luck when I do get it done! Still, I bought 1 as a gift because the good outweighs the bad…

    Very happy with this purchase

We bought this for our annual camping trip but it’s not for several months. First and foremost, before you take the tent out of the box, watch the video the company emails to you. This is very important so that you will understand how to set it up and how to fold it properly to fit inside the bag. It’s a pop-up tent and it sets up within seconds, and folds up and back in the bag in seconds if you learn how to fold and twist it. It has a mesh bag inside to put stuff in and even has a place to hang a lantern. Since we do extreme camping we plan on using this for an outhouse so I bought a porta potty, chemicals and bags. This tent arrived in 2 days, which also impresses me. Very happy with this purchase. We also plan on using it at the beach to change out of our sandy bathing suits before getting in the car. Another thing that impressed us was the height. We have a family member who is 6’3″ and this tent is so much taller than him! He walked inside and was able to stand normally in it. It comes with ground stakes and sandbags, I’m a little concerned how light weight the stakes are but we will bring more sturdy stakes with us just in case. Anyways, if you are looking for a great looking tent as a changing room or porta potty, I highly recommend this product.

Fantastic – well-made and easy to open and fold

I paid more for this pop-up shelter than I planned to but am so glad I did. I purchased it for use with our portable potty so we could travel during the COVID pandemic without having to go into public restrooms. It opened easily and in seconds. I read the instructions and watched the video before trying to fold it – I got it in one go and it took about 10 seconds with no problems. It’s very well made with lots of thoughtful touches (toilet paper holder, inside pocket, mesh roof with hole for portable shower, and bags for sandbags). This was well worth the money.

Wish we’d bought this years ago

Bought this for a camping vacation with someone who needs frequent bathroom trips. It was fantastic. It pops up easily, folds back down easily, and is fairly sturdy. It seems well made. It’s pretty roomy inside, both wide enough and tall enough that it wasn’t cramped. We could use the luggable-loo or change inside it comfortably. The fact that it had no floor made it so we didn’t get it dirty. There is a elastic strap about 5 feet up on one side (barely visible in one of the photos I posted) works for hanging light-weight clothing, but we mostly used it to hang a small light from. The toilet paper holding strap will not hold a full roll and still allow you to turn the roll to use it, so either pack a few 1/3 left rolls or do as I did: make a deluxe toiletry holder out of a drink holder stake and a over-the-tank toilet paper holder screwed together. Lookit that thing. Deluxe. The video that Green Elephant made is very, very good at explaining how to fold the tent. Just google “green elephant tent folding” to find that video. Practice folding the tent a few times before you bring it out “in the wild.” I made an instruction sheet for folding the pop-up, and posted it here with the review. Hopefully it will be printable once it’s posted, and you all can use it too. The instruction sheet can remind you how to fold it if you forget, or help if somebody else is folding it. All that said, folding it is very easy. …although my 62-year old mom couldn’t do it alone- she didn’t have the wrist strength.I loaned this tent and its contents to somebody camping with little kids so they wouldn’t have to deal with the pit toilets at the campground as much. I showed them how to fold it in advance of the trip, and they learned quickly.

    Great for privacy

This is very easy to setup and store. I set it up the first time in my back yard in the dark. I had no issues and only took about 5 minutes. I plan to use this as privacy area to change clothes, toilet and/or shower when others join me while camping. My Popup does not have a toilet or shower. I don’t need this when I am by myself but will set it up when someone tags along. I like that they provide bags that can be filled with sand/rocks/dirt to keep the corners down in the wind when using on pavement.

Works great as a tailgate bathroom!

We recently purchased this privy to use at tailgates as a bathroom. We have set it up and torn it down a couple times now. It is a very nice product. Takes less than a minute to put up, is very tall, so lots of head space. I like the way the door opens from side to side as opposed to from bottom to top like some other choices. There is a loop to hang a roll of TP on and a mesh pocket for sanitizer and wipes. The quality is very nice! We love it!

    Great product!

It took a couple of times learning how to fold it up, but once I got it down, it was easy peasy! We used it as a beach bathroom/toilet since we were a ways from our condo. The wind was 25-30 mph, but it was no problem for the Green Elephant. We’ll get plenty of usage out of this tent….totally worth the money spent.

Great quality toilet/shower utility tent. Love it!

Arrived today, opened it up right away. It opened up easily. The quality looks great. We are developing and clearing some newly purchased property, and this will work perfect for my potty needs without having to drive down the street or “hold it for hours”. This is the tallest tent of this sort on the market and you do not have to duck your head inside. It’s very open on top with the mesh in case you’re a little claustrophobic like me. As far as folding it back up to stow in the bag, we watched several different you tube videos with different teaching styles & slightly different folding methods. This really helped as you can pause and stop to see what they are doing. It only took us a few tries in the living room and once you get it, it’s very easy and quick. I have been buying camping type products for years and I love the technology today without all the threading of poles, & excessive directions. This is just wonderful.

It even has a cover for the top if you don’t want to get wet inside. The only problem I had with it was the directions. It said to start At the bottom and fold/Turn. I didn’t want to damage it so I tried a few times before I tried it the opposite direction. It worked Perfect. Easy to use and stow away.

