    Good tent

Good tent, easy to put up and down. Stood 30 mph winds this year it would be nice if it was a little bigger all the way around and larger zipper and heavier material… But it worked and thats all that matters!

    Big Dave

Well built, big enough for a big person yet packs small.

Pretty well built but light enough to be part of the small car camper gear. The only con is that setup and take down is fairly tough! Take several setup/take down cycles to master it. Also be sure to stake it down well if it’s windy. It will fly away otherwise.

    Happy camper with privacy!

We are very happy with the Cleanwaste GO anywhere Privacy Shelter. Plenty of ventilation and a pocket that holds TP, wet wipes and a small box of liners for the potty. It is well made (worth the price) and easy to set up and stores compactly. Paired with the Luggable Loo, it has made this woman’s camping experience a whole lot happier!.

    Well made, but….

Sturdy, well made, easy assembly, but…. this is a shower tent, yet there is not a slit at mid-height to access the on/off knobs or to be able to control the spray hose. It does have the slit at the top to slide the spray hose through, but other tents I have used had one at mid-height and that is what I was expecting… hopefully I can rig something up with duct tape! Size (height & weight), one piece set-up, and apparent durability are excellent. Even the carry bag was well-made with extra support in the bottom (great for the weight of the metal stakes).

    Hot showers while camping=happy wife

We used this as a shower tent on our last camping trip, and it worked great. We hung a solar shower above it. With the windows closed, it’s amazing how warm it gets inside. One of my showers was at night when it was about 50degrees out and I was totally comfortable. The warmth of the water heats the thing up better than you would think. Maybe the high humidity helps too, as the water isn’t evaporating off your body.

Came from the factory with the enclosure sewn around the frame work inside out. Absolutely worthless. There is even a video on YouTube that explains how to disassemble it and reassemble it. However, you need to cut away some of the feed-throughs to do so.Do yourself a favor; don’t bother taking the risk to buy a effed up one and if you did buy one, throw it in the garbage and start over.

    Good gear.

After using this for some time as a shower/toilet, I’ve given it five stars. It stows well, comes with a bag, assembles very quickly, breaks down quickly, and appears to be durable enough. Has even withstood a few crushing windstorms that have cropped up unexpectedly in the desert. The extra touches on this also make it worth the money – if it’s cold outside, close the vents. If it’s hot, open them. Put the shower nozzle through the top, or else velcro it shut if it’s raining on your toilet. Tie off the door if it’s blowing in the wind. Well worth the money in my opinion.

    Great Poop Tent

So I was not really on board to buy this at first because I like to air things out when I am camping….gets you in tune with nature….I also crap with the door open on the porta-potty. But for some reason my wife was not as down for that…go figure. So we purchased this because a YouTube famous person said it was great, and it is! This tent stores nicely and is very sturdy. Even has a nice magazine pouch for holding my favorite reading material. We have also used it for a shower enclosure. It has a nice hole in the top to run the showerhead or hose….

    Loved This

OK. Here goes this interesting post. In short, I loved this thing. I just returned from a 10 day, high alpine hunt. I’m not one to dig holes in the ground and squat. For a base camp toilet, this thing is great. It offers privacy and is sufficiently roomy. If needed, it can also double as a shower room. I have a small 2′ x 2′ portable outdoor wood shower floor. Very handy if you need a shower in the back woods.

A Great Choice for Portable Change Rooms!

This is perfect for its intended use as a change room on the beach. It’s well made, has a good zipper, plenty of room and really is easy to put up and take down. I would give it 5 stars but need to wait to see how it holds up under constant use first. As an added bonus, this product was ordered through Global Amazon to Costa Rica and it arrived within 6 days and in perfect condition with no hidden or extra charges that often occur with international orders. Well done Amazon!

Better than the one we used to have!!!!

We previously had one that you had to bend straight, fiberglass poles. Those cracked on the first use. This one is MUCH better than that one. It’s difficult to figure it out in the beginning. With a little practice it becomes easier. It still takes two people to put this up.I would recommend. We use it for tailgating at football games.

    Privacy at last!

Got this to “house” our portapotty. Easy to assemble and will withstand very strong winds if you stake it properly. Built of strong materials. Would have been nice if they did not label the tent with large white letters pointing out that it is an outhouse (only reason for the 1 star reduction)! There is no floor in the unit so flies and other critters will get in overnight through the bottom…forcing the first user to have to chase them all out…

What a piece of junk. It is sitting on ground at campsite until we cool down enough to try to fold up for return. We think it is probably inside out. Two of us spent 45 minutes trying to set it up and we gave up. My husband has built his own home but this very cheaply made tent got the best of him. The poles and fabric are too thin. Also the connectors are cheap plastic. I guess we got a lemon and won’t have any privacy this trip.