Highest quality tent of this type I have seen

There are lots of photos of the outside of a GE Utilitent all over the internet so I focused on pics of the inside for a comprehensive review. This thing is tall, at a smidge over 6’10”. I have a couple 6’3″-6’4″ men among my usual camping crew so I was looking for a tall shower/changing tent to accommodate them. I’ve used several of these tents belonging to different friends, including the popular Wolfwise version, and have no problem with most of them (though definitely it seems like you get what you pay for).General impressions: the materials are quality and durable, it’s normal quality tent fabric and the mosquito netting seems sturdy. The zippers are great, many of these tents have weak zippers. This seems like a quality product that is worth the money. It’s roomy, I don’t think I’d have any problem using the tent for any of its intended uses.I’m about 5’6″. The height of the tent was ok. I had to kind of toss the rainfly over the top and pull the tent down a bit to manage the hooks for it at an easy height, but I handled it without a step ladder. A 5’2″ friend asked for help. Most of the features of this tent are obvious in the description. But I didn’t know there would be a towel hanger line across the outside back, that’s very useful. I also read an older review that the points where the wire “skeleton” meets the ground are weak points that are likely to fray. The tent I got has yellow nylon webbing reinforcing these spots, so looks like they addressed that issue.I wanted a tent with no floor so I didn’t have to hassle with a wet or muddy tent after showers or storms, I got a 5×7 ft tarp to put under it if needed, making for much easier cleaning.Folding the tent was fairly easy. There’s a paper with instructions in the bag and a video on YouTube. My first go at folding the tent up took 2 tries, the first time I learned if you feel like you have to force it, you’re doing it wrong. Once you begin to fold it up the wires can really only go one way, you just guide them into place.A couple things that would make this better: rather than a shower nozzle hole at the top, a gusset would have been better to keep more bugs out and close that hole when not in use, as it is I will probably try to make a gusset to sew onto it. Also this would be more useful for RVers if it had a zipper window or two on the back or a side to access outdoor shower controls on an RV. The toilet paper roll holder is a great idea, but it would result in wet TP during rain or at night, as the TP would hang against the side of the tent. So I probably wouldn’t use it as designed there, or at least you’d want to lay a shopping bag or other plastic over it. But the loop could be used for holding a trash bag. Also folding it up, sure would be nice to have a clip or tether to keep it folded while you put it in the bag.Overall: I’m glad I bought this and would definitely suggest it to my friends, whether of average or great stature (the shorter folks might choose some other tent).

How to have a shower while tent camping

My son, grandson and I go on ATV camping trips with friends and we are the only ones who don’t have an RV. RVs don’t seem like real camping to me but now I see that it’s just a different style of camping. Anyway, my son eventually wants an RV too, and one of the reasons is that after the ATV rides he comes back dirty and dusty. He found out that making a portable shower is very simple. Water pump, hoses and nozzle, 7 gallon water containers, and an enclosure. (We don’t need a water heater for now cause we camp in practically always sunny Arizona, and the sun heats the water just fine.) I was in charge of getting the enclosure. I liked this one because it is extra tall. Then when I started comparing features with other ones that are a little less expensive I decided on this. The reviews are good and I can see why. It’s so easy to use and it folds flat and goes into the flat bag that’s included. It looks and feels like a well made, quality product. He used it this past weekend when we went beach camping up at Lake Powell by the Glen Canyon dam. My son was very happy when he stepped out of his shower, nice and clean. It is an excellent product. We will also be using it as a toilet enclosure for when there are no facilities. After it arrived, the owner of the company emailed me to make sure it had arrived undamaged. They had had some problems with delivery guys throwing around their packages. Maybe because the packages are so lightweight? I think it speaks well for a company when the owner is proactive about making sure their product gets to the customer in good shape. One of the reasons I like to buy from small companies. It feels good to give them my business.

Finally a tent that is easy to fold up!

Trust me this is the one you should buy. Have had several of these over the years made by other companies. Folding them back and putting them into their storage case was very difficult. This one is so easy anyone could do it. Only two steps. It is also made thoughtfully and with a high regard for quality.

Mine (the first one) slipped past QC

Overall, this tent is of better construction and materials than other similar tents that I’ve seen. I like the dark material, it is somewhat less translucent than the cheaper camo patterned tent that we own. The included guy lines and solid attachment points for them are what really sold me on this particular product. Unfortunately, the unit I received had slipped past quality control. There was a small slit in the material adjacent one of the sewn in webbing loops for securing the rain fly. It appears that the damage had likely occurred when the webbing was being trimmed after sewing it in. As the slit was in an area that is under tension and the material is not rip-stop patterned, I knew it would not be long before the slit would start to get bigger. As I was to be heading out on a camping trip soon after receiving the tent, I decided to repair the tear myself rather than exchange the defective product and take a chance on not receiving the replacement in time. Two pieces of Tenacious Tape and a good dab of Seam Grip did the trick and should hopefully hold up well. The tent performed well as a toilet shelter on its inaugural trip and I love how easy it is to setupEDIT: The owner of Green Elephant later contacted me and offered a refund or replacement. I took him up on the replacement as I can’t imagine finding a better version of this type of tent elsewhere, and his personal attention to keeping a customer happy with their purchase was very impressive to me. This is a good product offered at a great price and the company that makes stands behind it. Hard to go wrong there.

Easiest shower tent to put up.

We finally had a chance to go camping and use our new shower tent. We had it up instantly, put in a bamboo floor mat, Zodie shower and we were ready to go. It is very stable, we didn’t even have to use tie downs when a bit of wind came up. It is very private, has plenty of room inside, holds your soap and shampoo, dries quickly and was very easy to fold up and slip back into its carry case. The zippers are well made and exactly as described. We love it and would recommend it to anyone.

    The design is perfect!

This product arrived quickly and in perfect shape. We have set it up and it’s just what we want for Lake Powell and a few other places that we may want some privacy while showering or even putting the potty in. It seems very sturdy. It was a little tricky putting it away at first but after watching the video we got it. I would suggest this product!

a bit pricey but very nice utility tent

This cost quite a bit more than the other tents I considered buying but I’m glad I spent the extra dollars. It’s a pretty solid tent and there’s lots of room. Most of these types of tents are usually around 6.0 or 6.2 foot but this is 6’10”. Even though I’m not over 6 foot myself, I appreciate the extra height.- as they caution, make sure that you have a clear area when you unfold this because the beams to this are pretty stiff and can snap open suddenly if you’re not careful.- watch the video before going camping and practice a couple of times. It’s pretty simple but due to the stiffness of the beams it can be difficult to manage at first. I’m probably using the wrong term but what I call a ‘beam’ is the plastic insert at the seams that holds the fabric of the tent together and gives the tent it its shape. Other similar tents have fairly flexible beams but these are very stiff. I mention this because on youtube there is a video showing some guy folding the tent while standing and holding the tent in the air. Unless you’re like 6’9″ and 275 I doubt you can do this with this tent since the beams are much stiffer and the tent is much bigger; which is a good thing, not bad. As shown on their video, you probably want to lay this on the ground to fold it. I’d also suggest putting something at the top you can press against so the tent doesn’t move while you’re folding it.I take issue though with their video because you want to make sure that when you place the tent on the ground that there is nothing underneath that may tear it while you’re folding it up. The tent material is not that sturdy, nor should it be for this type of tent. Anyway, make sure there aren’t any rocks or branches underneath.- outdoors in the sun, you shouldn’t have any problem with privacy. Night time, any light inside is going to cast an image out and the stronger the light, well… Also, shining a bright light outside in will reflect to the other side. This is true of just about any tent.- I don’t understand why commenters keep stating there is no hole at the top. This is one of the features of the tent. The top is basically netting with about a 4 inch hole at the top for inserting a shower. (Not to worry, there’s an optional tent cover you can place over the top of the tent) I personally can’t use this hole. The portable shower I have only comes with 6′ tubing. Remember, the tent is 6’10” so you need at least 9 or 10 feet of tubing. I could extend the length but why? Inside the tent is a lantern hook at the top and this suits me fine. I just put the water on a stand and use the hook to hold the shower head. But, different strokes for different folks. Also note that this doesn’t have a floor which is good; you’re not going to be sleeping in there. I just carry with me fatigue mats. They’re lightweight and easy to clean.

We’ve purchased a number of items from Green Elephant, the most recent of which is the Utilitent. True to form, the Utilitent is well made, lightweight, and easy to fold back up when you’re ready to leave. We love that it has mosquito netting on the top and also a rain fly for inclement weather. Awesome multi-function privacy tent

The tent, after watching the instruction video, is a breeze to set up and take down. Has enough holders and straps inside to set it up as an effective shower or portable outhouse. Was really happy to see stakes and whatnot included, granted, you’ll probably want to sturdier/lighter stakes and attachment cords… but if you’re taking this with you then weight is likely not something you’re worrying about. It is on the heavier side (read, solid construction) so I’m sure it’ll last a long time, just don’t expect to take this this backpacking unless you’re not taking a tent with you and are using this as a changing room for a privact tent/hammock combo. All in all, thrilled with this purchase. Even comes with a waterproof cover that serves as a roof when needed, though it does cut down on ventilation.

Indeed it is sturdy. I’d like to see a more durable hook for holding the shower head. The hook provided is for a lightweight showerhead that would come with a solar shower. I use a regular showerhead that comes with a hot water on-demsnd system.Would also like a place for a bar of soap.Otherwise it is well made.

    Perfect for a privacy toilet

This privacy shelter was excellent super easy to assemble it just popped right up and putting it down was not that bad once you figured it out it became very easy. it is big enough for even the biggest person and my husband who is fairly big had no problem fitting into it. I gave it to my daughter for her birthday on our camping trip and she was so excited. it was the first time she was able to use her porta potty and not have to go up to the shower house l. Very happy with this one – pretty easy to setup, and put away. Just used it on a backcountry off-roading trip, and it made potty stops for the ladies in the family much more bearable. One suggestion to the seller though would be to include some printed instructions on how to fold it up. The instructions did mention that an instructional video was available online, but it wasn’t clear where to find it. Had to do a bit of searching. The video is helpful, but something printed that could be stored with the tent would be helpful as well. For the curious, a video demo can be found by searching for “Folding up a popup tent The utilitent” on Youtube, posted by the user “Green Elaphant”. Some individuals find this bathroom option extreme, but if you live with seniors, who are at high risk, then you would understand why this option is necessary, with covid-19. Providing this bathroom option, makes family visits possible. Try not to force it though when closing the tent. It takes a little patience and practice, but honestly, it works well for our needs.

We love it!

Worked out great – easy to put up and take down

Used this for the first time this last weekend as a camping porta-potty. Worked out great – easy to put up and take down, nice and stable too. Plus, it’s the only one that was big enough for me (6’8″ and 340lbs). Seems very well built, expect it to last for many years of camping and beach trips.Minor suggestions: – Make the strap for the toilet paper holder about an inch or so longer (big rolls really don’t fit)- A nice feature would be to have “flaps” along the bottom on all sides that you could throw some dirt on to provide a bit of a seal against bugs. Could also function as built-in sand bags if done right.