    Well worth the reasonable cost

The shelter was very easy to set up and take down, but practice first at home as there is a bit of a learning curve. It remained dry inside during a moderate rainfall and withstood wind gusts up to 40 kilometers and hour. It was being used by youth aged 8-10 years old and the zipper worked well without any binding or jamming issues. We had a cheaper privy shelter that was also used by youth that did not last more then about 8 weeks of use.

Fairly easy set-up for the first time

Just purchased this and took it to the beach. Fairly easy set-up for the first time. I’m sure after a few tries it will get easier. Very well built and sturdy on a windy beach day. In the past I bought those “pop up” changing tents and they always broke and were never sturdy on windy beach days. I finally spent the extra money on a good changing tent, and so far I love it! I will update this post at the end of summer to see how it held up.

    Good concept, easy setup

Material a bit week with seams, started ripping/wear on first set up.. Pole setup good concept and easy/fast. Poles still a bit weak for my concern and will not hold up to anything more than a stiff breeze.

    Perfect!

I got this for my husband who needed a private area for changing into a scuba suit (he does leak detection in pools, lakes, etc.). It is as easy to open and set up as an umbrella. This has many uses, would be awesome to have for a day at the beach (so roomy with flaps for window covers for privacy or leave open for air, still very private). If you detest public bathrooms at parks, beaches, lakes, etc…bring this along with a porta-potty. It is truly a very versatile item that can be used in many situations. It’s a must have for construction workers. My 6’5″ son can easily stand up in it, changing is a breeze as it is just roomy enough and yet it is so compact and folds so easy, you can throw and store it anywhere in a car, truck, etc. Very well designed and built. One of the best purchases I’ve made!

Once you’ve done it a few time it’s fairly easy to set up. I used it three times for showering while on a wilderness camping trip. I had a garden pump style camp shower and was pleased with how well I could move around even though I’m a bigger (wider) guy. I wouldn’t recommend trying to support anything larger than a bottle of body wash with it.

Great tent. Easy to setup and take down. Plenty of room to shower. The most rugged of all tents I have seen or used. Only con is the shower access flap is opposite of the door. Difficult to adjust the water temp while taking shower. I wish there was an additional access above the door or on one of the sides. It’s trivial but it’s the only thing keeping me from giving it a 5.

    Shoddy

What a piece of junk. It is sitting on ground at campsite until we cool down enough to try to fold up for return. We think it is probably inside out. Two of us spent 45 minutes trying to set it up and we gave up. My husband has built his own home but this very cheaply made tent got the best of him. The poles and fabric are too thin. Also the connectors are cheap plastic. I guess we got a lemon and won’t have any privacy this trip.

Guys, if you want your wife to go camping with you, you need one of these and a really nice port-a-potty. I had the potty, but used to make a screen for it out of tarps, rope and handy trees. Ladies like to feel more secure than a rickity contraption that flaps in the breeze. I finally broke down and bought this privacy shelter from Amazon. Very nicely made, easy to put up, lots of loops for staking and generous in size. You could almost put two potties in there. Have not tried it for a shower yet. Highly recommended.

Easy set up, but design lacks forethought!

I chose this one because of the ‘reverse umbrella’ frame design. (I cannot ever get those ‘pop up’ things to go back in their carrybags!) And that part worked really well. There is good ventilation and a place to put your toilet paper (we only use it for the commode).HOWEVER, whoever designed it never sat on a commode inside it! Or they would have placed the net bag on a side instead of the BACK wall!! So our commode sits sideways – not a bad thing, but … just saying.Another hint would be to have velcro tabs to open the windows halfway, maybe? Ventilation but not a full view.Helpful hint – hubby found a battery operated movement sensitive light to hang inside – no fussing with a flashlight – it just come on when you get close!