    Would buy again!

This is an incredible, durable, super-nice “potty/dressing room/shower tent” that fits my needs perfectly. I have had a similar item in the past that was not near the quality of this one. I only gave “light weight” a rating of 3 because the folded up package has a bit of weight to it; but that’s because it’s made of a durable fabric. I don’t mean a “3” as a bad thing; in this case–I feel it is the best rating possible. The inside pocket, TP holder and towel/clothing line are a plus. I also like the towel hook on the right side of the door on the outside. Very convenient! I would encourage you to purchase this item if you are in the market. In my opinion it’s the best one available.

Great Tent with an Impressive Height!

We bought this for an upcoming trip. The extra tall height is really nice and will be comfortable for my tall 6’5″ fiancé. He was impressed with the size of this tent. We love the TP holder idea… HA! Easy to set up and easy to take down. Love the included rain tarp and the sand bags and the little touches like the mesh bag for shower items or the hook for clothing or a lantern. There is no “floor” to this tent… so if you need a floor… this isn’t the tent for you. This tent is perfect for changing or for a camping toilet privacy solution. Condenses down to a pretty flat circular shape (in it’s zipped case) that will fit easily out of the way behind the back seat in our Tundra.

Fast setup, easy to fold fits easily back into carry bag. While camping we had 30 -35 mph gusts for 2 days. The sides flexed from the heavier gusts, but tent held up well. A couple tips for securing the tent for high winds: Don’t skip using the included paracord to anchor top of tent. Use the full length of each piece for maximum angle. The stakes will pull out unless it’s really solid soil, so just grab some 5-10 pound rocks and put one on top of all 8 stakes.

BUT… After doing it a few times it became easier. Even I can do it and I’m not that strong. Love the hole in the top of it so we can put the shower head through it. Great item and worth the money spent on it.

Well done!

Our son has many stairs to his upstairs bathroom, and because we are now seniors, we just can’t do them stairs anymore, so we bought this, to use as a portable toilet! He sets it up on his front porch, so we don’t have to do his stairs anymore! We also bought a portable toilet, a portable urinal, and a walker to help get the ladies off the toilet, and a portable light, it all works out greeeeeeeeat!

    So happy with this!

After reading reviews in other enclosures, I decided to go with this one. I received it fast and received a link in email for an instructional video. It was really easy to put up and take down, rarely can I find something that will fit back into the original bag, and this did lol.I love that it comes with sand bag option, as we camp on the beach and there is no way to steak it into the ground. It is really durable and seems to be made with great quality. We do not use a hanging solar bag for shower so I wasn’t concerned with being able to hang. We bought a flo-master bleach sprayer and remove the pressure nozzle tip. If you leave it in the sun it’s warm in the evening. Great shower option and you don’t have to worry about hanging it.We used this enclosure for both portable toilet and to shower.Great product and great price!

Very well made and thought out!

Prior to purchasing this, I had a cheaper version that had no rainfly and the material was not nearly as heavy and sturdy as this one. I also had the Ozark Trail two room shower tent. While I really like the Ozark Trail and will use it when camping with my boyfriend, when I go camping alone, I feel like I’m in a wrestling match trying to take it down. Plus, even when packed up, it takes up a lot of room. Bought this Green Elephant for my solo trips, and so far, I think I will be pleased. I practiced setup (a breeze – just get out of its way!) and taking it down. After a few practice tries, I can get it down in a matter of seconds. It folds flat to save space(I actually stow it under the bed in my camper!), has a rain fly for keeping dry on wet mornings, and a hole for a solar shower. I’m not quite sure how I will rig up the shower itself, but I’m thinking that maybe I can put the tent close enough to my camper to leave the solar bag on the roof of the camper or tow vehicle when showering. Plenty of room inside for my Luggable Loo portable toilet. If not, I may invest in a different type of shower system. Either way, I’m anticipating being very pleased with this product!UPDATE: After using it on a camping trip over the weekend, I am even more impressed! I did not use the shower, but it was perfect for a quick (and close) bathroom! After watching the video and practicing a few times before my trip, I was able to take the shelter down in mere seconds! VERY happy with this purchase!

Finally a Shower/Toilet Tent that has some QUALITY!!!

This tent is a little heavier than others and has no windows. It also has a detachable fly to cover the open top – an option we won’t use at the beach. That said, this tent is ‘head and shoulders’ above the cheaper selections available and well worth the extra money. This item is made of quality fabric, with excellent attention to seam stitching, and with higher quality zippers that appear durable and with smooth action when being used. While stakes are also of good quality and will be fine for normal camping, the included stakes and detached sand bags seem to be the wrong approach for beach use. For the beach we would suggest eight aluminum 12″ sand stakes – four for the corners and four for the tie down ropes (included). This tent also has a heavier gauge metal frame that folds up easily – a HUGE plus!! We have had THREE cheaper pop up tents and all either broke – frame, zippers or both – in limited use or were of such poor quality they got sent back. All in all this appears to be a great improvement and real winner!

Extra tie down spots are GREAT!

Item is exactly as described. We use ours as a changing area by our pool. This works great. The fact that there are fasteners towards the top of the tent and not just the bottom is extremely helpful. The extra tie down keeps it up even in heavier winds. We had a different company before that only had tie downs on the bottom corners. The wind would always blow it down and collapse it. So far, this one is holding on strong with those extra tie downs.

    Change clothes in a Pop!

I purchased this item to used at the beach, as a changing room. I must have spent about 2 hours looking at several different options before finally landing on this one. What sold me on this one was the included sand bags (4 total) to anchor it to the ground and prevent it from blowing away.It does not have floor (it’s open to the ground) but that was fine with me as it’s less of a mess to have to clean up. It does have a towel bar, which is convenient if you’re changing and go in with a towel around your waist. I also like the D-shaped door, as it allows you to zip from either side and get in/out. Also, if you’re using it next to an RV (which I have done) the D-shaped door allows you to pass the outdoor shower head into the tent and still have the door zipped closed. In that case, what I do is place a plastic storage container on the ground (with some holes strategically drilled into it for draining purposes) and I stand in side the container while showering. Works great! If you’re looking to hang a water bladder inside to use to shower with, this tent will not support that. It does have an opening at the top to allow a shower head to come through, but you’d have to hang the water bladder from a tree limb for it to be supported. This was not my intention when I purchased it, so it didn’t bother me that it was missing this function.

RESCUED Parents at the Church Picnic

We bought this to take camping, but we got to try it out this weekend at our church Labor Day picnic. There were no facilities at our chosen gathering place and we had 55 children under the age of ten drinking sweet tea and lemonade with their burgers and dogs. I threw this in the back of the van and brought it for emergencies. We put a Luggable Loo inside along with a crate of sawdust and composting toilet instructions. No adults used it but the kids lined up!!! SAVED OUR PARTY. Have you ever been to a party and there are no public toilets and YOUR kid has to go? First off, it stinketh not. No kidding. I’m super impressed with the construction, the ease of set-up, and take down was SUPER SIMPLE! Granted, I have experience with this sort of pop up, but it really just slid right back down into shape. AMAZING. I mean, a toilet strap? Genius! Pockets everywhere, extra pockets if you need them, great ventilation, BEST privacy tent out there. I’d buy another one in a heartbeat. It was worth every penny just for the one event! Heck, we might need another one so we can have a semi-permanent shower AND toilet set up whilst wilderness camping. They thought of everything, its a great tent. You won’t regret it!!!

    Very Well Made

I have not used the unitent yet, but I did put it up in my home to see how it was made. Decent quality, and it is high enough for a tall person to be comfortable inside it. I watched a few videos about dismantling it – which I highly recommend doing – and I had little trouble. I am a petite person, and I managed to do it myself on the first try. Watch the video, and you should not have any trouble. I will update this review later once I have actually used the tent on a camping trip.

Easy to use, classy, discreet, roomy, so convenient

This tent is EXCELLENT! It packs so small and pops out so easily into a spacious, tall tent. It’s perfect for using the bathroom in a social distant, safe way during pandemic (in a backyard, on a road trip to avoid public restrooms, etc.). And I will be using this a lot for camping, as a changing tent, etc. It seems like it would work great as a shower as well. There’s a small hole in the top that seems to be perfect for a shower nozzle. There’s a convenient little pouch inside where you can store toiletries, toilet paper, etc. and the top of the tent makes it very breezy with its mesh-type fabric. It’s also attractive and classy looking, so it makes it less embarrassing if you are using it as a bathroom.

    Great product!!!

I was initially going back and forth about this product because it is slightly more expensive than the other changing tents, BUT ultimately decided on this one because of it’s size and sturdier construction, and this didn’t disappoint. This product came super quick! We immediately took it out and set it up to see what it looked like. Here’s what I love about the product:- It feels sturdy with the thicker material.- It’s so tall and feels very roomy inside.- It’s so easy and quick to set up and take down. (after watching a YouTube video about how to fold it up, take down was a breeze)- All the “extras” it comes with too to keep it securely staked/weighted down.- That it thoughtfully includes the strap for hanging towels, etc., the smaller strap for toilet paper, AND the big sized storage pouch. It’s DEFINITELY worth the few extra bucks!

    Designed and constructed very well

So far, very nice quality. It pops up easily, and folds up just as easy once you learn how to do it. It is very important that if you have any chance of wind, you use not only the guy-wires pegged to the ground, but also stake down the bottom of the tent at all four corners. Otherwise, wind will still push it around and possibly damage the tent. If you stake the four corners in addition to using 4 guy-wires, it will be very stable, even in moderate wind gusts. The interior has a velcro strap for toilet paper and pockets for shower products. The top is mesh for ventilation, and it also came with a rain fly to cover the top if it’s raining. This tent is taller and wider than some others I’ve seen. I’m very happy with this item.

We use this as a potty tent with a Luggable Loo. Works great and keeps us from having to hike to a bathhouse or off into the woods in the middle of the night. The quality is excellent. We had a different brand before and it started fraying immediately. We’ve used this a dozen or so times now and it looks like new. It is very opaque- nobody will see you. Construction of this tent is well built, and if you follow the instructions then will have no issues putting this away. So far the zippers will hold up if you handle with care, just like anything. Top is vented mesh and come with a rain fly. I haven’t done it yet, but I’m sure you can 3M rain protect it to make this water resistant as well. Highly recommend the Green Elephant Brand Utilitent.