    Loved This

If it crawls or slithers on the ground, it’s coming in

I really wanted to like this tent. But after living with it for a few days, I’m truly disappointed that it doesn’t have a floor. For the amount of money they’re asking for this product – it should. And a mesh draining floor at that. In the morning the tent is filled with spiders, flies and bugs and I just have this uneasy feeling that I’m going to find a snake in there one of these days. Or maybe one will just come to visit while I’m in there.Secondly, it doesn’t have a rainfly, so if you’re using this as a port-a-potty and you get hit with a rainstorm, you need to make sure it’s been treated with a heavy duty silicone spray and that your toilet paper is in a zip lock bag. And lastly, though it’s a bit nit picky, I do not like the ridiculous company name “CleanWaste” emblazoned on the top front of the tent. Just about anything would be better…How about: TotalWaste, CompleteWaste, WhatAWaste, SuchAWaste?Sorry, it’s going back.

    Top ten essential camping item!

I purchased this item in 3/14 and camp 5-8 times a year for 4-6 days at a time. I can’t tell you how many times this has saved me from a scary walk in the rain, cold and heat…hey, it’s Texas on a camping trip. And speaking of heat….have you ever used a porta potty in Texas between May and September, when it’s 90+ out and EVERY ONE has been using the big blue plastic thing for a full weekend? Yeah…it paid for itself the first time I avoided that mess. I do feel sorry for my friends every time I see them have to make the LONG walk up the hill in the middle of the night to relieve the call of nature. (Sorry, I’m not a sharer.)This went with us to Burning Man and served as a potty and shower (just put a big kiddie pool underneath to catch the run off from the shower.) It has withstood the 2014 mega-thunderstorm at Burning Man, hail, Texas rainstorms…just stake it out and it’s good to go! By far the best shower tent anywhere

I seriously love this thing. I use it every day as an outdoor shower with a tankless water heater shower unit. It’s extremely sturdy and made with good quality. The only thing a little deceptive in the advertising is how quick it pops up and down. It’s a bitch to get setup and take down but I use it as a stationary setup so I only had to set it up once. Delivers – Easy setup/breakdown

I recieved this about 1 month ago and have used it twice. So far it has been great; setup is easy and can be done by one person. It seems to be built well, especially the interlocking poles which are very sturdy.Definitely worth spending the extra $100 or so for this product over others. We had bought one previously and the poles splintered after setup. No worries about that happening with this. The flaps at the bottom help for weighing it down (in a parking lot, etc).Base is kind of wide for our use (tailgating) and you have to find good space to setup, but others may find that as a positive (i.e. for camping).

Pretty well built but light enough to be part of the small car camper gear. The only con is that setup and take down is fairly tough! Take several setup/take down cycles to master it. Also be sure to stake it down well if it’s windy. It will fly away otherwise.

    Good Quality Enclosure

Arrived quickly and in good condition. Easy to set up and take down. Well worth the money to get this upgraded shelter. We had purchased a less expensive brand and returned it becuase it was cheaply made. Ordered this one instead, and have been very pleased so far. Have not used it yet as a shower enclosure, but am confident that it will work well for that application also.

This pop-up tent was fairly easy to set up taking about 5 minutes including staking down the corners. The quality seems to be good and the interior is high enough to support a shower bag (although I did not use one and therefore don’t know how well it will support the weight of a bag from the center). If winds speeds are low, it is capable of being free standing without adding the extra tie down stakes. My one chief criticism is that it doesn’t have a roof vent which I feel is a glaring oversight for the intended purpose for this tent (porta-potty, shower, changing room)…it get very uncomfortable inside without opening a side vent which defeats the purpose of privacy!

Easy to put up and sturdy

This little tent rocks. I don’t use it as a shower but I don’t think it would hold 5 gallons of water. As a toilet shelter I couldn’t imagine what to complain about.

We use it as a camping potty tent with a tiny battery power light inside.. I put a thin coat of rubber seal black spray around the lower half due to the serious see thru silhouette at night. It is a little narrow ,though the height and side roll , zip door is great. We use the tie downs and it stayed put through a couple storms during a week long camp trip.

Still a huge 5 stars!

Great little privacy tent, really simple to setup and take down, as advertisted it only takes a few seconds. Comes with nice storage bag too!

I bought several of these for our school emergency supply. I think it’s important to have privacy shelters for students if we have an earthquake or other emergency. We will be putting our porta potties in here. I appreciate that these can be relied on to stand up during the need.

Not as easy or fast as they claim. And disassembly wasn’t quick either, actually harder than putting it up. Maybe need to get better hang of it. It is big enough though to stand comfortably.

    Good concept, easy setup

Material a bit week with seams, started ripping/wear on first set up.. Pole setup good concept and easy/fast. Poles still a bit weak for my concern and will not hold up to anything more than a stiff breeze.