This tent worked very well even in strong gusts. Used it for 12 consecutive days. Roomy enough for dressing or toilet privacy. TP holder, extra net pocket for extra TP or incidentals, shower accommodation, top air flow and rain fly, excellent material with no water leakage, strong zipper, and door straps all make this Utilitent the best of its kind. I even watched the video and was able to get it back into its case! Solved my privacy problem within seconds and just a few minutes to easily anchor down. Best privacy tent out there

Excellent product – solid quality and construction, very functional. Since I’m 6’3″ I searched a long time for an extra tall privacy tent and glad I did because this one is worth the extra bucks. The extra features of sand bag anchors plus ground stakes will help for when we’re in windy conditions which happens a lot. We plan to use it both with our portable toilet and our battery powered portable shower. We’re going to use a small ground tarp to stand on during a shower so as not to splatter mud all over the inside. This tent does not have a floor so adding the extra tarp below will allow water to run out. It’s a little tricky folding up but go on Green Elephant’s website and the video will show you how. I was able to do it first time.

    Awesome for beside our pool!

Our pool is up and running, but we dont have our privacy fence and we have several surveillance cameras on the property… so I popped this tent up beside the pool and now we have a nice enclosed private place to change.I have not at all tried to fold it, but 100% know I will NOT be able to do it. I can never fold these things. We won’t fold it until the end of swim season.

    Great for camping

We used this tent as a changing room and a shower room. Inside was a place to hang a towel and some clothes. The top was open for ventilation. At night when using a lamp your silhouette cannot be seen from the outside. It is well built. Zippers feel solid and the material used doesn’t feel like it will easily rip. Easy to assemble and take down. Very compact

Very Sturdy and Spacious Shower Tent

Its a very sturdy shower tent. It takes a little effort to fold it back to travel size. I’m 6’1” and I fit inside of it well. Plenty of headspace while standing inside. I do have to duck under the door to get inside and out.

I would recommend this product to anyone as it is awesome.

I purchased to use when group camping and bathroom facilities aren’t present. I considered a number of other tents that cost less and am glad I went with the Green Elephant. It’s much larger and very sturdy. The zipper design makes it much easier to get in/out. The tent will serve as a shower and port-a-potty.

Held up great in 30 mph gusts

Just arrived and set up in backyard to test it out. I applied a coat of 303 waterproofing and a coat of permethrin to lessen bugs in and around the shelter as I will be using camping as a toilet and shower stall. The sprays didn’t stain the material at all.I had regular 20 mph winds with gusts of 30-35 mph over the evening so left it out all night and this morning it was doing just fine against the wind.Smart idea to include the sandbag bags should it be needed to provide stability in sandy soiled areas.Only upgrade I provided is to replace the metal pegs, which will do the job in most circumstances, and am replacing with MSR aluminum tent pegs.Btw, the set up and tear down/folding and storage was so simple. Took a few minutes to set up and tear down.

a bit pricey but very nice utility tent

    Worth the money.

I used this as a shower tent last weekend while camping. I also changed clothes in it. Much easier that trying to change clothes in my small tent. It worked great. Note that the instructions included do NOT show you how to fold the tent back up. The instructions want you to view a video that shows you how. I didn’t have cell or Internet service at the campsite so I had to throw the tent in the back of my pickup until I could get home and figure it out.

I’d like to share that I did not want to purchase this product for our camping trip. I thought an out door restroom…NOPE. Well, I’m extremely happy I did. This outdoor restroom is roomy, provides excellent privacy, has plenty of ventilation, and storage pockets. This was one of my best investments yet.

    Fantastic product

This little gem unfolds into its proper shape in literally 4 seconds. It’s like some windshield sun screens. Take it out of the bag, toss it somewhere and stand back. It’s also pretty easy to put back. I bought it for an emergency place to go potty, and bought a potty chair to use inside. It’s perfect for that–it even has a place to hold toilet paper on the right! They did not brag ENOUGH about this item. I also took a shower in it (held a garden hose up by using a porch rail and clamps,) and it was great. The fabric does not seem as sturdy as some tents, so watch out for tears. Yesterday I had it out in gusts of 30 mph with only the accompanying stakes to hold it. One gust knocked it flat, but it bounced back into perfect shape immediately like a jack-in-the-box! The next gust caused one of the stakes (they are REALLY skinny and light weight) to pull out and the whole thing went over. I replaced it with a longer, bigger stake and had no more trouble. They say it comes with a “rain fly” but I’m about certain this thing is not waterproof. There are places near the top where you can attach guy lines secured to stakes that would make it more stable in gusty situation. It does not have a floor. There are loops to hold the door open if you like. The roof is light weight mesh with an opening of about 5 inches diameter. I looked at some similar items with a 3×3 footprint, but I’m VERY glad I spent a little extra money and got this one with a 4×4 footprint. I think a 3×3 would be super cramped. My sincere complements for the folks who designed this.

Great product and fabulous customer service!

This tent was a *huge* hit with everyone, especially the women, on our recent off-roading 5-day adventure in Canyonlands National Park. The tent was quick and easy to set up in the boonies and provided just the privacy and comfort needed.Unfortunately the zipper on the carry pouch failed on the first try, but as soon as I got signal I emailed the seller , who promptly responded with a promise to immediately send a replacement pouch to my shipping address. Not only that, she gave me a *full refund* on the entire purchase for my trouble! When we got back to civilization, I got a brand new carry pouch within a day. With that kind of customer service, you know I’ll be buying more products from Green Elephant and recommending them to anyone who need great products and superior customer service!

Great bathroom/changing room solution for our camping trips! Sand bags came in handy at the beach to weight down the stakes. Cumbersome to fold at first (see YouTube video instead of manual) but after a couple of times it’s a breeze. I haven’t tried it as a shower yet but opening on top could use a little reinforcement. Otherwise it was a great purchase for the family members that can’t easily hit the wood lines :).

This thing is awesome! easy to set up, take down and pack in vehicle. We were missing the rain cover when it arrived. The excellent customer service sent us one within 2 days. These guys are great! perfect for changing, our portable shower and well, you know, the other stuff when nature calls. would highly recommend.

The design is thoughtful and practical; and the customer service is the same.

The first thing that I appreciated was that the seller contacted me before the product even arrived and asked me to contact them if I had any questions or concerns. Other things that we liked: the tent comes with everything you need to set it up using stakes or sand bags and these things are neatly packed in drawstring bags that help you keep them organized within the circular zip case that holds the tent itself. There’s a video that you can watch on YouTube to help you set it up the first time and once you’ve got it, it’s easy to do. Take down is likewise easy. We’ve used it twice now as a “potty” tent behind our pop up camper. It rained a lot and even without the rain fly on the first trip it was pretty dry. Definitely recommend using the rain fly to keep your TP dry, though, like we did on our second trip. I like that there’s a pocket for stuff and a little TP holder. The design is thoughtful and practical; and the customer service is the same. We’re planning on buying another for a solar shower tent.

Bonus.

    How tall it is!

This is really a great sturdy product. My husband is very tall so we needed a Tall unit. Some reviews said, hard to fold back up. We watched the video and yes, it really was. BUT… After doing it a few times it became easier. Even I can do it and I’m not that strong. Love the hole in the top of it so we can put the shower head through it. Great item and worth the money spent on it.

Full size and sturdy… & watch the video to fold!

Haven’t gotten to use it yet, but thrilled with the full size and sturdiness of this. Had been debating whether we actually needed one, but having a kid puts a different spin on camping sometimes! No more midnight hikes answering the call of nature. ;-)Had to watch the video a few times, step-by-step, to get the right technique of folding it back up, but it’s easy once you get the hang of it.Was super impressed that the manufacturer contacted me to make sure I was happy with my purchase and there weren’t any problems. That’s really nice and thankful I haven’t noticed anything awry with it. Will know more after real-time use.

    Design creators thought of everything!

I put some plywood down inside for a clean, flat surface to stand on. I wouldn’t want a sewed in bottom that makes airing out and cleaning difficult. Bought two and am extremely satisfied. The design creators thought of everything!

Excellent purchase. I bought this for use as a private area for outdoor showering while camping. Set up was very easy. Tent was very secure with stakes in ground and tethers from upper portion to ground. Plenty of room inside. Only issue was that putting away was so challenging I ended up leaving collapsed and just placed flat in the camper for future use.

Quality Tent at a Fair Price

Recently went on a 3 day camping trip to a regional park/ocean location. The tent was used as a privacy shelter holding our 5.3 gal portable toilet and shower. It was a pleasure to use. There was plenty of space in the tent. The material was opaque to light, ensuring privacy. The zippers were firm and operated without any issues. It does take careful attention to the instructions to understand how easy it is to fold the tent back into its pouch, otherwise you will wrestle with the tent.Overall, I am very satisfied and happy with the tent.

Large privacy tent, fast enough for roadside use.

It’s large! I’m 6’3″, and have plenty of room in this tent. It sets up VERY easily and quickly. My daughter needed an emergency bathroom on a long road trip. Pulled out bucket toilet, had tent set up in 10 seconds, I was very grateful for this. I used it as a makeshift shower at a very crowded solar eclipse campsite. It gave plenty of privacy. Once you watch the video, it is very easy to fold back up too. WATCH THE VIDEO. If you don’t watch it, good luck ever folding it back up. If you follow the procedure they show, it folds back up in just a few seconds. I love this thing. I’ll bring it on road trips from now on, along with the bucket toilet kit I put together.

    Great, convenient product.

We received this item just in time for our Memorial Day trip to the lake and so we took it with us to use as privacy area for changing clothes and also as a private restroom area. (We also purchased the folding toilet seat by Green Elephant.) Everything is great about it: the design, how easily it pops up and folds down, the extra features inside such as an attached storage bag, tissue holder, a strap for holding clothes, etc.The one negative thing I will say is that after only one trip, the carry bag that it fits into has two small tears. I am not aware of anything that we did to damage it. I have used a latex liquid stitch product to close the tears, which I hope will hold. I still really like the product-I just wish that fabric hadn’t torn on the very first outing. July 2019: I am adding an update:The Green Elephant people sent a replacement cover for the tent, which I appreciate. We have used this several more times for various camping and lake trips and we like it more than ever. The options for staking it out are really good- we’ve used the regular stakes, the guy wires, and also the sandbags, and the tent stays in place well. It’s a well designed and thought out product, and now one of my daughters has purchased one for her family camping. I highly recommend this product.

They said it was well made, but it failed us.

We bought this tent to use as an outhouse while we work on the property we’re going to build our house on. My wife is a little meek, so I bought this and the fold up toilet seat for her to use as a pit latrine. We had it up last fall for a month, then took it down, and put it back up a few weeks ago when we started prep work for the new house. We had trouble with the cheap little tent pegs the first time a strong wind came up, even though it’s in a grove of trees, so I bought some auger type pegs that would hold. They have rounded edges so I knew they wouldn’t tear up the peg straps. When we went back out to the property a few days ago, I saw the tent leaning, and figured that the strap had come off the peg, but when I checked, the strap had completely pulled away from the tent, on both ends. This is set up on the eastern side of a hill covered with trees, so it’s out of the westerly winds, as well as being behind a grove of trees. There were no actual “high winds” in the day or two we were not at the property, so I have to just assume either the manufacturer didn’t do this corner as well, or maybe none of them are stitched to specs. Regardless, the tent hasn’t lived up to it’s advertising that boasts of it’s strong construction and well built stitching and peg straps. I will say that before it failed, we were very happy with it. But if I spend my hard earned money on a product, and the sales pitch is that it is tough and built to hold up without the materials tearing, and the seams and stitching failing, it isn’t worth buying if it lets us down out in the middle of the woods. Especially since it’s total time outdoors was spent in the shade, out of strong winds and for less than a few months of use. Yes, I could put a grommet in it and fix it, but that’s not my job. I’m hoping they’ll replace it. Maybe we just got a lemon. Or a “Friday quitting time at the tent factory” one-off. I’m too use to Mountain Hardware and Sierra Designs gear, I guess.

I would recommend this product to anyone as it is awesome.

Big size, vent hole in top, toilet paper holder inside stakes down against wind

Good for privacy for desert lover. lots of room for the potty, tall. You need two people to twist the wired circles to collapse to compact it back into the package like a double sized car dash sun shield. Ok once you figure that out. Love this Christmas gift.

    Just the right height!

Loved everything about this product. It took only a few moments to figure out how to set up, however, once I got it no issues with taking down and assembling for the carry case. Great quality. Also, the height was important with this purchase. Comfortable enough for a 6’2″ trim man. Very pleased!

    Quality utilitent!

This Utilitent is going to be perfect for Electric Forest this year! Music festival shower lines are long and typically I wake up having to pee right away! So this will come in handy for sure!! We also bought the Nemo Helio LX shower to make things easy. Thanks for the great buy! 👍🏻 The tent is sturdy and stands pretty tall for my friends of taller stature. Great material, worth the money.

    Good tent.

Works as advertised. Don’t even bother trying to put this up if there’s anything stronger than a light breez. It will act like a kite and get you upset quick, even with 2 people. If there’s no wind it works great.

Providing a bathroom option without worry

Some individuals find this bathroom option extreme, but if you live with seniors, who are at high risk, then you would understand why this option is necessary, with covid-19. Providing this bathroom option, makes family visits possible. Try not to force it though when closing the tent. It takes a little patience and practice, but honestly, it works well for our needs.

    Good purchase

Fast setup, easy to fold fits easily back into carry bag. While camping we had 30 -35 mph gusts for 2 days. The sides flexed from the heavier gusts, but tent held up well. A couple tips for securing the tent for high winds: Don’t skip using the included paracord to anchor top of tent. Use the full length of each piece for maximum angle. The stakes will pull out unless it’s really solid soil, so just grab some 5-10 pound rocks and put one on top of all 8 stakes.

I’ll bring it on road trips from now on, along with the bucket toilet kit I put together.

    very handy

not as hard to fold as i thought it would be after reading other reviews. once you realize which side you need it to be on to fold it goes pretty easily. it was a life saver on our camping trip. used as a portable potty so we didn’t have to walk to the bathroom building in pitch black. also came in handy at our campsite with a 4 yr old who always waits to the very last minute to go to the bathroom.

    Best Quality Privacy Pop-Up Tent

This is by far the best quality privacy pop-up tent like this. I’ve used other brands, like one from Field and Stream, that were just flimsy and awkward to fold up. This one folds up with little effort. It will be a great addition to use along side of our pop-up camper. Now, I just hope we don’t have any pop-up thunderstorms while we’re in this pop-up tent… 😮

The tallest shelter that I could find

Although I haven’t tried to fold up the tent yet, getting it opened and ready was slick as a whistle. I needed a tall tent because my husband is 6 foot 9 and this seems to work great. It is certainly easy to open up and to take some rocks or sand and throw in a bag to hold it down it’s a pleasure to use and it looks like it’s well-made. I would recommend this to anyone even if they’re not six foot nine it has plenty of room and was a great purchase for me

Better quality material with more features

This is a good quality pop up that is made of much better quality material than the last one I had (that broke) that also has the added features of a tp roll holder, shower hole, and internal hanging storage bag inside the tent, a top cover, sandbags and stakes.

Great privacy tent. Held up well in a rainstorm from a tropical depression. Large enough to do whatever business you need to do, standing up or sitting down. Solid zippers and material all around. Setup and breakdown are easy. Folding back into the right shape takes a small amount of practice, but it is not difficult. Re-bagging it, once folded, is very easy as well.

Great solution for camping or whenever you need privacy.

    Great for a camping shower

Was skeptical but after using it, it’s sturdy and we will be keeping it. It’s a bit difficult to fold up, you need 2 people to do this. Also if you plan on using it for a camp shower, make sure you have a place to hang your water bag and something to stand on as the bottom is open. I like that it has several anchor points if you need them.

    Suggested Improvements

Indeed it is sturdy. I’d like to see a more durable hook for holding the shower head. The hook provided is for a lightweight showerhead that would come with a solar shower. I use a regular showerhead that comes with a hot water on-demsnd system.Would also like a place for a bar of soap.Otherwise it is well made.
